Just-afternoon sunlight slanted through the wooden blinders of the present establishment, leaving the foyer flooded with more light than desired. Beyond, nestled behind a sumptuous set of pink-on-black divider screens resided Osha, enthroned deep in an overstuffed black leather couch, long, thin smoking pipe held elegantly in his hand and issuing a constant stream of smoke from the tip. A smattering of dancers spanned the range of every conceivable hair color, skin type, sex, and level of clothed, spinning and gyrating up on a raised stage slightly behind the booth Gyokusho sat in.

Though a few people came and went as the servers refiled drinks, most people did not recognize him clad in a yellow leather jacket and opaque, diamond shaped sunglasses in door. His mane of golden hair may in some way give him away to super fans, but many others had taken up that kind of hairdo so betting on that to meet a star tended to pay off less and less as time went on. His eyes gave him away much more readily, hence the shades indoors. Plus, they looked absolutely fabulous.

In fact, he had hoped to meet up with one of the dealers that occasionally hung around this more affluent part of town. His recent conscription into military service had been... much more lax that initially anticipated; indeed, the academy proved quite simple for a rather sharp and well-educated adult. Go figure that a 25 year old could easily pass ninja-elementary school. His powerful lineage also helped. But beyond that, the powers of the village thus far had left him free to his own devices. Primarily he had continued to tinker with his music, but the constant threat of dispatch ensured that he had to divide his time into other endeavors. It turned out that the militarized state had a constant need of crafted good, fancifully engineered weapons, and various poisons. Thus, palace of sin. Perhaps some of the available drugs could inspire him, or he could simply reverse engineer them and make some money. With so many of his performances cancelling he needed some supplementary revenue stream.

Hotels and Alcohol Empty Re: Hotels and Alcohol

Post by Tsumi Tue Oct 06, 2020 6:39 pm

Of course Tsumi had to pick up some jobs on the side of his ninja way. Since he was actually pretty much a failure as far as actually being a Kumo nin. He didn't actually pay attention to where to go to pick up work as a shinobi and they had mostly just graduated him to get him out of their hair. The truth was all that Tsumi was good for was a good old fashioned brawl. No save the civilian. No escort the shipment. Even missions that involved killing a target he didn't like because well, Tsumi didn't like killing. He had never truly met a villain or anyone that could get him angry enough to try and kill them so truth be told he had never been pushed far enough. Sure he had a temper but that just led to knocking someones lights out. The poor fool didn't even have any shinobi gear outside of the headband he was wearing. Tied up to keep his bangs out of his face behind his long black demonic looking horns. Yes in fact Tsumi was a simple idiot living a simple life without any real hard ships. The attack on Moonspire was alarming news but not close enough to hit home for him.

For now Tsumi had picked up a delivery job from a local market that supplied frozen food supplies and alcohol to the surrounding establishments. Already he had been reprimanded for getting involved in one fight on the street on his way to make a delivery. He remembered most of old man Hashima's words. ' you are representing both myself and the village young man....act like it will you?' Such a silly old man wouldn't even listen when Tsumi insisted he hadn't started it. Just the other day one of the more ranked shinobi of the village had scolded him for getting involved in yet another street fight that once again as per usual. Tsumi had not started. There was a building theme going but for Tsumi it was just another day and he had on a bright beaming smile as he walked through a bustling market with little to no cares in the world. He had a place to crash, wash his clothes and money to eat with. He didn't really care if he had more than that. Besides delivering goods on foot was a great work out. No real room to complain.

For the time being Tsumi was wearing basketball shorts that were red in color so his red tinted skin didn't show as much and a sports jersey that hung loosely on his person. His red hair was tied back in a pony tail with his bangs framing his face thanks to the headband. He stood a head taller than most and with some heavily built muscles. Which was apparant as soon as he entered the establishment because he had a full metal keg on his left shoulder and a large crate on his right. Most men would have to wheel either in on a dolly or carry it a short distance with both hands but he held both with a jolly smile on his face. Turning sideways to squeeze passed most people with his yellow eyes almost glowing in the dimly lit place. He didn't even seem to notice the entertainment as he set both down with a thud. Though the keg caught a guys toe that wasn't paying attention. There was a yelp from the man before he turned around clearly about to yell at the person responsible. His hand reaching behind him though as soon as he saw Tsumi looming over him. Tsumi was oblivious to it but the mans hand wrapped around the hilt of a kunai.

"Sorry Mister...didn't see you there. You okay?"

