Mission: Elminate the Bandits [C]

The nerves weren't even there. Seid had expected to feel a bit nervous about finally getting a mission worthwhile. This mission they received from the council regarding pressing matters. Bandits had taken up a road away from the city limits. But they were still in the Kumo's realm of influence. A capital offense. So Seid and another Jounin whom he had trained with before and had become good teacher student pairing over the last two years.

They were actually on the road heading towards the rumored area. Supposedly they taking tolls from people on the road, so this meant that this could be one of many checkpoints. Since this was the only reported they had a feeling they were probably low in numbers, making this a C rank mission. Though dangerous still. Dressed for the part, he had all his weapons on him ready to fight. His eyes were striking and piercing as always.

Yün streamed through the manifold in a bolt of lightning, the sound of thunder echoing overhead as the clouds gathered in dark billows seaming forth the rain to drip from the skies in emanipation from the clouds, pouring dousettes of alkaline among the foliage around. First, his sights partitioned and saught Seid, a new genin under his liege in training becoming and beckoning to become enlightened in his journey on the oddesy of the Cloudian Kid. As he completed his shunshin, Yun landed next to Seid, looking over his shoulder, leveling his eyes upon his face, watching the bioluminescent glow emanate and shine within the darkness. He wondered how his eyes glew with such innocent light. A bloodline perhaps? At least Yün wouldn't feel so desolate knowing Seid was also of prestige and traveling with his protege, Seid, whom held prodigious skill. The only question: Seid, before we stream through... Yün spoke lightly, enough to hear his voice over he booming thunder above and the pillowing sounds of water dripping into puddles amongst the area. 'What clan do you manifold from'

Just as he thought about him. On cue the young Jounin landed beside Seid. Though he seemed extremely young, he was actually Seid's age. After their first meeting two years prior he had thought the boy was even younger. It was strange to be instructed by a person who was his age but very much his senior. The Genin folded his arms as the Jounin boy began to speak to him, asking him a question he had heard almost everyday since he was alive. What was his bloodline. He couldn't say to much but it was readily obvious from his eyes that he wasn't normal.

"I am of the Otsusuki clan. We are...different than most other clans. I cannot tell you much myself. As I am still learning more about these eyes." Perhaps they will unlock their secrets for me in due time. But for the moment...the mission. Glad to finally get a mission to test my mettle. Lets defeat those bandits." Seid said eager to change the subject.

'Ah.' Yün slipped causally. It wasn't many in which he'd known of the Otsutsuki although he knew they held high prestige. Their name revered among the lands for being fearless and obelisk of power. Many daimyos fell into taint and bloodshed just attempting to behold the control of the Otsutsuki, however thier will was always thier own, regardless of the numbers against them. From Intel, he knew of them on travel within packs, rarely alone. Yün stopped his frantic thoughts on the clan and mustered forth beyond his subordinate and into the mission, speaking towards his kohai as he waltz forward, preparing himself. 'The local group of and it's which we are to apprehend are known as the NighStrom Knights. They are highly adept thieves which have stole from the merchants and travellers while their caravans were strolling goods through a local trade to our village towards another. We are to clear the trade route, seek thier camp, and defeat thier shiekh. Under no circumstances may we take the lives of the knights. May we only gather intel and dismantle thier forces. Clearing this mission today will be the first step in dismantling there gang and thier influence within the outskirts of our village.'

After gifting a light briefing, he pardoned to ask. 'Any questions before we move forward?' Yün asked, before moving from the path through the brush of the valley.

The Kumo Jounin only sighed at the revelation. It seemed that he knew something of his clan. But professionally he said nothing more on the subject. He went on to describe the contents of a scroll they were given. Containing information on a bandit group who fancied themselves 'Nighstrom Knights'. Though they were doing one of the more despicable things, robbing the free folk of their possessions.

He also asked if he had any questions. All he had to do was stay alive. "No sir. Lead the way." And the duo continued down the path to the valley.

