Tetsu Armoury(Kaji's Store)

The business ran as usual, his store would feel a bit run down but it did the job well enough, he especially seemed to boom a bit in business as the whole "Walking Death" ordeal got spread around and due to the name of the store, it attracted a few peoples interest that way. More so people who wanted to know about Kaji's connection to Ken and less on actually buying something. It was one of those days in the market where there wasn't many customers, every few hours there was at least one customer who came through and when those days came, Kaji decided to spend the time by refining his craft.

He inspired to make weapons just like the Seven Swords of the Mist, it would be good if he could somehow get a hold of one and learn how they were made, but alas... he isn't quite somebody yet to go for something like that just yet.

He decided to start simple, as he oddly had a bit of trouble making weapons with rather complex, small designs and there's one particular design that pissed him off quite a bit, he bought about 10 lbs of iron for this when he made a trip outside his store earlier in the market and he decided to craft two trench knives by the forge, it was a design that he just isn't good with at all and that's something he had to improve on.

Making:
2 Trench Knives

Both will be C-Grade, with the Master Craftsmanship perk, 3 days creating per C-Grade item is halved to 1.5, rounding down to 1 C-Grade per item, requiring 2 days to make both Trench Knives.

Materials used: 4 lbs of iron, 2 lbs per trench knive

With a sigh of relief, Kaji had finally finished crafting the knives. The first attempt felt a bit filmsy but it corrected him on a few mistakes that he was making, which led to the second trench knife essentially being perfect in design. Being satisfied with the attempt, he would have a break for now.

After Kaji took a bit of a break by walking around the marketplace, he would buy another 10 lb of iron. At the start of his crafting from a few days ago, he had trouble with trench knives and now, he could craft them in a rather refined matter. He decided that he wanted to see how refined his crafting is on trench knives by crafting another batch of trench knives, but with more precision and coordination put into the crafting as with the previous two attempts, he crafted them without any idea of how to go about it and now that he has some idea, he believes that he can do a far better job this time around.

He went back to his shop and as expected, there wasn't anybody waiting for him. He wasted no time on crafting the next batch of trench knives.

Notes: Bought 10 lb of iron, spending 1k of Ryo.

Making: 5 Trench Knives, with the master craftsmanship skill, 7 days of making a B-Grade weapon is halved down to 3.5, rounded down to 3. 3x5 is 15, thus 15 days required to craft 5 trench knives of B-Grade quality.

Materials used: 10 lbs of iron for all five trench knives.

After the intensive few days of non-stop crafting, Kaji placed the hammer down and made a new set of trench knives. He made a lot of improvement ever since crafting them the first time.

Kaji decided to try his hand at making armour instead of weapons this time around, especially since the Tetsudashi clan are known for their steel and that represents a certain level of durability behind it, to which Kaji should uphold. He began by making two pairs of leather gloves, to start out on the basics.

Materials used: 1x1 of Leather used each pair, overall 2x2 of Leather being used.

With the crafting complete, he stashes away the leather gloves and reflects on his work so far. It could've been done a bit better in his opinion, but it's at least a step in the right direction.

Miyu had a hole burning in her coin pouch, but had come across an idea she had no skill to achieve. It was her Big Brother who suggested she go to the marketplace to find a good weapon smith. Thus after a asking around she eventually found Tetsu.

She would spend some time looking around while waiting to be seen.

Today was a bit different at Tetsu Armory, he had a runned down Anvil that he had for ages which he assumed his father bought for this shop, but he finally got the money together to throw that out and buy an even better one, it took him a bit of effort to lift it around in the right place but he finally did it... however, just as soon as he was about to sit down and take a break, he noticed someone entering the store.

He waved over to the girl who entered, "Hey there." Kaji would say, giving her the indication that he's noticed her. "What can I get you today?" whether it's something simple in terms of what the marketplace simply sells, or if she wants to get something custom made, Kaji is ready to do either.

Bought: Anvil for 25k Ryo

Miyu looked at the man standing near the anvil and gave a massive ear to ear grin, "Oh! Hai! I'm looking for the weapon smith, are you him? I needed help making something spiffy!"

She'd whip out a detailed drawing of two rings one fitting before each of the first two knuckles of the hand. Forming a claw like weapon that could slip over the fingers and cut with precision and deceptive dexterity.

"I call them Ink Claws because the inner part can hold traces of liquid substances That it ink the cut with."

A small chuckle escaped Kaji's mouth, he could appreciate those who were straight to the point but he certainly didn't expect it from her. He appreciated it nonetheless and was even more impressed that she came with actual drawings of what she wanted, he grabbed them and had a quick look over them. After collecting his thoughts on this request, he put them into words. "Firstly, I am the weapon smith and secondly, this is definitely doable but I can't make those injectors, you'd have to get those made from somewhere else. If you're fine with that, I'm more than happy to make the claws, by default I usually make my products with iron but if you want something stronger, it'll cost a bit more."

He's guessing she came to the store with that in mind as well, considering the sketch of these claws.

"I bought some Ebony already, to give it more of a punch. Will this be enough? And I can make the injectors, I just need proper slots for it please.", she'd then quickly put in the dimensions for a 10 ml vial with a 1 cm sprayer. That was thin enough to fit within the blade held by the ring and reinforced by the claws design.

"Now I'm an Engineer, not a Weapon Smith did I do the math right? If not I'll trust your artistic and scientific knowledge on the subject."

Kaji just grew more and more increasingly surprised, he would've been confused at the design if she tried to pitch it to him but she walked in here clearly knowing what she wanted, and with the right knowledge of doing so through the designs. "Yeah... that's just the right amount actually, and I'm sure it'll work. If you'd like you can have a look when I get around to the slots, to make sure it's the right size."