    8b8524e1cf18cdd1502e613de251ee74.jpg
A heaping plate of gyoza stacked in a pyramid had recently been brought to Osha's booth and he plucked them ravenously from the steaming stack. A few of the tamer star chasers have arrived, as well as a couple acquaintances from about the city and the impromptu gathering had drinks flowing and a din of conversation burbled steadily from the booth. Osha grew continually restless as the day drug on and it became quite clear that he would need to do a little less illicit procurement and a little more studying. Back to the books then after this. He stuffed a few more dumplings grumpily into his mouth when a yelp erupted from just behind him.

Turning quickly over his left shoulder, Gyo threw an arm over the back of the booth and propped himself up to get a better look at a possible scuffle. From a quick survey the Yokai surveyed that some rando had suffered some kind of unexpected injury at the hands of the tall ragamuffin carrying a keg, preferably of liquor but most likely full of beer. Pity, but you play the cards you're dealt.

The offender in this case wore the classic headband of a local ninja, a member of Osha's ilk now and a perpetrator of one of the most egregious fashion faux pas in modern times. His aggressive red on red attire and general flesh tone made him look mildly radioactive in the electric blue lighting of the club. Regardless, the almost glowing yellow eyes and massive horns hinted that he was probably some form of distant cousin of the pop legend's. He got up, twin glasses in hand, and sauntered on over to the scuffle. Oh boys, let's not fight, especially when we've just been brought a new keg. He threw his right arm over the injured guy, a pretty homely and uninteresting fellow at first glance. His hand moved to bring his spare drink up to the man's lips while he leveled his gaze at this errand boy.

He spoke with tilted head, shades sliding all the way down his nose and revealing his spectral eyes. Hey kid, blow off... whatever it is you think you're doing and come party with us. We have a private booth. Oh and bring the keg; we'll need it. He winked and turned, bringing the injured man with hoping the basketball boy would follow as well.

Hotels and Alcohol Empty Re: Hotels and Alcohol

Post by Tsumi Wed Oct 07, 2020 5:15 pm

Tsumi would be oblivious as he rubbed the back of his head. The man was gritting his teeth as his hand wrapped around the handle of the blade in his belt line. Of course Tsumi would be beyond oblivious to the danger he was in as meat didn't really do a lot to stop a knife even from a weak hand and well, all Tsumi was happened to be meat and bones....barely any brains to speak of. Still those yellow eyes seemed to glow in the dark establishment as they looked to the man. Who was hesitating to draw that knife. If he was unable to use it quick enough...those eyes promised on thing despite the smile and friendly demeanor. Those eyes promised a world of pain for any human that might try an Oni. The clan was infamous for their brute power in combat. Not to mention this one was wearing a head band which suggested some academy training. It was essentially a civilian with little to no combat experience weighing his options against a soldier that frankly spent their every waking moment lifting weights and training. The air was heavy and tense as the bartender was watching carefully now.

It was a surprise for everyone there when a blonde man suddenly pushed himself into the middle of it. Tsumi would blink a little at the sudden appearance of a new person that again, he was too oblivious to notice approaching. If he was a soldier he was certainly a grunt. Nothing to do with intelligence gathering as that required intelligence. The new guy was blonde and kind of pretty though Tsumi didn't recognize him. He didn't really watch tv and all his music was work out trap music. The guy that was injured was surprised and dumbfounded enough to let go of his knife like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Nearly choking on his newly found drink pressed to his lips before he collected it with his own hand and glared between the two men before checking his shiny watch. "I guess I got time...." he mumbled almost to himself before being dragged off to the booth by Tsumi's unknown savior. Of course when it came to poor management skills Tsumi was all for blowing off work to hand out with some friendly people. No real sense of how much trouble he would be in or the possibility of being fired again.

Tsumi would reach for the keg as told before a hand slapped his away. The bartender glaring at him. "Like hell you're just going to jack the delivery. I'll pour a pitcher for them but you, you're wearing your head band so you ain't drinking while displaying that here." Tsumi would pout and stand straight before watching the man hook up the new keg and pour them a pitcher. Marking it on the mystery mans tab before handing it and two glasses to Tsumi. Tsumi would let his shoulders slump and bring the two men their glasses and the pitcher. Setting it on the table and sitting in the booth across from them both. He noticed a couple of the entertainers finally and blushed. Placing his hands on his knee's and staring down at the table with his arms close to his body. Clearly still a virgin. Still he glanced up at the blonde man with those shining yellow eyes. "The bartender said I can't have any....My name is Tsumi by the way.....Who are you and are we friends or something? People don't usually invite me to hang out on account of...well I don't rightly know...."