Shinoskay had been assigned to join in this mission as a sensory support ninja, as his skills were still very fresh it was a good way to get a feel of working for and with others while using his sensory technique in a live scenario. As such, he was advised to stay out of combat as best as possible and just focus on supporting the assigned Jounin as ordered. The two had already left for the mission, so finding them was exercise one... obviously this was some kind of hazing and he was probably going to find people laughing or something... Regardless, it would still be a good test if he could use the sensory skill to locate the two shinobi he was to join let alone to aid them in locating bandits. The most he knew was there was another genin named Seid and a Jounin named Yün, both with white hair....

As he made way down the path, remaining vigilante to his sensory while simultaneously maintaining a suppression of himself, he allowed his many bee's to buzz and lazily travel to and frow across about a 200m radious. The 75 bee's would probably be out of place but given the spacing they wouldnt be noticed until they noticed someone and the moment they noticed someone then so too would Shinoskay. His pace was slow, somewhat casual, and his cloths were loose and somewhat too long as he wore a knee length kimono like coat on top of loose, flared, pants and an long sleeved black under shirt. His hair was somewhat unkempt and his head band had fallen over one of his eyes during the trip but he was feeling lazy so he didnt fix it.

Upon noticing the two other Shinobi, he would try and skirt around from a semi concealed point before gaining a visual confirmation of their appearance and apparent rank before actually approaching them. The Kumo headbands showed him they were at least friendly...

Bracing himself for laughter, he made a quick sigh as he left the tree line and upon reaching about 15 feet he would greet the two "Hello, I am Shinoskay and I was sent here to aid with sensory." his left hand waved out to the left as a manner of indicating the environment, as sensory aided in the searching of the same, from the words aid on till sensory. He looked like he felt awkward and somewhat uncomfortable, and his grimace and bunched forehead showed he was immediately trying to read and gauge body language.

Just when Yün would begin to proceed from the main trade route into the foliage of brush, he was graced with a bee. Intuitionally, his mind would stratus with the thoughts of honey combs and flowers, hoping to find the right herbal blends to prepare possible tonics and healing salves, in case anyone inquired food for stamina or general healing. After sometime of light meditation by briefly stopping to admire his surroundings, he noticed the wave of bees increase and a voice chant outwards, inciting his attention in the direction of the call. Yün looked backwards before proceeding into the high grass of reeds and bamboo steeds growing high within the sky. 'Excellent. It's very well to meet you, Shino. You reached the rendezvous at the right time. We are seeking a local bandit group known as the NighStrom Knights.' Yün said refreshingly, refurbishing he mission briefing for thier new teammate. 'We'll know them by appearance, perspectively thier clothing. They usually wear black headbands with upside down stars on thier attire. They have caused quite the ruckus upon these trade routes and we will require non lethal strati to defeat them and complete the mission. Utilize all you can to defeat them when we find them, as long you pull your punches.' Yun spouted surveying the area and gauging the ability of his team with celeric prospection. 'Seid, you can be the rock of this mission. Go all out towards your greatest will and become the muscle we need to we can all make it out of this mission with brawn and strength. Shinoskay, the same for you, however you'll be the river. If you can provide coverage with your familiars, become our eyes and scout the area with your bees to sense the knights before they notice us. The storm clouds are gathering and the sun is beginning to set, so we'll require echolocation to see forth in the bamboo's abyss while traveling through the darkness. I'll suppliment with tactics and healing, so stay close and we will all make it out alive and without scars on our hearts. Those thieves have been quite rancid, and I don't seek to lose any of us to thier daggers or techniques, so keep your mind sharp.' The Cloudian Kid gifted in shepardiam. This would be his first offensive mission, usually streaming through on symantics of diplomacy, however he was comforted knowing he had a team to suppliment and raise the values of success. Without further ado, he approached each genin and asked a simple question: 'Before we move ahead. Which do you value for this mission? Strength, Defence, or Speed?' He ask lightly

So they had a real team here. They were greeted with another recruit, 'Shinoskay'. He had introduced himself as such upon coming out of the shadows. A boy a little bit younger than Seid. He was small and lean but he looked like the part for the most part. Seid had not met him before so extended his pleasantries. "Good to have you here Shinoskay. I'm Seid." Although he mostly tried to go without saying his clan name. It was hard to ignore with the Rin'negan staring back at you.

