Clan History/Description
Their leader, an oni known as great red, passed down his cursed chakra by blood, creating what is now known as the oni's curse mark justu, or the cursed oni's great seal onto his descendants, creating the Heyova clan. It has been around for over a hundred years. Before the first great ninja war, they were a roaming band of mercenary ninja, allied to anyone who had the money to hire them. During this time they became known as the Heyova mercenary family.
After great red almost dying and having his life saved by a leaf ninja during the first great ninja war, he and the rest of the Heyova clan joined the village as hidden in the leaf. The clan was then split into two branches: the main branch that, whose members were sent into the leaf village to train as a ninja, and the lower branch that was forbidden to enter the village by the head of the clan due to the fact that the leader of the lower branch plotted the assassination of the great red during the war.
This caused the lower family to develop strong hate for the main family, as this prevented them from growing stronger. The fact that they were also suppressed, was only added on top of that.
Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics
All members of the clan are born with horns on their head most are two horns (main branch) while others have one(lower branch or one branch of the families) members of the clan born to lead the clan will usually have larger horns that need to be covered( exp:yuaito) and do so by wearing helmets with cloth bandages on them some members of the clan have been known to be full oni's regardless of rather or not they are mixed-blood those are rare and are harder to find within the clan most clan members are mixed-blood now days.
