Tenshi Fujio stood alone in the courtyard of the training facility. A cool, gentle, breeze blew through his hair, green and orange strands dancing in tangent around his head. For the moment, his eyes were closed, his feet shoulder length apart, right leg in front. His left hand gripped the scabard of his sword, the right gripped the hilt. His ears listened to the rustling of the leaves that grew on the trees around him. Then, as expected, and slightly stronger gust of wind blew through the courtyard, and sent leaves blowing forth from their branches.
At that moment, Tenshi's eyes shot open, hazel irises reflecting the sunlight. As streaks of green blew towards him, Tenshi moved, using his back foot to propel himself forward, his right hand moving outward to draw his blade from it's scabard, locking onto his first target, the leaf closest to his person. Swinging outward, determination plastered on his face, he moved the sword towards the leaf and... missed.
His eyes widened at the realization, and his calm demeanor dropped. Suddenly, the seemingly well trainined man had become a bumbling fool, twisting, turning, swinging his sword in every direction, trying, struggling, to slice even one green leaf in two. When every leaf had land on the ground around him. Tenshi looked around, finding exactly two he had managed to strike. Letting his head hang and his shoulders slump, he let out a sigh. "A real sword really is way more complicated than a bokken..."