Kumo had sent a sensory to aid them in detecting the enemy. A good idea, they weren't sure of numbers of the bandits. Seid tried to give a look past the bamboo trees and the grass. To hard to get a good visual, and Seid could not see chakra just yet. A sensory skill would be most helpful. That left Yun coming in to explain that Seid was to be muscle of the mission. A little taken aback but he nodded his head in agreement. An order was an order.

Fully armed with his armor and Scythe, he sure they would be not match for the combined efforts of the Jounin and Genin. Then Yun followed up by asking what Seid preferred more as far as the mission. "Offense. We have to defeat the bandits or we fail." Seid's cocked to the side slightly. The Cloud boy spoke strangely, almost in a riddle of some sort. He shook his head. Just imagining things.

The junior genin would scratch his head nervously at the question while trying to give it thought for a moment, but ultimately, while glancing at one of his bees off near the tree line, he would reply "I dont really favor any of them, I guess I like chess?" the nonsensical none answer was the best the boy could muster in the situation. He was largely glancing around from bee to bee as he scanned the around in attempt to avoid direct engagement with either of the other shinobi he was sent to aid and he didn't even really think about the answer much either.

If his answer was accepted then he would feel relief and move with the others but if it was seen as odd then he would scrunch his forehead in thought as he tried thinking about why the hell he mentioned chess of all thing.

The question was to gauge the pathway of both of the genin in route of knowing how either would handle the a situation within the moment. Within the same course, it would cause Yün to properly suppliment when the time shined light of both genin in the flight of battle. Upon hearing the answers of the two genin, The Cloudian Kid meditated lightly, inhaling deep before speaking. 'Let us Begin~' He moved from the brush of the high grass into the forest of bamboo. The stalks gradiently high, streaming towards the dark cloud covered sky, shining the lights of the stars in the void of the new moon. Crackling lighting streaked across the sky, enlightening the terrace of the forest before a flash of light and, afterwards, a blare of a thunderous boom echoing through the forest. Yün listened through the forest, hoping to find the rememberance of the camp though the sound of the resonancing bamboo. He quickly dashed towards the direction of east, until he saw a burning campfire, with a few guards of the NighStrom Nights {3} huddle'd around, each being equipted with a dagger, and a small satchel. He observed them, prospecting thier ability based on perception. They wore very dark clothing with reverse pentonic symbols, signifying thier allegiance with thier criminal organization.

So it was up to Seid to lead the assault on the bandits. They had a camp set up close to the road. This was where they were stopping passersby. The intel they received was indeed true. They were highway robbers taking tolls on the unsuspecting citizens. Seid was immediately angered by this, and also by the fact that they could not kill them. Practicing restraint was something he would have to learn. It seemed now was better than ever.

He looked at Shinoskay and nodded, showing he was ready for the assault. "How about I walk out to gain passage through. Distracting them while you guys move in for the attack." Seid said thinking of the plan on the spot. There seemed to be three of them, and with their numbers and Yun's prowess they were even in numbers. They had a good thirty meters before they were seen, so Seid began to walk towards them bandits checkpoint. Yun reminded him not use lethal methods. His scythe hummed with power. But he nodded his head. "No problem."

Shinoskay saw the two before them, but he could sense another up in the tree's and a fifth off in a squat, possibly excreting. Shinoskay, reaching out with his sensory while also slowly moving his bee's out to blanket the area, he made and sent 30 to pass from his Hakama pants to the earth before then quietly crawling their way out into the area that included the bandits... another 10 would leave from under his collar to up into the air in order to get above the bandits "another idea, I could cause some hysteria and you could move in to combat them... before they know whats happening, you could take out two stragglers and one of the three we have in sight before a real fight starts... right?"

The boy didnt think to clearly present the numbers he was sensing, hopefully the information he provided would clue the other two in that he sensed more then the three they saw. It made sense though, ambushing caravans required the perspective that there was no other options except your life or your money. It was actually likely their was more then just the 5 even, this was probably only whoever was out working right now and there could be more out somewhere. Most people react to Bee's by flailing and panicking to fend off the swarming insects and this would both limit their sense of awareness as well as blend the sound of action in with the panicked screams of the bandits as they all reacted violently to the bee's. They would likely, initially, attribute the commotion to the very same bee's they each were dealing with and only would realize there was another threat when it was right next to them... taking out another of their allies.