    8b8524e1cf18cdd1502e613de251ee74.jpg

The situation dissipated from any form of brawl and Osha turned to saunter back to the table, trusting his newfound horned friend would follow and, much to his delight, he would be bringing the drinks on the table's behalf! How wonderful. The once-injured straggler would find himself shoved into the deeper recess of a semi-circular booth as the blond man shook out his mane before shimmying into the booth himself. His ears perked up at the rude utterance of the barkeep and, tossing a smile over his shoulder, he threw up two fingers as the man said 'a pitcher,' clearly indicating that the table would need more than simply one. Again to his delight, the man obliged and poured up a second pitcher, even though he seemed hell-bent on denying service to the fine young man who had dropped off the beer in the first place.

Once Tsumi had returend, Osha gestured to the seat the man would take and reached up with both hands to accept the proffered glass. Now, Gyokusho was no thief and truly not much of a ninja, but he did have quite the dexterous hand and, in reaching up, would seek to accept the beer in his right hand while reaching a bit higher with his left to untie the headband the oni wore, freeing him of the headdress the bartender so clearly found himself hungup on. Should he succeed, he would set it down just in front of Tsumi, remove his diamond sunglasses finally, and wink at him. Call it an educated guess but something told him the man would probably not react in time to stop the little shenanigan. Plus, with no encumbering headband he could drink! Miss, could you grab us another glass please? He caught the attention of a passing dancer who looked more than happy to oblige.

Turning then to the seated demon child, he failed to notice the blush in the neon lighting but saw the stiff posture and positively beamed at the lad, revealing extremely sharp incisors. If Tsumi were to have recognized him he didn't show it, which seemed odd at first, but he must truly have no idea who this man was; after all, now affixed with the pearlescent love bullet eyes of the Kumo sensation there could be no doubt as to who the blond was. Fascinating.

Reaching for one of the two pitchers as the Tsumi spoke, Osha poured into both the glasses he had brought and the newly acqiured one, having more or less anticipated the hang up; ninja really tended to follow the rules. Yes, well that's why we lose the headband in this sort of establishment, if you catch my drift. He slid a glass over the fellow as he spoke and listened with rapt attention, grinning wildly as he spoke. Tsumi. Well Tsumi, well met. I do not believe we've met, judging by your reaction, but you have... familiar eyes. But just because we haven't met doesn't mean we aren't friends. He raised up his glass for a toast. To fast friends in a fast life! One beer down, a few more at least to go.

So tell me, Tsumi, what brings you to a place like this? It seems somehow not your style. While dressed in a rather pedestrian fashion, anyone with eyes could see that Gyokusho's outfit was sumptuous, high quality, and meticulously put together. By the same token, Tsumi looked much more work ready. While he spoke he refilled his glass, and, if his new partner had finished his, would pour him a new round as well.

Hotels and Alcohol Empty Re: Hotels and Alcohol

Post by Tsumi Thu Oct 08, 2020 12:54 pm

Tsumi was at a loss when a blur of movement was all he saw. He would blink a moment before he looked down at Gyo's hand placing his headband down on the table. He was surprised of course but he had no chance of doing anything about it as it happened. He would loo between it and the mans retreating hand a moment before frowning. He hadn't liked that at all. He had worked hard for that head band and to have it so easily snatched away from him was unsettling. For a second there was a dangerous glint in his eyes until no one was touching his head band again. Those yellow eyes staring into the eyes of the man who had removed it for a moment before he would accept that no one had truly taken it. This guy was fast. Faster than Tsumi for sure. But his intentions seemed honest enough. Still Tsumi seemed to feel naked without it. Regardless a beer was poured for him and scooted over to him. There was a toast fairly quickly but Tsumi noticed the man didn't say his name. Most anyone would have recognized him by now but again Tsumi was an idiot.

Tsumi would take his glass and glance over his shoulder sheepishly to the bartender who seemed to have something else occupying his time. Tsumi would take the opportunity to down his entire glass as quickly as he could. As he set it down he coughed slightly and used his fist to pound his chest a couple of times. Once his airway was clear he would burp before replying to the question poised to him with his eye brows furrowed in confusion. Wasn't it obvious what he was doing? "I was...making a delivery? It's one of my side jobs...I'm a cou....couh....I don't remember the word but essentially I make packages get from point A to point B safely. From beer to food to some funner stuff like weapons or packages I'm not supposed to look at. I just pick them up as told and get em to their destination. What do you do Mr uh...I don't think I got your name. " The girl who returned though cut off their conversation as she seemed to be positively beaming. She held out a piece of order paper and a pen to Gyo and asked sweetly for an autograph. Tsumi guessed this guy must be famous or something from that.