And with that, he went to his workstation, starting to work on the claws.

Making: Ink Claws which will take 3 days OOC, B-Grade and with the usage of the Anvil, Ebony will be S-Grade Hardness.

Materials Used: 10 lbs of Ebony given from Miyu.

Miyu nodded and agreed to take a look when he got to the slots. And over the next 3 OOC days would visit and help out around the shop and answer any questions he might have.

After creating that order for Miyu and as soon as she left, he started to work on his armour craftsmanship once more. He got a good grip on making his weapons so it's best that he got a good edge on making armour as well. He started to make another series of leather gloves.

Making: 5 pairs of Leather Gloves

All five will be B-Grade, with the Master Craftsmanship perk, 7 days creating per B-Grade item is halved to 3, 3x5 is 15, requiring 15 days to make five B-Grade Leather Gloves.

Materials used: 1x1 of Leather used each pair, overall 5x5 of Leather being used.

After finishing the set of gloves, he put it to rest, being proud of his work for today.

Inarie usually doesn't make requests from anyone. Not even of her family members despite the small number she actually trusts. Still, gotta suck the pride and request some gear so that Inarie can be a better Kunoichi. Especially if she wants a higher rank, she needs to start gearing up like one. Inarie was dressed in a simple white blouse, soft leather pants with a belt that held a pouch, and a pair of leather boots. Her platinum hair is pulled up into a fluffy tail.

The sounds of gravel and murmurings of people were all she could hear. Yet the noise wasn't what drew her to this area. Rather Inarie was drawn here because she was informed that somebody can make any kind of gear she could want. Whether it was weapon or armor. Once she came upon the door to the place she was looking for. Inarie knocked twice before entering the shop.

"Hello? Anybody home?" Her tone wasn't demanding nor was she angry. Just loud enough to draw attention to herself. Hopefully the smithy wasn't too busy today.

Kaji didn't receive much business in the past year, it was enough to pay his bills and keep food on the table but it wasn't exactly a booming business. He figured out it's because of the location, his store isn't eye-catching in the market and it's easy for most to miss it, and the few who do find it are usually people who are curious lookers who don't intend to buy anything, or the one who needs a special order with their gear.

The store, despite the name, wasn't very presenting of one as a weapons or armour shop. He knew that if anyone needed the standard gear like kunai or similar weaponry, they'd go to the other places. They were certainly cheaper but his prices tended to be a bit higher, with the quality that went behind his weapons. The business clearly suffered for it, but he wanted to his reputation as a reliable craftsman who can deliver quality gear.

He was in the back, as the last customer had been around in a few hours. The voice echoing across his store had gotten his attention, his head poking out from the back as he walked towards the front, making himself visibly seen. He was going to blunt about this one, but he'd also maintain a level of professionalism. "I'm here, looking for a special order or just looking around?" he knew any real buyers would only go to his store for the first reason, but he'd rather root out her purpose now instead of waiting around impatiently for her to make the first move.

The place looked a little barren than Inarie expected it would be. Considering what she's heard of the quality this place produces is rumored to be top notch. Something extraordinary to behold as Inarie was told that anything is possible so long as she could afford it. Of course she already did her math beforehand of how much this process will take. Thankfully she already had a good idea of what she wanted too, but sadly she doesn't have the skill to perform it.

The man who Inarie can only assume to at least run the store was refreshingly blunt. A smile on her lips as her eyes seem to have a spark of light in them.

"Buy actually. I like to get two ebony senbon launchers. Twenty thousand ryo for both of them." She too was blunt in what she wanted. Still Inarie wasn't rough or intimidating. Just stating what she wants and how much she'll pay him. Granted she knows the price is a little under what she's paying, but she's considering the interest involved too. An investment to the shop.

"I trust that the launchers will be high quality too. Might need it later, but it's also to last me until I get enough funds for a…" Inarie trailed off as her eyes looked at the top right. Trying to come up with the proper word for it. "A personal project."

The thought already went through his mind, "Two ebony senbon launchers, with high quality..." he had an idea of how to go about it already, but he'd quickly get out of his mind and back to her. "That's doable, the twenty thousand should cover the materials and whatnot." and he didn't pay any mind to the mention of her personal project, it sounded like it was still in the works and he wouldn't pry about it until she's ready to present it. "Will that be all today?" he's pretty sure it is, but he has to maintain politeness for customers sometimes.

It was quick and easy to get Kaji's approval. Not that it was difficult to understand since Inarie was pretty straightforward. Eventually she'll have those senbon launchers protected via gauntlets, but that was for later. Once Kaji gave his agreement, Inarie nods her head in acknowledgement before reaching her hip pouch to retrieve exactly twenty thousand ryo and hands it over. Almost like she prepped it ahead of time, but really she just did some math of how much Ebony and senbon launchers would cost.

"That's everything for now. Thank you for your cooperation." Inarie responded as she handed the money over. She doesn't appear to be deterred by his rough exterior. But once he takes the money, Inarie turns on her heel and moves to leave the building. Best to give him the time and space to actually make the items. At the same time, Inarie needs to work up some funds in order to afford the other pieces of equipment. It could take a month or two before she gets the complete set, but it'll be well worth it in the end.

With that out of the way, Kaji started to make the senbon launcher as soon as she left. He first went out to buy the actual materials needed for the projecting, using 17k of the 20k he gave her to spend on the materials, two units of ebony, two units of petroleum oil. He went back to his shop and started to use the forge, making use of the anvil in the creation process.

Making: Two Tasogare Tsume's, each will take 3 days to make, thus 6 days, using the anvil to improve the material rank from A++ to S.

Spent 16k on two units of Ebony, and 1k on two units of petroleum oil.