The Bandits of the NighStrom Nights were drinking harsh ale around the campfire, foolhardily being doused in inebriation an insulting each other in witty banter and games of brawning competition. In disarray, thier perceptions were negatively shifted by the intoxications, which hindered thier ability to fortify any forms of defence against the flanking approach of the grounded bees. Upon noticing the swarm of insects on the ground, the small group of men and women dropped thier tankards, frantically stomping the earth in an attempt to fend them off. Noticibly, the flying bees would perplex their sights from the approach of the brave Seid stepping forward with his Scythe, leaving them all inhibited for attack, defence, or noticing the groups next move in dismantling them from the area.

Seid was appreciative of the effort of his comrades. Though he was unaware of the dimension he hailed from, this had always been the home he knew. It was a shame there were others that wanted that too burn. This made him with a more vindictive approach to these bandits. Shinoskay true to his word was indeed skilled with sensory telling the group that there was possibly more than three and up to five bandits out there. And he seemed to have an affinity with bees as well, for they followed his commands. What a strange ability.

But he was not one to talk. His birthplace was something out of a myth. But the danger in front of them was real. Seid flexed in his armor, fully plated to take on any foes. He removed the scythe from his back as the bees sent from Shinoskay began to bother bug the bandits relentlessly. They began to become so bothered they didn't even notice a charging white-haired Genin running towards them. Swinging using the back wooden edge of the scythe, he whacked one of the bandits in the head. Sending flying sideways and crashing into the ground. The other bandit next to him was became even more shocked with the his comrade getting knocked out.

He tried to back away and gain his bearings but tripped over the campfire and went stumbling backwards. Seid took advantage and jumped after him. The Genin jabbed forward with the butt of the scythe and sunk into his abdomen. He crumpled and keeled forward. Still on his feet Seid used his scythes handle and planted it into the ground to give him a firm hold. He kicked forward and connected to the mans head. He snapped backwards with a loud grunt and said no more. Hitting the ground all hell was going to break loose as the rest of the bandits would eventually converge on him. Time for their trap.

As soon as the bandits noticed the bee's, 15 of the 40 ground traveling insects would take flight and swarm up at the targets... another 15 remained on the ground to continue moving with some semblance of stealth before reaching targets. 10 had been destroyed.
In a moments notice, 2 of the 3 had dropped and where unconscious while the one up in the tree would find they were starting to find 10 bee's engaging with them. The bee's would go right for the eyes and face, drawing the bandit to toss his head back reflexively and this would cause him to bash it into the tree. Not enough to knock himself unconscious but it definitely dazed him and sent him hurtling out of the tree towards the ground. The fall would probably injure him and further daze him but would also still not be enough to knock him out. The one that was off doing their business would be seen running near and through the seen, pants around his ankles, as he fled from more bee's.

For the most part, there would only be the one aware and prepared threat to face off against Seid.

Shinoskay himself would stay off, back, near Yün as the too observed the situation and as the young genin would focus on directing his many bee's across the scene.

With the knocking unconscious of all of the drunken shinobi caught within thier inebriated stupor, the Cloudian Kid rushed from the forest of bamboo into the frey of the shinobi, being mindful of the bees, weaving handsigns and generating small amount of chakra secreting water through the pores of his tongue. He quickly doused out the water upon the campfire by spitting foam, diluting any forms of embers which may have flared from the caim of logs blazing light within the small camp. Afterwards, he approached the first bandit, in dazes unconscious and graced a strand of her hair before, enveloping her mind with his left palm, firmly holding upon her head. Her eyes flared open in a bright white light, covering both Iris and pupil, afterwards, chakra streamed through the mind of Yün, glossing his eyes with the same effect.

As Yun held onto the head of the NighStrom Knight, he accessed the pools of her memory, uncovering any information on the organization, thier whereabouts: local and industrial hideouts, and her Subordinates and leaders. Through the Psycho Mind Transmission he also streamed through her Techniques and fighting styles. He then created seals upon his fingertips, touching and sealing the trio shinobi after the day was complete. During this period of time, the stamina of the shinobi refreshed, except Yün whom siphoned information from the shinobi. After the day of rest was complete, Yün informed his comrades on the informational which he gathered.