However as the girl took Gyo's attention the other man at the booth had downed his own glass having been previously been drinking before was a little buzzed. He reached across the table as he spoke. "Whats the big deal with these headbands anyway? Scrap metal on your forehead is all it is." He said while picking up the head band. However Tsumi's hand reached out and gripped the man by the wrist. There was the audible sound of his wrist popping despite the club music as it began to bend under Tsumi's impressive grip until the man dropped the headband. Tsumi slowly turned those yellow eyes to the man and there was more than a hint of anger there now. As Tsumi spoke in a low growl the man was already fumbling to lift his jacket to get to his Kunai. But Tsumi didn't care. His grip only tightened. "That head band sir, is a symbol of who I am. It is a symbol of pride for anyone who wears it and filthy hands like yours who don't understand that should never touch it. You ever talk shit on my headband again and I will break your arm. Are we clear?"

A courier. He’d missed entirely the uncomfortable reaction at the removal of the headband, but it seemed not to matter for the present moment as they toasted. It seemed this kindred spirit too found the ninja life somewhat lacking in terms of compensation, though he’d turned so something much more pedestrian to get some extra cash. Oh well, not everyone was as adept at concoctions. His face fell in dramatic fashion as Tsumi pointed out his indiscretion, his hand partway through a sweeping flourish of the photo the girl had handed him to sign.

My gods, forgive Tsumi, what kind of gentleman do I think I am? He kissed the picture and handed it back to the female, winking at her as she went. My name is Gyokusho. But, most people know me as, he struck a fanciful pose, right hand set in a kind of check with his thumb and forefinger, just below his chin. OSHA! Pop-star extraordinaire and musical genius the likes of which this mountainous land has never known! The patrons seemed to take not and a few of the dancers upon the various raise diases stopped to look. Particularly in places such as this, Osha proved a bit of a household name, though those glowing yellow eyes seemed utterly unphased and, for some reason, this sent a thrill through the blond man.

Well, either way - cut off, Tsumi suddenly became inflamed by the sudden handsyness of their... guest. Despite the sudden interruption and perhaps due to the pop of the wrist and overall violent hectic outburst, the devilish grin of Osha only increased in its fervor. The extreme patriotism struck him just slightly in the wrong way but he could work around that. That said, the venue wore upon him and he had failed to procure any particularly intriguing chemicals, so it may be time to dip. Also, the bartender for some reason disliked the horned lad.

Exiting his pose in the same dramatic fashion he had entered it, this blond boy would “accidentally” spill the second picture of beer on the poor chap having his hand clamped, easily startling him and providing a nice excuse to leave, though if Tsumi wanted to deck him Gyo certainly wouldn’t get in the say. Oh my, pardon me, so clumsy. He dabbed at the man’s shirt with a spare napkin while looking at Tsumi, jerking his head to indicate that they ought to leave, realizing that the poor thing probably wouldn’t get it, and then twirling out of the booth to Tsumi’s side. Here, let’s let him out, he’ll want to get cleaned up, and pulled lightly on the red jersey. Assuming all went to plan, the man would exit to get cleaned up and Osha would simply suggest Alright, let’s get out of this joint, before leading the way into the crips afternoon, making sure to grab Tsumi’s headband in the off chance the flustered man forgot it.

Once outside, if they made it, he would continue walking through the rather affluent cluster of ritzi venues while chattering. So you’re a ninja as well, correct? I assume from the outburst that you chose this life then? You must be fairly powerful?

Tsumi would blink and stare at the grand display. Much like everyone else in the joint only his face held more confusion. They seemed excited but he was oblivious to it all. Until he mentioned being a musical genius. It clicked for Tsumi finally as he realized he had listened to the music on his old ass mp3 he bought from a pawn shop for working out. It was a more recent upload but he had heard some of it. Still he had enjoyed it even though he didn't really know much about it. He had never seen any music videos as he couldn't afford a tv or computer and had never had money for any concerts. Still he understood now that he was chilling with a pop star. Still it didn't stop his outburst against their other guest as he had just enough brain power for one thing at a time. He was a man who was quick to react instead of thinking first after all so the popping wrist was likely just about to be the start of it. Had the man drawn the Kunai Tsumi was likely to cave his face in. Luckily for him his new friend was much more situationally aware.

