- Doing the Clean up the Beach mission, D-Rank.[/url]
Again, again with the ocean themed tasks.
Yoru felt his brow twitch in more than a little annoyance as, for the third time in a row now, he was tasked with something that had to do with working the seas or preserving it to sme degree. He could get down with these kind of jobs normally, really, he could. He tried not to think of himself as above any kind of work or any kind of job. However, even compared to standard Genin tasks like running errands or the like, this just felt like too much all at once. He wouldn't publicly kick up a fuss, not when the mission was helping to fund his puppets, but he'd still be a tad salty about the job he'd been given. In the end, Yoru left the Mizukage's office and headed out of the city gates to Ota, the location of the mission.
Upon arriving, Yoru would speak with the client who had sent the mission to the Mizukage's office. It seemed as though that there was a great deal of trash that had been washing up onto shore. At first, Yoru had thought they were exaggerating, yet when he crested over the sand dunes and looked down at the touristy beach below he could not help but let his eyes widen with surprise. Pieces of driftwood and metal were dotting the shoreline, but more than that, just straight up trash was littered as far as the eye could see! "What the..." Yoru said, blinking, looking to the client who had guided him to this point. "It's dreadful. A naval battle has caused a great deal of debris to wash up onto the beach. We don't want our kids to accidentally get hurt, or to see a washed up body, god forbid. Please, help clean this place up so we can preserve a bubble of peace!" They requested.
Hell, how could he say no to something as earnest as that?
Yoru sighed, rolling up his sleeves and grabbing a basket to wear on his back as he walked. He used chakra strings to pick up pieces of litter, flinging them deftly up through their to land in the opened basket, accelerating the process of trash collecting. It wouldn't do for him to go around just using skewers of his hands for every piece of trash, after all, his back would be tired as heck! The ordeal took a full day to do, but by the end of it, Yoru was left standing over a cleaned beach, watching the tide roll into shore.
Yoru hummed in approaval reporting his success back to the client before returning to the walls of Kiri, reporting his completion of the task to the Mizukage's mission administrator. It was another day of honest work.