'It seems the NighStrom Knights fortified a few other campgrounds in proliferaries of three shinobi. Their levels of ability are gauged by rank of D and C with the exception their Leader and her Subordinate, being Ranked B and S. They have bases in caves and caverns where the waterfall stream, however there are only two other camps within the area: One with another set of D Rank shinobi and the last all being C ranked. The battle was on. Shino was causing the perfect distraction with his use of bees. The bandits before they had arrived were already drinking. Belligerent and stupid, they were a poor sight too see. The eyes of the Rin'negan gleamed when they spotted Yun appear out of no where. His speed was something that he could not comprehend just yet. There was another bandit, the first one they had spotted, he was the target of Yun's wrath. He grabbed the mans head and a strange energy exerted from him.

Seid squinted as he held on tighter to his scythe. Yun began to tell them that there were a few more bandits around. They were nearby using this a checkpint. "This means they must have multiple checkpoints. And they are not just robbing people on one road." There was no time to waste. Seid held a seal to his face and charged forward into the bamboo forest, moving at higher speeds than he was used to.

With the 5 bandits incapacitate or otherwise unable, and Seid rushing off to wherever. Shinoskay would casually move over to the bandits to first tie there hands behind their backs, then to draw their shirts back before tying that too so to bind their arms, before then producing and directing more bee's to cover the torso's of the bandits. This would serve to both deter them from resisting, as the site of bee's on your torso often causes one to not want to do anything that the Bee's may react unfavorably, and if any of the bandits acted up then they would find themselves getting stung several dozen times. Finally, Shinoskay would call upon the Kamizuru's affinity for wax and honey formed chakra to draw and hack up from his throat as if to spit phlegm from his throat, just to then spit chakra formed sticky honey like substance upon the bandits hands and arms to reinforce the binding. It was a simple concept, much like the bee's, the idea was to visualize the chakra moving into your throat before then directing it to gather the natural bodily fluids from the area before then blending the two into a sort of sticky and quickly hardening substance similar to how spider jutsu is formed. With that, Shinoskay would gather them up and take them all back to kumo to turn them over to the prison.

With the round up of the first wave. Shinoskay made quick avail with creating cuffs for the bandits, salving honey from his oralfice to trap the bandits in sticky goo and wax. Yun watched in amazement, sigiling his hands in prayer before Seid ran off suddenly, streaming off without team. Shinoskay immediatly attempted to drag the NighStrom Knights, however failed to realize his strength and the combined weight of the shinobi.

As Seid made his way through the bamboo forest, there was Nighstrom Knight awaiting in the Manifold, crouching itinthe brush hidden with a grand crossbow in hand. Seid's angular movement immediately startled him, shaking him as the white haired boy approached and ran through. He instinctively shot, closing his eyes, at point blank, yet the arrow within the crossbow's Anko jammed, splintering the arrow into shrapnel as the collision spewed wood pikes backwards into his eyes and hands. He screams in agony, rolling over into his back, shouting out into the forest. ~ Shinoskay's Sensory: The next set of NighStrom Knights are alerted, drops thier tankards, abandon camp and rushes towards the anguished cry of thie comrade.

Yün immediately heard the screen from afar and halted Shinoskay from leaving, saying gently: Let us nt abandon the team, for we require to stick together to complete the mission for its entirety. May we remember: We are unity, thus a hivemind. Will you Shepard the flock so that we may have eyes? There is only so much we can see without you. Yün leveled with Shinoskay. There was only so much either could do at this moment, however being one with the team was a main priority and even with a helping hand, Yün and Shinoskay together could only lift//drag//pull two or three knights at one time allocating a days worth of work. It was no way they could carry thier incapacitated bodies without the help of Seid.

Seid was moving much quicker with careful application of chakra into his feet. The bamboo forest was thick even though they were skinny trees. Which was why Seid did not see the bandit hiding in the bushes for an ambush. The only thing that alerted him was the sound of wood on wood impacting each other. There was a loud explosion of wood and he heard screaming in the bushes a few meters away. Seid stopped running and took a careful look at the direction.