The sudden dump of an entire pitcher of beer onto the guys lap caused the guy to yelp in surprise. The shock of the cold liquid causing him to drop the headband and the sudden surprise of it all causing Tsumi to release him as well. Gyo or Osha was offering apologies and help and suggesting that Tsumi let the guy out. Tsumi was so surprised that he kind of just dumbly scooped up his headband in both hands and scooched out of the booth with a tug on his jersey from Osha. The guy would grumble and cuss a bit before heading to the restroom. With very little persuasion Gyo was able to get Tsumi to leave quietly with him as a glance to the bartender let him know that he was being watched. Getting in trouble here was bad for his courier job so he would quickly scoot out of there with Gyo. Not really even thinking about a bill or anything. He didn't want to deal with mean people anymore. And that place seemed to be full of them...and pretty ladies but he didn't want to stare at them either so this all worked out.

The two of them would walk side by side down the street as Tsumi kept looking around at everything they passed in awe like a kid while holding his headband tightly in his hand. Gyo would of course pose a question to him about if he had chosen this life and then that Tsumi must be fairly potent. To this Tsumi would glance at him before blushing and glancing to the ground. Switching to fiddling with the headband in both hands.

"Well I mean...in comparison to humans I guess. But it took me a while to graduate....See, I'm not known for my smarts and I can't figure out how to use my element really...I don't even know where to go for missions. But when it comes to hitting something I would say I'm pretty good. I usually start my morning of with some push ups, sit ups and a ten kilometer run because soon enough....I'm going to be a legend."

A courier. Osho, having extracted himself and Tsumi from that potentially sticky situation, the tall man swaggered on out of the pub, donned his spectacles once more, and lead them into the early chill of the afternoon. He dusted his shoulders off before slinging his leather jacket back onto himself and pulled his long pipe back out, lit it with a swift motion, and took a long drag from it as Tsumi shared a bit of backstory. They made a bit of an unlikely pair but then again, Osho probably would not pair super well with anyone in the ninja world. Perhaps the country’s queen, but he really didn’t know much about her at all.

Good lord though, the exercise this man went through. And every morning! How totally insane. Not that it hadn’t paid off for him, at least in the looks department, but it somehow seemed a waste. Then again, what did Gyo know in the end? He had never seen a live combat field.

As of right now, he could really have gone for some sushi, even though he had finished most of a plate of gyoza moments ago, but another thought struck him. He could potentially leverage this beautiful fool for some personal gain and teach him the location of the mission board at the same time. It struck him as beyond baffling that a ninja wouldn’t know how to find the board, considering for so many of them it seemed to be their only real means income aside from the general basic provisions offered by the royal administration.

Well come along Tsumi, we’ll find that mission board no problem. He carried on then, leading a winding path deeper through the urban glut as the scenery became increasingly orderly and decreasingly populated. More and more headbands began to surface as regular clothing articles as they made their way deeper into the more militarized portions of the village, eventually coming to the central mission turn in, where the board was located. He gestured grandly, if a little listlessly.

So here it is. Do you want to, uh, do one? As far as I have been able to tell they just let you pick whatever ones. Though they sometimes also order you to do particular ones.

    C rank mission:

Tsumi would follow the man without questioning his ulterior motives. He didn't look for the bad in people often and always seemed to get caught off guard whenever someone was surprisingly cruel to him or others. He liked to see himself as a champion of justice but the truth was he was a meat head. With grandeur dreams of greatness and a naive sense of nobility. Still at the mention of a mission board he would blink. Was it really that simple? He just went to a specific part of town and selected a mission? He was suddenly wishing he hadn't skipped off out of the academy the moment he was handed his headband. The man had mentioned that they would find it no problem and Tsumi grinned from ear to ear. Slamming his right fist into his left palm with a loud clap from the force of the connection. He seemed unphased by it all the same though. "Alright! I'm down! Lets do this!" he was way to excited. Basically bouncing on his toes as they walked. His hands kept flexing and unflexing like he was preparing for a fight. Truthfully this young man was all about one thing. A good old fashioned street fight.

Still while they walked when he started seeing more headbands he was reminded he wasn't wearing his own so he quickly tied it behind his horns on his forehead. Adjusting it so the headband was positioned perfectly between his horns. Appearances and all he would think to himself as he nodded and saluted almost everyone they passed with a headband that made eye contact. Still when they made it to the mission board his eye twitched. It had been here the whole time? No freaking way. How hard was it to find a thing like this? Still Gyo would suggest that Tsumi pick one. Causing Tsumi to blink a couple of times before smiling once more. He assumed that meant that Gyo was coming with him for a mission which meant more fun and someone to show off too. "Roger that! I'll pick us a good one!" he would exclaim before running over to the board itself. From there he would use his finger to read along. His lips actually moving as he slowly read each one out loud for a couple of minutes. After a short time he found one that stated it just needed at least two genin and pulled it from the wall. Running back over to Gyo to show it to him.

