A simple drone in the grand scheme of things, but soon he would become a solider fit and ready to secure the colony's continued survival. It was with this purpose in mind that he had used his starting salary to secure the best possible advantages for the future to come. Subconsciously adjusting the newly purchased bag, filled with all his purchases, Riku commanded his hive to calm its happy droning as they fed off his positive mood; it would not do to startle the civilians around me.
It didn't take him a long to make his way to the training facility. He had heard tales about this place, but being in the academy, meant it was off limits until this very moment. Controlling his awe, and following the procedures, Riku found himself a quiet work area for himself.
Today wasn't about training his jutsu or his body, but doing the necessary preparations for the future ahead; one probably filled with bloodshed and battles. He would do his best to ensure little of that was his own.
With that thought in mind, Riku began taking out his purchases out of his bag. First to come out were the sealing mediums; one medium scroll, two small ones, and a stack of blank sealing paper. With those adorning the station, he then took out one of the medium sized ink pots, along with one of the ink brushes.
His choice was a matter of efficiency than anything else. Getting the seal work done would allow for the rest that he had planned, to be done without any unnecessary clutter. That, and he really wanted to put his training to good use.
Riku took out seven of the blank squares, laying one before himself, while his Kikaichu silently made their way out of a few openings near his wrist, and opened the lid after enough of them gathered around it. With practiced ease, he dipped the tip of his brush within it, and began to create the seal for the only offensive one he knew; the explosive seal.
His brush never left the paper until it was necessary to take a marginal dip to renew the ink, and while he could do so at more combative pace, Riku's focus was currently on enjoying the act and beauty in his creations. With barely a lift of his brush, his Kikaichu swarmed the edges of the finished seal, and placed a blank one down before him, as he once more got to work on creating another.
Soon, Riku looked upon the dried stack of neatly placed seals on the top right of his work station.

Next on the list was creating the means of storage for both his items and a quick employment offensive. Focusing on the paper, Riku began his steady strokes on a storage seal, one meant for weapons.
It was a seal vaunted for its flexibility in what it could contain, as well as the protections one could create for releasing its contents. For this, he created one that worked by proximity and the minute pressure of three Kikaichu on three dot like symbols around the main seal. With that done, Riku made to follow with another similarly designed seal.
Placing them beside one another, Riku reached into his bag; collecting the rack of ten shuriken resting inside, and placing five each on top of the created seals. Forming the necessary hand seal, Riku watched as they disappeared in a small poof of smoke.

Honestly Riku was surprised by the few shinobi that had taken to the art of fuinjutsu. The sheer possibilities it held were numerous and endless in their scope, something that was shared with genjutsu. And while he could agree that he wouldn't recommend anyone create seals in the midst of a confrontation, the last thing one should do is give a seal specialist time.
As his thoughts were occupied with his introspection on shinobi disciplines and their varying advantages, Riku finished writing a large version of the storage seal he had done on the tags; ensuring to recreate the means of having it release its content.

Riku had plans on making similar seals to store his supplies to create them or the very least, have the backups secured from the elements, while the others were readily available in the hip pouch; he made quick work of cedwriting the necessary seals in each, then used one for his sealing supplies, while the other would remain empty and stored in the second holster; as an after thought, placed his explosive tags in there with it.
