Yenn had received a special mission as an Inazuma clan member. There was a shipment of gems coming in from the Korikane Clan and they were supposed to escort the caravan safely to her Clan’s district. Seemed simple enough, but she couldn’t fathom how this was diplomacy. This was part of why she hated being the clan leader, she was somehow expected to know how a cart full of rocks strengthened relations between the two clans villages. They were at least supposed to be shiny rocks, so there was that. First though they had to find the caravan, which ought to prove to be hilarious. Finding a caravan in the mountains would either be really, really easy, or they’d find it in pieces.
Scouting through the wilderness was actually her specialty and so she would take the lead, heading to the only spot she knew of that was large enough to support a caravan. As luck would have it the wagons in the caravan were not missing their wheels and at the bottom of a cliff. She didn’t know too much about Iwagakure, but if she had she would have felt silly assuming they would have difficulty navigating the mountains. There were two covered wagons and a myriad of other travellers, some on foot and others on horses. Walking up to the lead wagon she would wave it down getting it to stop. No one had instructed her on how this part was supposed to go so she did as she always did and awkwardly greeted the two men sitting at the front of the wagon. “Um, hello. We’re here to escort you back to the village. I’m Yenn. Yenn Inazuma. I hope your trip was alright?” She felt like she’d slept through the vast majority of her academy training, that or Kumogakure didn’t have a Diplomacy 101 course.