"This one right here! We get to beat up bad guys and save pretty girls. It's called Swords, Ropes And Panties. Though I don't know what that has to do with the yakuza. Imma show em there is a new fighter in town though! You with me?"

His psychedelic eyes ran over the details of the mission that Tsumi had so happily brought over. It was almost painfully adorable how earnestly he searched for just the right one and, much to his surprise, Osho found that this mission seemed almost perfect. He paused for a moment at the idea of crossing the yakuza, but at the same time he was fairly well aware that the criminal organization had almost no foothold in Kumogakure's lands, so it probably would not be too terribly dangerous. It could also provide a possible fence, which Gyo felt he may soon require.

Plus, it sounded fun, and lusty ladies were never a miss in Gyokusho's world.

Yosh, let's get a move on. I am... familiar with this establishment in question. My I certainly hope those poor girls are alright. Such talent, such beauty. I don't... get along with the owner any more though, small spat, nothing major, but perhaps it will be best if you do the introductions. I'll just, and he tied his hair up into a thick ponytail with his village headband, popped his collar as high as it would go, and readjusted the large sunglasses so as to maximally obscure his face. While speaking, he walked through the village to the more pleasurable district and, in a short while, they had arrived.

He lead the way into the establishment, stopping just outside of the rival establishment and leaning up against a building, just near an alleyway where he lit the long pipe he had, puffing lightly and speaking once again. Alright, here's the rival Pink House. To be honest the 'stolen' employees are probably just dancing in there, though extracting them may well prove difficult. Do you want to sneak in or just rush headlong and start smashing some faces? He figured that he knew the answer but wanted to touch base, just in case.

Post by Tsumi Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:12 am

Tsumi would grin as the guy agreed to go on the mission with him. Damsels in distress and a knight in shining armor. Hell yeah he was down to help. The name was weird and he wasn't sure why girls in pink outfits were in high demand but hell with it. He would follow behind Gyo slightly as they walked. Hyped up for the fight to come and not only that but this time he was on a mission. So no one could scold him for kicking some ass. If Tsumi wasn't the smartest lad licking the freshly painted wall he was built just right for opening doors and kicking ass. Oh he loved a good fight and playing the role of night in shining armor was just all the better for it. Still he would stop by the small courier shop to report in and say he was clocking out for the day for ninja business. He grabbed his phone and his bluetooth speaker before dipping out of the shop. He would flip through his phone as they walked looking for the perfect song of course. It had to be just right for his entrance. He needed all eyes on him.

Even as Gyo asked him how he asked what Tsumi wanted to do he was already kicking play on the music as he grabbed a metal pipe and ripped it bodily off the side of the house. Winking at the man with those yellow eyes filled with the fire of a fight. "Whatchu think?" he said like the guy didn't know him at all before he shook his head and walked right up to the door. He would approach it a little fast with serious intent. His right foot lifting to kick in the door in one swift motion. The bolt splintering as he stepped in. His grin from ear to ear as the dark interior of the house caught his face in shadows. Just his grin and yellow eyes glowing like flames. He would step forward as the beat kicked up and he stormed straight in. The first guy to appear in the hall caught Tsumi chucking the pipe. Pinging him in the face with it and taking him down. The second guy popped into hall right in front of Tsumi and socked him across the jaw. Catching Tsumi in his step and stopping him. Turning his face a moment. Tsumi would slowly turn his face back before spitting blood to the side.

    "Nice hit!"

In the next gather room the man that just hit Tsumi flew bodily across the room and slammed into the wall hard enough to crack the plaster before dropping too. Girls backs up to their rooms and watched on as Tsumi found a spot on the couch and slammed down before turning off his music and kicked his feet up. Two obvious bodyguards and the house manager entered the room. Obviously angry before Tsumi held up his hand to stop them before they could speak. "aye aye aye, hold that thought. My friend is about to come in here and speak. You listen, I stay seated. You don't, you interrupt, cut him off, or take a step in his direction. I'm going to put your men through the walls and then we try again? Comprehende homie?" Tsumi would say with a friendly smile. But those yellow eyes made contact with the manager. The man seeing something there that made him swallow and find a seat. He had this kid outnumbered but he was a Yokai. Who knew if humans could keep up with them?

