Unique Abilities:
A Leg Up: Begins with 400 additional experience. Kameko must pay half of all experience earned equal to 150% of this amount (600 Experience) in return for this beginning boost.
Superb Enchantress: Kameko's enchantments are of superior quality to enchantments done by most others capable of the art. All of her enchantments have double duration, but her dedication to enchanting has left her actual fuuinjutsu skills lacking somewhat. Her intelligence for Fuuinjutsu not related to enchanting is counted as one tier lower.
Appearance: Kameko is a girl of middling height, standing at 5'1" and weighing in at ninety pounds. Most people consider her an attractive girl, mostly due to the curves she's already developed as a teenager. She's skinny, though her body started developing somewhat earlier than most girls and she appears to have the build of a woman a couple years older than she is other than her height. She has an average amount of muscle, showing the beginnings of a six pack on her abdomen that could be much better defined if she put more effort into it.
Her hair is long and blonde, falling to her waist and usually kept up in some way or another. When at the forge, she keeps her hair tightly wound into a bun on the crown of her skull and usually has some kind of hat over it to protect it from the heat and soot. Her eyes are big and blue, helping fill out the rest of an attractive face that is usually smudged with soot or some kind of chemical.
The clothing she wears differs most days depending on what she's doing. Training means light and revealing clothing, while smithing usually means leather and not a place from the neck down uncovered. Kameko is good natured and displays this with her expressions such as frequent smiling and playful gestures.
History:
Kameko was born to Mizuki Amandi and his wife, Yin Amandi in the year 915 A.S. She is the first child and the first of three daughters, making her next in line for the title of clan head. As such, she has been raised in the ways of business and minor bureaucracy so that it is possible for her to pass as an aristocrat to the other large clan heads within the village. Kameko was taught to always use honorifics, but frequently speaks to everybody casually and with a light humor to her tone. She's been this way since she was a child despite her lessons, much to the chagrin of her parents. However, since she wasn't being mean to anybody, they never truly berated her for her lack of effort. Plus, she was just so darn cute as a kid!
She was taught the ways of chemistry from a young age, learning how to concoct basic drugs and medicines when she was but five years old. These lessons extended into poison and provisions, including making the clan's famed candies by hand, when she was old enough to know not to test the poison on herself.
When Kameko turned ten she wandered into the village away from the usually watchful eyes of her parents and managed to find her way into the shop of a blacksmith. The big, burly man that ran the place asked her why she was there and startled her. When she replied, somewhat sheepishly, that she was just curious the blacksmith chuckled in amusement. He told her that he was looking for a little help around the shop and that she could get her fill of learning in while doing some chores. Without asking for consent by her parents, she agreed and spent the next couple hours helping the man around the shop until her parents found her.
They were angered, obviously, and took her home to beat her for running away and then beating her again for staying around a man as low as a blacksmith for so long. Kameko cried when she was beaten, but afterwards she resolved herself to learn how to be a smith just to grind against her parent's gears as much as possible. Tweens, right?
So, despite their protestations, Kameko would continue to go to this blacksmith and would eventually learn the trade by becoming his apprentice when she was twelve. At this same time, her parents enrolled her into the ninja academy where it was discovered that she did not yet have an elemental affinity she could manipulate. However, her skill with fuuinjutsu became readily apparent when one of her instructors was baffled by her learning the Generic Sealing technique in but one day. She was smart, and managed to graduate within a couple years despite a lack of talent in ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu. All of her focus and desires lay on making things rather than destroying them. She didn't make many friends in the academy, mostly because she developed early and all the boys wouldn't stop calling her sweetheart in mockery of her clan's abilities. Another part of it was the bad reputation her clan's members got within the village, something she resented since it wasn't her fault that her ancestors wanted to make money and landed on the wrong side of history doing so.
Now, freshly fifteen, Kameko wants to open up her own shop so that she can help raise her clan to glory again. Her parents are still unhappy with her choice of chosen skills, but the begrudgingly admit that the expanded variety of items within the clan would probably help it grow.
Personality: Kameko is a kind girl at heart, wishing nobody any harm. She has a gentle demeanor and a good sense of humor. She's difficult to anger, though when she gets angry she isn't afraid to let people know that they pissed her off and how. Situations that are indecent, such as a string of crude jokes, are likely to cause her to blush with embarrassment since she still isn't comfortable with what all of it means. Her mind is still developing, and her body's advanced growth isn't helping it any. The attention paid to her by boys annoys her more than anything, though she can't help but feel attracted to the opposite sex at the same time.
Loyalty is one of her main moral traits, one that has been there since she can remember. She can be somewhat shy when first meeting somebody, though after being around them for a little bit she opens up more and generally becomes an outgoing person when comfortable around the people she's around. Kameko is willing to help other people out when they need a hand, even if no reward is offered to her for doing so. Since she's still a teenager, her temperament can change on a moments notice from the hormones that are still forcefully changing her body and mind.
