Training!

Burittsu found himself doing paperwork on this night nothing was disturbing his silence as he would look out occasionally out the window. With their population of people two different types of citizens and too many different types of warriors were in his village. A samurai protecting his leaf shinobi while it may seem like a permanent situation is the man who came from Kumo himself. Regardless, everyone who retreated from the attack upon their homes now had to make a wage to live in the land of waters. Many more things seemed to come his way lately; each is a new test and something new for each occurrence.

He was learning faster than he anticipated the seat had opened many opportunities he never sought or even knew was coming. Chuckling to himself as he filled out his paperwork stacking them to the side in the two piles one for denied and the other approved. Keeping his attention on his work until something unexpected occurred his day seemed to be starting off with a hint of mystery as a puff of smoke upon his desk. A tiny green toad with a white mohawk as its body was hidden with a gray robe as his bushy white eyebrows did the trick and caught the attention of Burittsu.

Burittsu didn’t seem to notice it fast enough since the creature got the jump on him. Studying the animal he wondered if this was a form of test or luck that he got to see such a beast up close in mere seconds the toad began its introduction. Surprising the shinobi a little as it began to speak, a very clear demand. The summon of Burittsu Yuki to a place only heard of by those who were chosen an honor had befallen upon him.

“You ready my boy? This trip is going to be one to remember.”

Since his seat had been made nothing but the world has been pestering him now for another chance, an adventure but also an interesting opportunity to see something different. Leaving the paperwork upon the desk Burittsu quickly opened up his office door and placed a label with the characters stating “Go home for the night”. In hopes of anyone reading it, go home and not bother asking so many questions depending if he was gone for the whole night or however many days it might come too. Yet he could only wonder why.

“Why me if I may ask?”

Yet with no proper answer the toad clapped both of its hands together taking himself and Burittsu away from the village. Not just his home but also the country was now nothing but in the distance as he would realize within the next couple moments. Opening his eyes to new strange land where the trees took a different shape and the world seemed more peaceful. Yet exotic as the land appeared to be, Burittsu knew this oasis was where he was needed currently. With the tall orange and green trees throughout the land he realized there were tiny homes around the landscape.

As he looked around lost in this new world he felt the quick tap upon his footwear once more, now getting a good look at the creature it would seem he was in his mid adult life. Yet talked to the shinobi earlier as if he lived longer then him which to Burittsu probably was case in the situation. The toad hopped away encouraging Burittsu to follow walking over what to him was a medium size bridge. Not made for humans no doubt as he nearly took all the room on said bridge, a tiny village out in the middle of wherever he was located currently.

It was basically a tour of the place as the roads minded their business continuing to do their daily labor whilst Burittsu was dragged deeper into their civilization and soon came to a stop. In front of another home made out of the plants in this land, a mushroom home, it seemed one where the toad entered for a mere moment before coming out with what seemed to be his companion. A female toad with the base color of purple and secondary color lime green sporting a black robe concealing the rest of its body similar to the other one. The two held hands as the one with the white hair began to speak to Burittsu as they knew he probably had questions that he wanted answered.

“Pleasure to meet you. This is Ma, my wife. You can call me Pa. First I brought you here to Mt. Myoboku using the reverse summoning technique. Now you’re here for an TV important training session. Follow us inside the great Sage will tell you the rest.”

Following the two toads up a flight of stairs leaving their home behind them entering what seemed to be a giant palace. With the designs of a remarkable mansion yet the entrance was a large mighty hole with the top of the building acting as its hat. Rushing in after the two before being left outside he entered the room quickly to realize inside was much larger then he suspected. Studying the large room where he saw a mighty throne and upon it was the largest creature he had set his eyes on. Since the attack of the two tails itself. The Sage as they called it seemed to be the elder of the whole community smiling yet his eyes remained shut. With a black tassel upon its head, a beaded necklace around its neck with the kanji standing for “oil” the brownish toad made its introduction.

“You’re finally here what took you so long. The one that I predicted to master these hardships has finally arrived. I know a great deal about you but I doubt you know me or any of us. You have already met Ma and Pa. I am Gamaru The Great Toad Sage. You’re here to start your training. Senjutsu can be dangerous. Once you start you must finish the training and take a seat Burittsu Yuki. You'll be here for as long as it takes you to master this or die.”

Burittsu was surprised to hear such a situation to the point he was stunned from the information yet looking upon their faces they all shared the same from one to another. A smile and some resolve as it seemed they’ve been waiting for the shinobi. Each is most likely holding their own expectation of the boy in hopes he either passes these trials or fails and they must find a new one. He remained standing before he was motioned to leave and begin his training out in the new world he was introduced to. Listening to the instructions given out Burittsu could only follow the demands of what seemed now to be his own pair of sensei’s.