And so together the rather unlikely but certainly lovely pair bopped on down the road to some very loud music which attracted a number of displeased stares, though the two blithely ignored it. As he moved to take his first puff, the man with whom he traveled tore an errant pipe from the side of a building and went charging in. Rather startled, Osho followed a bit behind, lagging but still able to see the carnage.

Almost immediately he found himself distracted and entangled with no less than four of the entertainers. Within seconds he had a drink in hand and his pipe passed to one of the entertainers who inhaled deeply. Still, he kept an eye upon his friend and trailed behind the wonton wreckage the man wrought, stepping nimbly but gingerly over the piles of refuse from the increasingly damaged shop. Luckily, as per the mission, this particular establishment was entirely in the wrong and they were allowed a certain amount of leeway on the property damage. Probably.

Once finally the pandemonium settled down, Osho walked up to the lounge in which Tsumi had sequestered the house manager. His boots click, click, clicked crisply on the remainder of the lacquered floor. He entered through the double doors, a gaggle of ladies and a few men in tow, knocked back the rest of his drink, took a long drag from his pipe, and handed it off to one of the crowd to enjoy while exhaling slowly. He had not heard more than a few words here and there of his partner's speech, but felt confident that he had gotten the jist.

He certainly new how to make an entrance and he slowly removed his sunglasses to face the visibly terrified manager. He tutted his tongue a few times while affixing the man with his strange gaze and spoke, Oh you poor thing, you've no idea what's going on do you? He paused, mostly for effect, before proceeding as this man clearly had nothing to say. Well, sorry for the rough introductions. We just need to reclaim a bit of stolen property, nothing too major. I believe you know the pair. He lazily scanned the room before falling upon a pair of scantily clad maidens huddled in one corner. Had the mission information not included a description and photo, he could have gleaned that these were the two. He pointed at the pair, You two, you're coming with us. Could one of you grab them a few robes please? He turned back to the manager and the mindless guards. Well great for you, you all need only stay put. We'll just be leaving. Come along you two. Tsumi, the rear please.

He turned then to leave, swaggering out of the place with his 'friends' in tow, the two rescued workers quite near him and trusting Tsumi to both follow along and to keep an eye on the remaining pair of guards should they try anything funny.

Tsumi would smile as his yellow eyes looked to the two guards. Watching them without a word. Those eyes challenging them. Daring them to make a move above that smug smirk. There was one obvious thing there. Tsumi was clearly not afraid of them. It was as if those eyes couldn't be afraid of anything. After all a Hero couldn't be afraid of the monsters he had to fight right? Still he would hold that gaze while his partner spoke. The manager and his two body guards not moving as instructed. So when the girls were given robes and began to leave with Gyo Tsumi would wait until they left the room and finally then he would rise. Walking up to the bigger of the two body guards. Standing face to face with him before reaching up with his right hand and patting the man on top of the head. "That's a good boy spot, now stay." He would say with a laugh as the man growled. His fist clenching as he restrained himself. Tsumi would grin even wider as he backed out of the room. Flipping them all off with both hands before exiting into the hall and jogging to catch up to Gyo outside.

They left the establishment with the door hanging by a single hinge and the two girls free of it's grasp. Tsumi would walk next to Gyo as he folded his hands behind his head while they walked. Idly glancing behind them to see no one following. Just the manager standing in the door lighting a cigar. Well it looked like they got out scott free for now. Still it was a short walk to the other establishment so they had a little time to reflect on it. Tsumi would however make no move towards the girls hanging off his partner. After all he didn't really see how they could help him train and get stronger. They seemed rather fragile. Still Gyo and he had walked in there like top tier thugs. They had dominated and it was all with the permission, no, at the request of the village. Damn it felt good to be a shinobi. Even if they were acting like proper street muscle. Still his eyes would glance over to Gyo as he seemed lost now on why nothing was happening. A small pout on his lips as he glance back before they rounded a corner.

"That's it? No mob coming after us or nothin? I was expecting more of a fight. Only one of that lot connected at all. It ain't like they just gonna bitch out now right? Man I sure hope they don't know where I live......do you think they do?"

As the rescued maidens mid journey ran off to return to the nest of their employer, Gyo and Tsumi continued to walk and chat, the former taking long and elegant puffs from his smoking stick while the latter swaggered coolly along. He led them in a meandering fashion to the administrative park, back near the mission board, so that they could turn in the mission and receive payment. He intended at some later point to also extract payment in the form of good will from the Pink House they had aided, but not now. He did have some other matters to attend to and had heard some babbling about some kind of resonating speaker which sound crews had used in various amps and ninja had coopted into weapons. Most intriguing.

