Standing at a height of 5’8”, Shin has a build that is slender than an average person would have coupled with his height. Shin’s scarlet hair, at its full length, is able to touch the middle of his back and is often found tied off only at the base of his neck with the remainder flowing freely towards his back. He possesses crimson red eyes that often remain void of showing his emotions, though when they do, it is when Shin is undeniably bored.
Shin’s wardrobe is oftentimes what some might consider official. More often than not, Shin is seen donning a black coat with various trimmings adorning the shoulders and lapel of the coat. The coat's cloth material covers the majority of the garb, with the ending of the coat finishing off with an ebony fur trim. Underneath his coat, one can see Shin wearing a white shirt with various straps holding the upper portion of his attire together. Shin wears dark pants that have a single chain wrapping around his upper right thigh. His attire is finished off with a pair of black boots and gloves, with the gloves having red trimmings.

History:
Many would consider the birth of a child a wonderful thing, a blessing to their world that would uplift them to raising a new generation, to further one’s legacy more than where it stood currently. Such was the case for the Muramatsu clan of the Land of Earth when the one and only child of Muramatsu Kaien and his wife Himaru. A silent cry echoed through the room when the child took his first breath outside of his mother’s move, and it certainly wasn’t the child’s cry that echoed. Joyous cries from the young boy’s mother rang through the room, with Kaien’s ecstatic glee ringing through the room. The child, a boy with crimson hair and eyes to match, was bestowed the name Shin.
Years passed by with the Muramatsu couple wishing to have a second child. Pregnancies occurred over the span of four years, yet each one ended with no child; a result of two miscarriages and a stillbirth. Kaien and Himaru eventually came to the decision that they would only have the one child, Shin. A healthy, but shy child growing up, Shin made few friends growing up. Those he was able to call his friends, he would eventually come to love dearly.
Living what one would normally deem a normal life, at least for hailing from clans with bloodlines, Shin was often found doing one of two things; reading or training. From an early age, with no insistence from his parents, the young boy had taken it upon himself to push himself to his limits.
Near the age of eleven, Shin and his family - his mother and father - had taken the decision to take a trip, which Shin was unaware of, outside of the Land of Stone. It was described to the young boy as the opportunity to see the world outside of their home, something neither of his parents had the opportunity to explore when they were younger. The trip started off with the family heading slightly south, though eventually, all their travels happened to be westward. Cutting through the Land of Waterfalls, the family would travel slowly for a few months, staying in a village for a few days at a time before resuming their trip.
Once the family had finally reached the Land of Lightning, Kaien and Himaru decided the final stop would be Kumogakure. Shin, knowing none-the-wiser, followed while knowing little about where they were going. Shin’s family, during their stay in the village, did not stay in an inn, but rather with an acquaintance of Kaien’s. In what Shin would eventually, and still, consider a mystery, his parents had disappeared one night, leaving the young boy alone in a village he knew nothing about. The only individual he knew of, in this foreign land, was the man his family had stayed with. After a few nights, the man had found a small hut for the boy to stay in nearby the village, informing him that the place was his own and not to worry about anything beyond feeding himself and surviving.

Personality:
Having spent the majority of his childhood with family and his adolescents through early adulthood on his own, Shin is perfectly fine being on his own. With his parents having left him in a foreign village on his own taught the young adult, at an early age, to be independent and not rely on others. Shin is not an individual to approach others to strike up a conversation unless it is required for him to accomplish a specific goal. Rather than making friends and being a somewhat friendly person, Shin comes across as aloof and blunt. He won’t skirt around the truth, but instead be upfront with his thoughts, even if it means hurting someone’s feelings. Shin functions well on his own, and rarely expresses anything other than bitterness. Finding him with a smile only really happens in one instance; when in the middle of a fight that has his adrenaline going.