Ready to pass on some form of art that only they knew about or maybe in his case a technique that was unknown to him. Removing his armor and leaving his belongings in their home Burittsu appeared only with black shorts and no shirt letting his brown skin feel the warmth of the sun beating upon his skin. He felt lighter and less constrained as the armor was off of his body after first buying it. Always keeping it on when he didn’t have to know it had seemed he was entering a place where the armor would only get in the way of the real training. Placing the shinobi in front of a waterfall where he was told to sit and await for further instructions as Pa himself appeared with a long black stick. Ma would be sitting in the distance watching the results for herself since it was a one person job. She didn’t mind seeing what the lad had to offer.

”The goal is to feel and harness senjutsu chakra, the natural energy around you coming from this planet itself. Listen closely Burittsu this will be you waging your life for a greater strength. Senjutsu chakra is the natural energy around us. You and I even Ma have the ability to draw in and harness access to senjutsu by infusing it with our physical and spiritual paths. In turn the natural chakra you draw within you is infused into your chakra creating senjutsu chakra.”

“This stick that I’m holding here will be used to rid of the extra amount of natural energy you draw in. Before you end up next to your new brothers. You must remain perfectly still, do not move and focus on practicing the method of drawing in natural energy. Too little nothing happens but too much you turn into one of us then turn to stone. Now that you know what you’re risking your life for as long as you listen to us you’ll be alright. Got it lad?”

Burittsu had understood every single word crossing his arms during the speech as he fixed his posture during the quick summary that ended up being the terms of what he was betting his life on. Remaining motionless and his only task was to draw in the natural energy around him, remaining still and being patient was the only thing he had to battle. Clearing his mind and remaining calm all he did was breath and began his practice of drawing in the natural energy around him remembering the rules of remaining motionless for three complete days. His training just started and yet a part of him missed the village already. Yet if the source of power wouldn’t be one for him to miss out on relaxing himself he began his training and practiced attaining such energy.

-Gathering Natural Energy For The Next Three Days!

After spending his full day not moving and remaining focused on absorbing the natural energy he treated the process with great care. As he mentally thought of himself absorbing chakra from Samehada applying that mentality to this moment. He continued to do as he was told before remaining still and focusing on absorbing what they called natural energy. Burittsu basically did nothing else taking his time through the method silently and patiently even the roads began to wonder if he would actually make it. Sitting down with his legs crossed and holding both his hands together he gathered up natural energy.

Day two of his training Burittsu has felt the hospitality of his host with bruises all over his skin today even in doing nothing. He found something that needed to be worked on, nearly turning into a road fifteen times he had to learn that balancing the amount of energy pulled and is still pulling in. Upon his skin the training was nothing but endurance to see how long he could keep up at bringing in the right amount of energy. His body felt the soreness of the repetition that has to be done whenever he absorbed too much energy. Pa appeared a little tired but still waiting for the boy to slip up as Ma sat in the background with what appeared to be food.

Eating her lunch while she watches over the training, enjoying her day and hoping the boy wouldn’t die from a hit delivered by the stick instead of another option. Training was simple yet the fact he was basing his life on learning only gave his heart more blood and increased the excitement he had for such lessons. Remaining motionless as he only accepted the pain that came with it, staying focused on the energy around him Burittsu could only ignore the pain. Focusing upon the source he was gathering from and slowly adapting to it only to fill his desire. As he was focusing his right hand began to transform into that of a toad before the stick itself would smack across the shoulder of Burittsu.

Reminding him he was pulling too much and needed him to let go so that his body and mind wouldn’t be altered. Ma could only be seen making a certain face of regret every time the boy got hit yet the training was sufficient to keep him focused. As Burittsu released what he had thought was a good amount of energy and lowered it, continuing to pull the natural energy in but not as much as he had before. Keeping his body and mind clear of any transformations Ma and Pa could only watch without saying a word to him allowing him to truly focus and feel the power that was being given to him.

Day two completed

The third day of his training everything went normal and well on his final day of being motionless completely focused on the process. Taking in the natural energy around him as if it was air pouring into his lungs each breath. Blending his chakra and that of energy around him making them one over the past three days he has been working his mental health to improve and understand such a process. His eyes remained shut taking it all in as he even started to feel the energy around him growing sensitivity to it as if it was that of normal chakra. Yet not coming from anything else but the environment around him he realized himself this would be a unique source of power.