Oh no no, that was the Yakuza, and honestly low ranking members at that. In fact, a good number of the people in there likely have no personal ties and merely serve them either out of fear or some kind of odd admiration. Or a protection racket. Either way, people like that don't put up a fuss when overpowered, and certainly not when overpowered by the state. He removed the headband from his hair, allowing the golden mess to tumble wildly about him once more, took another long inhalation, and then continued. No, they know to stay out of the way. They're businessmen and a fight only loses them more money. Though you did a number on that building. A wide grin spread across his face and looked Tsumi up and down again.

I doubt they know - or care - who we are. Bandits of some sort or other such savages might be a good choice for you in the future; they will put up a fight. But this was entirely political, and from a severely weakened branch at that. Not too much action. Good thing I suppose for me at least, not yet armed. Our 'graduation package' certainly leaves something to be desired.

They arrived at the turn in desk, where Osho handed over the mission scroll, a bit worse for wear, and the young man there began cutting a check. Well here we are then. He'll pay us in no time. You were... he licked his lips once over, revealing again his sharp fangs as his surreal eyes met with the strangely yellow ones of his partner, quite something out there. We'll have to do this or something else perhaps another time. He procured a pen and a glare from the desk attendant and scribbled something on a notepad, handing it to Tsumi. This is the address of my summer home. It's on the southeast side of Tomiko heights, beautiful view of the valley and the sea off yonder. Stop by whenever, I've been forging a few things there. Otherwise I'll be at the village forge or the labs. He turned then to leave on his way before speaking over his shoulder, Oh, and don't give that to anyone else, if you would? Don't want the riff raff getting ahold of my personal address. See you, Tsumi. And with that, barring any unexpected interruptions, he accepted the check from the man and sauntered on out into the slanting sunlight. Nightlife was soon upon them.

Post by Tsumi Sat Oct 17, 2020 12:43 pm

Tsumi would follow along with the man as he learned more and more as he spent time with the guy. He was flashy and interesting and famous. Though to be honest Tsumi wasn't looking to leach off of that all that much. He could see how someone might choose to do that to get their own fame but that wasn't how Tsumi wanted to go about becoming a legend. It had to be from his own strength. Nothing less would do. Still he liked the guy. He was much smarter and more of a smooth talker than Tsumi and understood the underworld which to Tsumi seemed useful. He understood though and believed him that the Yakuza wouldn't bother going after him as he was on an official mission and they hadn't really cost them money too much. Still he glanced back at them. They were just a low faction of the Yakuza or even just under their control right? Which meant eventually he would be tasked with fighting stronger opponents from them. Eventually if he worked too much against them someone strong would emerge. He would slowly begin to smile at the concept. Someone strong to fight...to get his name in their mouths. It was wonderful.

"Yeah...bandits. I guess I'll check them out too soon enough. Wait graduation package? All I got was a headband..."

He would follow Gyo into the admin building again to a specific desk. His yellow eyes would look up as he mouthed out the words. He was terrible at reading. Mission turn in he managed to gather before he understood how the system worked. Kind of. They picked up missions from the board and turned it in to this guy. A check was written to each of them and Tsumi would read the number again. He hadn't looked at the mission for the pay but he was astounded. Fifteen thousand ryo?! He could make this much as a genin? He had no real concept of how money worked but he was sure glad to have some. This meant food oh god lovely food. He was busy salivating and imagining barbecue when the thought of gear crossed his mind. Gyo however had already scribbled something on a piece of paper and invited him over sometime. But told him not to show anyone. Oh god...he held the paper in his hand and trembled a little as he looked around. He could barely read it yet alone figure out where it was....but he couldn't go to anyone for help either...well shit.

Gyo left as Tsumi blinked in confusion and waved good by to him with a sheet of paper in each hand. Well now he needed to open a bank account he guessed....Maybe one of his aunts or uncles or even his cousins could help him figure that out. Once that was done he would ask Gyo to go shopping with him in a couple of days. He would glance at the people in line impatiently behind him and quickly shuffle out of the way. Shoving both papers into his pockets before grinning and going for a nice run as the sun set. He loved the feel of the night cooling on his skin and had some energy to burn off after a fight. Truthfully this was a test to see how much stronger he was then the average thug. He knew now he was stronger. But he didn't feel like he had reached his limits. He wanted more. To gain more power and figure out his element. His yellow eyes were looking to the future and fights to come.