Being careful not to get caught up. He used a single seal, and used his chakra to create a puff of smoke next to him. A clone came out of nowhere. But this clone was much different than his hazy clones. He had come a long a way from his Hazy clone days. This was a Shadow clone. A perfect copy of Seid spawned next to him. Who immediately dove into the bushes. He tackled the bandit to the ground and punched him in the face four times before he was knocked out on the last hit.

The rest of the bandits in the surrounding area would now run off in fear of being captured along with the rest of their companions.

Seid sat the bandit up, and the original said, "That seems to be the last of them. We've broken up their toll for now but I assume they will be back." The clone dragged the bandit back to where the rest of the group was. "Pick a person. We're just taking them to nearest village. It would be a drag to take them all the way back to Kumo." With that the original Seid tried help with the other prisoners by taking them back to a nearby village. [Exit]

I watched as both Shinoskay and Send abandoned and failed to complete the whole mission, leaving to drag the bandits away. I let them leave, yet he inquired to finish the rest of the mission and pursue the other bandits which I was informed through the reading of the mind through the Psycho Mind Transmission. I quickly streamed through the bamboo forest where I found the blood of the bandit which Seid carried away, his wooden crossbow laying in the foliage. I swiftly thought to purge his weapon, there was no need to pick up, salvage, or utilize a broken weapon. I melded chakra through the layers of my meridians, feeling the streams of energy rushing through my veins. A shockwave of thunder emanated in a boom, flashing lightning over my palm then manifesting a darkstorm cloud over my left hand. The storm cloud began raining, saturating my hands with water, dripping upon the ground as the storm clouds cackled in lightning and bellowed in thunder. I channelled ranton through the cloud, illuminating the cloud with lightning which departed the dousettes of water, skattering them from my hand and from the cloud, as it rained in a puddle upon the ground beneathe my feet. The skattering dousettes formed a Halo which became invigorated with the electrolysis of the lightning, seaming rays of cerulean, helixing into volleys of motes of neonic streams. They spiraled together into a large ray, blasting the crossbow into pieces and destroying the weapon entirely, leaving no trace other than a small crater in the ground.

In the distance, I could hear the pitter pattering of footsteps approaching. With swift application, I applied chakra towards the bottom my feet, invigorating my soles, hopping upwards, then jumping again, stepping upon the air for brief lifting with a gust of wind, my celeric movement sifting the molecules of air away from me, gifting me swifting whist stratusing in a beacon of water droplets and a breeze of wind. At the peak of my height, I clinged upwards a bamboo shoot conjuring pillowing dark clouds around me, submerging myself within the abyss of the storm. The bandits passed directly underneathe me, stopping only to admire the crater and blood from thier previously hurt comrade. 'What has become of him?' one asked. The other bent down, placing his and within the crater which I previously obliterate the weapon which I despised the most; an arrow shooter. He stood, looking around, while the last readied his own crossbow, loading it with an arrow.

After a brief moment of silence, my clouds began to pan further outwards around me, masking my appearance, my thoughts, movement and justified reason for not chasing after abandoning Comrades; silent. Without disarray, when they least expected it, I released a volly of lightning beneath me, shocking them all with the haste of a rabbit sigil, sealing them from running. Golden streaks and bolts of light jaggedly fleed from my cloud with a snap of my fingers, arching towards the unsuspecting NighStrom Knights. After shocking them into submission, the fell unconscious towards the ground. I glided within my cloud lightly towards the ground in feather fall where I dequipted thier weapons and obliterated them with a Lazer from my left hand..

The last bandit in hiding heard the blare of the lightning from far away, aiming in the distance with a grand crossbow bow. With her perception she couldn't see anything, or at least couldn't see the Cloudian Kid Wonder within his dark clouds, emanating in a globular orb pluffing and pillowing around him, like waves in the stream. She readied three bolts, before pulling the trigger, then readied another three bolts as a swift action shoot running towards her left in an arch, afterwards she readied another three bolts before stopping and pulling the trigger a third time, stopping to see if they had any effect, dropping her aim and readying a hand seal thirty meters away.
