On the fourth floor of the Grand Konoha Training Facility, Ashitaka heaved a deep breath as he resolved himself to get back into the training he'd been neglecting since he was a Genin: that of Taijutsu. After forming the necessary hand seals, he summoned a 30-part series of walls about five meters tall and ten wide. He formed a single Wood Clone to stand beside him and together they began the process of learning how to punch stone walls until they broke. The original assumed the starting stance for Strong Fist and the clone did so for Arhat Fist. As one, they began pummeling the first wall using only the base style until it shattered. He managed to beat his clone by about a second, but he didn't slack upon doing so. Instead, he moved on to the second wall.
Here, Ashitaka delivered a series of high and low kicks whereas his clone simply bull rushed into its respective side of the wall, smashing through the barrier with its shoulder and taking the lead back as his attacks slowly compromised the structural integrity. As soon as his target shattered, he ran forward a few steps and delivered a flying sidekick a fraction of a second behind the clone's rising knee. Once again, the superior raw power of Arhat Fist led to the clone easily smashing through the wall while Ashi himself sprang off the wall, then off the ground using his hands and kicked his portion of the wall a second time. He broke through, but his clone was gaining ground on him due to not having any delays.
The clone's side of the third wall was met with a palm strike that shattered it with enough force to embed its shards into the fourth one. For his part, he performed a sliding low kick to the wall, then vaulted up into a spinning mid kick which sprung him back around for a higher kick and concluded with a spiraling axe kick that drove his side of the third wall crumbling into the ground. He dashed onward to the fourth wall as the clone delivered an upper palm strike that forced one of the larger shards to wedge into it and split off a portion of it then continue onward. Ashi gritted his teeth, noting with some chagrin that he was falling further behind.
They went through all of the techniques of their respective styles on rotation until they made it to the last wall in. Ashitaka was planning to stand on it and duel his clone here, but he just didn't have the chakra reserves by that point. Exhausted, he climbed up onto the wall and sat on it, looking out over the vastness of the one floor of the Grand Konoha Training Facility as he tried to catch his breath. Taijutsu was fairly powerful for its cost, but it still took him and his clone over 30 techniques just to get through a single Doton technique. He was sure that he was doing something wrong here, since it felt as though despite his grace and power with a weapon in hand, his movements felt sloppy and wasteful without any.
