Five had been spending the better part of a couple of days simply training his chakra. Forming it and releasing it as he attempted to refine it. Strengthen, bend, stretch and release it. Some black thing that oozed from him along the floor he was sitting on. Peeling the hard wood floor as it went and consuming the slivers like a living thing. A dark ooze that exuded a heavy pressure. It had nothing to do with actual strength. No actual overwhelming power. All it was sending out was a monstrous vibe. To anyone outside the home even crossing on the street it would feel like a strange breeze on the air. Leaves stirring in the overgrown front yard as moss on the chain link fence seemed to almost breath. The large house was dark with only one light on in the living room. The window shuttered closed and moss covering the roof as well. The pain on the door, red in nature, peeled a little to reveal the same color of black as the rest of the house. Children whispered of this place as haunted. Though none of them ever dared another to try and get in. They valued their friends lives too much. They truly believed it was haunted. Their guardians feared much worse.
Luckily there were no neighbors within an acre in any direction. No one to complain to authorities about the strange man that would come and go rarely from that place. The house was registered to the Yurei clan but the clan itself wouldn't go near it. They knew the man within. They knew of him and even those who had met him had no interest in speaking with him. A mixture of fear and disdain for him kept them at bay and he rather liked the seclusion. Yurei five was a unique man. Once known as the white rabbit. He had been an infiltrator. Assigned to gather information and eliminate even the most protected targets. His parents had done what many in the family had done and chosen a safer profession in the market business. They were gone of course but he knew of them. Their pictures mostly faded as they decorated the barely furnished living room. The only light came from the fireplace across from the sectional couch. It's orange light flickering and casting a dim glow against the dark room even as the sun rose outside. Barely breaching the dark room.
Five himself was using a chakra control method to sit on the ceiling of the room. The dark shadows seemed to creep ever further along the walls as his chakra fluctuated. Sweat was dripping off his forehead to a spot on the floor with four drops present there. The room was warm but there would still be a cold chill to anyone who might enter. The red door was barely attached as some foolish person at some point had kicked it in. Who knew where they were now. Five himself was shirtless with his muscles shifting with the shadows as he focused on holding himself there. Shoulder length purple hair hung from his head towards the floor but also seemed to float in the air like someone under water. White shinobi pants covered his bottom half with padded shoes. His purple eyes stared blankly at the door as he waited. Something new was coming. He could feel it. His mouth shuddered as he swallowed the saliva building. How long it had been since anyone asked him to spill blood. He was growing so bored and he was unsure how much longer it would be before he needed to hunt someone.
