With the end of the second round over, Lily would watch with some disappointment as the items she had borrowed from Innocence were taken away. For the Pit Fighter it was a shame not only because they were quality items, but it, in a way, prevented her from bringing Innocence to Round 3. Normally that wouldn't have bothered her, but it still stung. Still, that wouldn't stop her from continuing her goals. She had made it to the best part of any test, she had made it to the individual fights. No matter what happened now, she'd be able to go all out, to use the opportunity her penguins had given her.
After all, the point of a tournament bracket meant that she'd be going up against the best this generation had to offer.
Out of all the names listed on the bracket, she recognized just under half of the names: Hisha, her partner during the Second Exams and a member of Kirigakure. Natsuki, AKA Number 43, former ally of Innocence with some interesting red eyes who might be able to match her. Finally there was Sara, the blonde from the opening ceremony who she know the least about. The other names, that of Nakaba; Kudo; Nao; & Hibiki she didn't recognize, but she was sure that they were Number 31, Number 8, and the purple eye partner for sure, and very likely the Metal partner of Innocence was the final one. She had to make an educated guess as to how she'd need to prepare.
Seven possible opponents. Six known variables. Five non-finalists. Four unknown names. Three possible fights. Two finalists. One victor to the Exams.
Summoning one of the penguins that taught her ninjutsu, she'd open the scroll and began studying as much jutsu as she could. She couldn't many any more weapons before her fight began, so she'd take all other advantages she could grasp. She was Liliane Anastasia Sisyphus. She was the Prodigy of Vandel, the adopted daughter of Kitsuki Kurahasa, the one who could stand against a natural disaster with nothing but a knife and wits. She could do this.
She could win this.
