Heading home

With the mission in the land of hot springs completed, Nao was more than ready to say goodbye to the foreign country and return home. There was still much to prepare for the Chuunin Exams and little time to do so, brushing his hand through his hair as he made his way to Amarok. As Nao climbed onto the dire wolf's back, feeling the sturdy muscles beneath him, he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for his faithful companion. He had no idea how long it would take him to walk all the way back to the hidden leaf village, and thankfully he didn't have to find out. Amarok was more than capable of making such a journey with ease, and he knew that they would arrive back home in no time at all.

Exit Thread - Traveling

OoC Note: traveling back to Konoha due to other thread being at standstill and having things I would like to do in konoha, but don't want to ruin the thread, if it continues it will just be a flashback for Nao starting his next post.

It was a relief to be able to head home. Seeing these new sights, smelling these new smells; it was all well and good, but Natsuki was eager to return to his routine and his expected comforts. As Nao mounted up, the young Uchiha would so in kind, upon the back of Tori's strange friend "Unagi." Presumably, Tori would join him, and the pair would be off back to Konoha.

The sudden bluster of air forced his eyes shut and his wild hair back. While he recoiled at first, he allowed a moment of calm to wash over him despite the whipping against his ears. Mission accomplished... And it wasn't dog walking!
