    Jutsu and Technique Training Rules
    Types of Techniques
There are primarily two types of techniques you can learn:
    • Canon Techniques: You can find Canon Techniques Here. Canon Techniques also include your Village Exclusive Techniques and Restricted Techniques/Enhanced States/Entities that can be found in the Restricted Rules.
    • Custom Techniques: These are Custom Techniques that either you create or someone else has created. You may only learn these if you have the Skill for it. If you created the technique, you'll need to learn it. You may also learn Custom Techniques with Open Secrecy.
*NOTE: Keep in mind, that you aren't capable of learning techniques of higher rank for Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu if you do not have the Skill. You cannot learn techniques of other Skills if you don't have the Skill.

    Ways to Learn Techniques
    • Roleplay Learning: You can roleplay learning a technique if you so desire. However, you will be forced to Roleplay Learning techniques. This is also the case if you are either learning from a sensei or if you are the sensei teaching.  The required word count is as follows:
Word Count for Learning Canon Techniques
Word Count for teaching Custom Techniques
      • E Rank Techniques: 50 Words per technique
      • D Rank Techniques: 100 Words per technique
      • C Rank Techniques: 150 Words per technique
      • B Rank Techniques: 200 Words per technique
      • A Rank Techniques: 250 Words per technique
      • S Rank Techniques: 300 Words per technique

      • Word Count for Learning Custom Techniques
      • E Rank Techniques: 100 Words per technique
      • D Rank Techniques: 150 Words per technique
      • C Rank Techniques: 200 Words per technique
      • B Rank Techniques: 250 Words per technique
      • A Rank Techniques: 300 Words per technique
      • S Rank Techniques: 350 Words per technique

    • Auto-Claim: You may auto-claim techniques that are 1 rank and lower below your current rank.

    Jutsu Rank Restrictions
This is under the assumption that you have, at least, D Rank Intelligence. You are capable of learning Techniques 1 Rank above your current Rank. (If you are C Rank, you can learn B Rank techniques).

If you have B Rank Intelligence, you can learn techniques +2 Ranks above your current Rank. (if you are C Rank, you can learn A Rank techniques).

If you have A Rank Intelligence, you can learn techniques +3 Ranks above your current Rank. (If you are C Rank, you can learn S Rank techniques).

If you have S Rank Intelligence, you can learn techniques +4 Ranks above your current Rank. (if you are D Rank (don't ask how you have S Rank INT at D Rank -- this is for the sake of demonstration) -- you can learn S Rank techniques).

If you have E Rank Intelligence, you can only learn techniques up to C Rank. You will need a Sensei to teach you techniques of B Rank and higher.

    Creating Strong Techniques
You are capable of creating Custom Techniques that you cannot learn yet. You can create them and you'll have to wait until you're capable of learning the technique to actually learn it.

    Using a Sensei
The Sensei is the one doing the teaching and the Student(s) is the one doing the learning and all senseis MUST have at least D Intelligence in order to be a Sensei. This can range anywhere from teaching a student(s) how to become a well-rounded person(s) or to teach your student(s) techniques.

    Student/Sensei EXP Bonus
When RPing in this capacity, both the student and the sensei receive a bonus +5 EXP only for posting rounds where the Sensei is teaching their student(s) anything -- regardless of if it's a technique or not. There just has to be some kind of teaching going on.

    Sensei Teaching Techniques
The Sensei is capable of teaching the Student techniques that both have the capacity to learn. Normally, the Sensei is capable of teaching a technique 1 rank higher than the student can normally learn. (If the Student is D Class, they can normally learn C Rank techniques. A teacher may teach them B Rank Techniques).

If the student has high intelligence (B or higher), they are capable of learning higher ranking techniques. Senseis can teach 1 rank higher than that.

To do this, both the Sensei and the Student must meet the WC requirement for that technique. However, in order to teach techniques of a higher rank than the student is capable of, the student must write 2x the WC requirement to learn this technique. The student and teacher gain an additional +5 EXP when teaching/learning these higher ranking techniques.

Students using Techniques higher than they can normally learn
These techniques that are learned that the student couldn't normally learn by rank or intelligence will also have some drawbacks. A D Class Genin with D Intelligence can normally learn up to C Rank techniques. But if a Sensei taught them a B Rank technique, they can use the B Rank technique.  However, if the student uses this B-Rank Technique, this technique WILL NOT receive any chakra reductions. Once the student can naturally learn this technique (via Class or Intelligence), the cost of this technique may be lowered as usual.

    Teaching Student with E Intelligence
Shinobi with E Intelligence will have a difficult time learning techniques on their own or even developing their own techniques. While they are still capable of limited writing, they are capable of drawing techniques to give the teacher (who must also be able to learn this technique) the ability to teach the student. Senseis are needed to teach shinobi with E Intelligence techniques of B Rank or higher and are needed to teach the shinobi any custom techniques that the Student wants to learn.

    Learning Village Exclusives
There are two ways to actually learning Village Exclusives
    • Given Permission: You are given permission from your Village's Kage (and anyone your Kage gives permission to teach these techniques to).
    • Without Permission: Someone who knows the technique can teach it to you. If someone has stolen an Exclusive Technique Scroll, they can learn it that way as well
