The Heavens Above the Valley

Honiko walked up Baleion's tail using chakra. The woman's blue hair glowed softly as she finally joined Nozomi and Bayushi on the beast's back. The woman sat down criss-cross applesauce and waited patiently for certain events to play out down below. Balerion was more or less stationary having been instructed to remain in range for a while longer although at a significant height and distance. Honiko placed her palms and her knees and sat directly in front of the Kumo Nuke-Nin. She stared at him unblinking and said nothing instead allowing an ominous silence to fill the space in between them.

The circumstances at the moment didn't allow Bayushi to adjust at his discretion. Honiko walked ominously from the tail, chakra clinging her to the great white beast they rode on. She made her way to where Bayushi and Nozomi lay. The ride was bumpy of course but he was amazed by the sheer size of the dragon, able to take four people on his back with little to no trouble. This dragon was the first Bayushi had ever encountered or heard of. There were tales here and there but what was that compared to the real thing.

He had felt a lot of fear from his betrayal at first. But it was overshadowed by the maderaw presence of Balerion and Honiko. The latter found herself a spot and sat down in front of Bayu and Noz. She said nothing but her presence was speaking with a different tongue. Bayu looked up and gazed back at Honiko. He felt more nervous when she was directing her attention towards them. But he swallowed that feeling down for a moment, so that he can say one thing.

"What's next?" He said to Honiko.

When Bayushi spoke directly to her she blinked once. "We will travel to the Isle of Whispers and I will explain to you exactly what it is you have elected to be a part of" The explanation was more of a courtesy. At this stage Bayushi was not in a position to refuse her commands. "You will also receive training the likes of which you could only have dreamed of in Kumogakure. You are of no use to me at your current skill level but that can be fixed so long as you are willing to work hard" Honiko ceased talking and continued to analyze the movements far below them.

The Isle of Whispers? His knowledge of the foreign world was short and mute. He knew next to nothing outside the five great villages and their respective countries. However this place was of complete mystery to Bayushi. They were pretty high up now, however they were keeping a respective distance for some reason. Bayu looked down but they were better off being ants for how far they were from his position. He could barely see anything or what was going down back on the ground. He was still in the air, flying at that.

Bayu reached for the headband around his head, and untied it it. Holding it in his hands he stared blankly at the headband before him. He would no longer be a Kumo-nin. They did not offer him the training he needed, even though it boasted to be one of the strongest villages in the world. They had no idea how to deal with a Cursed One. However Honiko said he would receive training that goes beyond that of Kumogakure. For right now he was useless. It was time to discard his past, his family, and only focus on the true calling of his heritage. Power. No longer known as Baysuhi Sojima. But only....Raijin.

Honiko sensed her clones poofing and in the same instant all the knowledge and information they held was transferred to her. Honiko slapped the palms of her hands down on her knees in grudging admiration for how the Kumo-Nin handled themselves. There was hope for the shinobi world yet. Well done. She allowed before standing up and snapping her fingers. Balerion flew towards their destination at his top speed. Honiko sat near his head in the lotus position with her back to Bayushi and Nozomi. The ride to the Isle of Whispers would take awhile and she was not in the mood for conversation.
