History has its Eyes on You

For the past week or so, Diana had spent her time in Konohagakure, the home of those who conquered her land of birth twice. It had been nice, spending time with Hanabi and by proxy Anzo, but she only had so much time before she had to return to her own village, and she had yet to encounter Kimiko Uchiha. Still, ever since looking through Hanabi's memories, Diana needed a day to process all of what she saw. It was a lot to take in, and even now the thought of having to talk to Kimiko, the very woman who turned the tide in the Battle of Mejing. If her intuition was correct, she likely had a 'Mangekyo' Sharingan, perhaps an even stronger one if she had taken another Uchiha's Eyes like Satomi supposedly had with Nuguyen's Dojutsu; she really couldn't risk believing Kimiko wouldn't pull something along those lines to get more power after what she had claimed Nyguyen had done to her and her beloved.

"May the Sage give me strength for this meeting and the patience of the kami to the both of us."

Diana had made her way to the Naka shrine both to give respect to the dead alongside using it as a meeting place for her and Kimiko to talk, her Negative Emotion & Chakra Sensory skills active the entire time she made her way to the shrine. Perhaps it was foolish, but all dead deserved some respect in her opinion; be they an ally, enemy, or even the Indaina Kujira. Then again she was probably one of the few people who could directly connect to the pure land in some form. Yet if the memory was correct, Kimiko didn't see eye to eye with her on that, not that Diana could blame her. Diana didn't have anyone close to her die; her parents having retired and Diana herself not having a lover.

The Tsuchikage took another deep breath as she waited below the Tori Gate right in front of the shrine itself; hopefully Kimiko wouldn't have her sharingan immediately active, let alone the many, many other jutsu or tools she likely had on hand. She was sure the Clan Head would be suspicious, but that was to be expected. After all, why wouldn't she be?

Anzo groans softly as he's awoken by the tripwires of Kikaichu he'd set in Hanabi's apartment went off like an alarm buzzing throughout the entirety of his body; Diana had left the guest bedroom. Anzo had ended up becoming less and less comfortable and even less trusting of Diana, but he had kept these thoughts and feelings deeply buried beneath his feelings of excitement by thinking of Hanabi; that had been easy enough, since he was crashing at her apartment while Diana was in her guest bedroom. Hanabi had objected at first, but Anzo was quite insistent; he'd never trusted the Tsuchikage anyway, so his emotions would not have changed enough to notice. He just didn't want his distrust to show on his face, so he had kept them below the surface with other thoughts. It was a trick he'd learned well among the poker-faced Aburame.

Once Diana is out of the apartment proper, Anzo raises up rapidly from the couch, having stayed dressed as he watches her from the window while she leaves; she had only ever left the Uchiha compound when she had left the apartment previously, but now she was walking further into the Uchiha Clan Compound. He'd waited until some change in her usual schedule, and here it was. Humans were even more simple than insects, they simply thought themselves smarter; humans were simply the same creatures of pattern as any other mammal.

He knocks on Hanabi's door, finding her in a bikini that she had apparently been sleeping in. He grabs up her swords and shoves them to her, then grabs her hand and runs. He had stopped only long enough to make sure Hanabi got her shoes on before he tells her they need to rush to the clan leader's office. Hanabi points in the general direction, giving Anzo an idea that the office was the tallest point in the clan compound, but Anzo shakes his head, rapidly explaining that he needs an escort or the Uchiha clan leader is gonna take his head off. He leads her out again, despite her being his "escort" there. The entire way, he describes the conversation he had with his Kikaichu regarding the night they'd met the Tsuchikage.

Having explained the likely situation with Hanabi, Anzo is letting her escort him through the Uchiha compound, taking the most direct route to the clan leader's office to reach Kimiko before she sets off for the meeting with Diana; while they didn't know the meeting was taking place, Anzo remembered that she had been planning to meet with Kimiko herself, and so her office was the best place to either catch Diana or catch Kimiko Uchiha. Anzo was moving surprisingly quick, running to the clan leader's office while he explains the situation to Hanabi.

"-and the Kikaichu felt her chakra on my body not once, but twice. She definitely took more memories than I had given her permission for, so that's why I have to speak to-"

His voice gets louder for the clan leader's office as Anzo approaches her door, before he hastily opens her door and quickly stands aside with his A-rank Coordination to let Kimiko see Hanabi as well, so she knows he was provided an Uchiha escort. If there's anything the Aburame understand, it's the need for protection from having a clan's secrets stolen, so it made sense he would bring an Uchiha escort.

"Milady Uchiha Kimiko, an urgent matter before you begin your meeting with Lady Diana. We have reason to believe that she has stolen a clan's Hiden techniques and secrets, specifically those of the Aburame. For fear of her possibly extrapolating the ability to produce the Rinkaichu herself, I humbly request as clan leader of the Aburame and a fellow ninja of Konohagakure that you hear my plea: remove the secrets from Lady Diana's head for the safety of Konoha."