One that he could call on when his back was against the wall in hopes of becoming the shinobi that the toads and his village could now rely on. As the markings began to show on his face Burittsu didn’t give into what he was feeling throughout his body. Continuing to manage and take his time he funneled the chakra and natural energy giving them a chance to blend. As he also gave his body more time to become accustomed to such power from the world. Burittsu could only inhale and exhale, gathering his breath and taking his time as the days seemed to fly past him he continued on until his final day would arrive. Ma and Pa could only sit back ready to beat out the extra energy he would receive if he pushed past his limits.

His final day was upon him as Burittsu spent the past three days learning to harness the natural energy around him slowly making it his own. As Burittsu focused he began to grow black lining around his eyelids that branched out with sharp edges going down his cheek bone. New markings to him but to his teachers that was a sign of growth that the shinobi was now showing. A unique feature to the face of Burittsu yet the boy didn’t move, remaining motionless waiting till he heard the reactions from the two. Continuing to absorb the energy, Burittsu slowly in front of his teachers began to enter Sage mode. The sound silence was all he needed as he felt the course of power now running through his veins making him feel the difference of the two strengths he held. One was just himself as the other was applied from Mother Nature giving him more breath as he felt in tune with his surroundings. Ma and Pa could tell from the presence alone that he had finally completed his training making him now a different shinobi from before. Opening his eyes slowly his pupils have changed to that belonging to the amphibians having their eyes and with some extra abilities behind them. Ma and Pa were nothing but smiles clearly showing their support yet we’re still astonished. Burittsu had now acquired a new stage to learn and improve upon his situation before studying their faces and cracking a little smile. He uncrossed his legs and stood upon where he sat for the past three days and nights. No food or water yet he felt good about himself feeling the new sensation that was running through his body.




Burittsu took their reactions with nothing but a blessing as they didn’t tell him anything but only gave out a proud smile across each of their faces. Pa and Ma could only think of the great things to come from such a prominent student. Before reaching out to the boy to have him follow them back, releasing his Sage mode and coming back to their house to retrieve the gear he left behind. After making the trip back to their cozy home Burittsu found himself once more placing armor upon himself and retaining his weapons. He realized after being in the home the eyes of the outside world continued to burn looking straight at him; it was the inhabitants of the village.

Each sensing the presence of the male since he was summoned now they continue to watch him and study him. Once done he was shown out the door where Ma and Pa leaped up the path back towards what he would be the elder of the whole village. The original toad Sage himself who had seemed ready to continue on with whatever he had in store for the boy. With a toad he had never seen bigger than him by size yet not as big as the Sage itself. Yellow was its base skin tone as black stripes patterned themselves from down his back up to his forehead. Upon its back was a large scroll that at the moment remained unopened. With nothing to say Burittsu only sat down in silence before the toad used its tongue to deliver its objective.

Granting Burittsu access to the scroll, rolling it upon the ground a couple of meters before Burittsu allowing it to open up. It was a contract one that was different from what he saw from one other actually presented to him. This one was for the mighty creatures who taught him what he knew at the very moment he was done training. Laughing a little bit Burittsu could only agree with one action biting into his thumb allowing the blood to flow freely. He pressed his blood and thumb upon an empty box under the summoning that was on the scroll before the scroll retracted itself sealing up quickly. As if soon found itself upon the back of its guardian once more it had seemed he was now adopted by his new friends.

Learning their secrets and growing closer wasn’t in his plan yet he could only rejoice and smile before standing up with the same reaction the toads gave out a loud croaking noise. Inducting him into the family as he was shocked but humbled bowing his head to everyone who was present before leaving. Burittsu could only smile in his armor as Pa and Ma leaped upon his shoulder with Pa clapping his hands quickly traveling them back into the office of Kirigakure as the paperwork themselves stacked up from his desk and also his floor. The couple leaped off his shoulders and onto the paperwork before eyeing Burittsu giving him a true study. Watching him and hoping he would only grow continuously after his days of training he had to be brought back home to preserve his people.

The training would be left to him to improve himself and his newfound talent. The two looked happy and confident to leave without parting words knowing this won’t be the first time they will deal with this shinobi. As Burittsu could only bow to his two sensei before allowing them to leave and go back to their home. Giving them each something to smile about as the sight of clouds and the small explosion knocked over the paperwork from the desk to the floor. Sending them off with nothing but hope in their hearts, Burittsu picked up the fallen paperwork, sorting them back onto his desk.

Heading out to his office door he removed the sticker that was placed on it three days ago leaving the door as it was before his departure. Now finding himself in a quiet office drained a little bit and exhausted from the constant training. Yet he wasn’t thirsty or hungry; only the thrill of growing stronger had him making his way back behind the desk. Filling out more paperwork and continuing what he left off Burittsu could only take his time and that was to catch up on the village and their recent adventures for the past three days. Chuckling at the paperwork and the recent request that sat upon his desk waiting for him, Burittsu could only enjoy himself being back home.