As he speaks, Anzo drops to one knee and bows far down, showing his obeisance to the Jounin Commander of Konoha and the leader of the strongest clan in Konoha, as is appropriate for her station and status.

Anzo's yellow sunglasses nearly fall from his face, his already spiky blond hair looking somehow more messy than normal, but at least his red leather longcoat is fully buttoned, hiding most of his body from the middle of his face down to his ankles. He's still breathing a bit heavy from the run, but he had to catch up with her as soon as he could.

With Hanabi previously sleeping in what seemed to be a Bikini, she was abruptly woken up by Anzo who seemed to pick her up from the bed and shove her swords to her, her eyes blinking quickly, confused as to what was going on. She knew she was sleeping but she didn’t want to be woken up this abruptly.

Oi! What are you doing! I was sleeping, you can’t just barge into here!

She puts her shoes on and guides Anzo through the compound. While walking out of her home, Hanabi sealed her two swords into her hands, one in each, opening and closing her hand and then shaking the feeling off.

While Hanabi escorted Anzo, pointing in directions they should go, she had been listening to Anzo rant on about the potentially stolen Hiden of the Aburame, her eyebrows raising. With her becoming a Special Jounin, she felt inclined to help out and feel as though she could persuade or have some authority. As weeks passed, her attire had changed, especially her body. Hanabi sported a Bathing suit top, a black and red cropped zip up jacket with shorts and boots. Along her body, in the cleavage part, a seal was placed on there, representing a Diamond and some kanji that wrote out ‘Seal’ with a line traveling down in between the breasts and a Diamond forming around her belly button. On the palms of her hands, she sported two black Diamond as well, also seals.

I get what you’re saying but we can’t just barge in like this. I mean, what if she hadn’t stolen anything and your bugs just doesn’t trust—

Hanabi was cut off as they entered the room, Anzo quickly side stepping and Hanabi sighing, placing a hand on her hip. Anzo would introduce himself and the reasoning and Hanabi would now her head slightly.

She would say, greeting the leader. Hanabi didn’t care much for Uchiha politics nor respect within the clan however Kimiko had proven herself, so she was inclined to give a bit more respect. After all, she was grateful to her. Her eyes widened and she’d turn to Anzo, getting ready to smack him upside the head.

ANZO! There is a order of dealing with these things. A knife to the throat isn’t the way to go!

Hanabi was really against Anzo’s request but as someone who could possibly sympathize with his plea, she couldn’t help but understand him. She’d cross her arms and sigh, closing her eyes for a brief moment and then looking to the two.

Why can’t I have a regular day…

Diana continued to wait alone below the tori gate of the Naka Shrine when she felt her LinkPearl 2.0 go off, the signal booster from her Tombstone Royal likely boosting the signal. Noting that no one was within her sensory range, she'd tap the crystal before speaking.

"Ruby speaking, who is this?"

"This is Titan speaking Ruby. I apologize for using the emergency line, but you are required so that Shigo Kazehana will be able to use the Nine Tailed Beasts; over."

Diana sighed as she pondered Titania's words. She wasn't wrong, but the fact that she had yet to hear from Kimiko was getting tiresome. Maybe...she could just pop out and back in a flash? That way Shigo could train getting used to the chakra while she was gone. "...Understood. Ruby out."

Deactivating the Linkpearl, she'd preform the tiger sign and make a clone, the clone speaking back to Diana in an attentive stance, their vocal tempo respectful, if a little fast.

"Greetings. If you are Kimiko Uchiha, I hope this reaches you in a timely manner; if not, please deliver this to Kimiko as soon as possible. I apologize for not being here, but my duty to Iwagakure as Tsuchikage requires me to step away for a short while. Rest assured, I will return as I wish to learn why Nanadaime Hokage Nyguyen Uchiha felt it necessary to not only start a war with my nation, but then impose the Farfour Accords instead of incorporating it into Konohagakure's jurisdiction. His actions do not make sense to me, hence why I requested an audience with you so I may request to inspect the deceased's memories."

"In addition, I also plan to return back to Konoha to address loose ends regarding my time with Anzo Aburame and Hanabi Uchiha. If I do not return in a timely manner, please let Anzo know that my initial assumption of the memory he gave me permission to look at was incorrect, and that I do indeed owe him one of my own clan's jutsu. As for Hanabi, please let her know that she was indeed a great host and that I look forward to see if the Legend of Seimei is indeed true."

"With that, I wish you well, and may the Sage watch over you."

Dispelling the clone the moment the message was spoken, Diana would activate her dojutsu, make a Blast Receiver & a softball-sized sphere crystal right after with the memory of her looking at her clone that just recited the message to Kimiko. The crystal, while a sphere, had a slight deformity so that it would hold onto the blast receiver. She'd then simultaneously use mayfly to sink into the ground as she stabbed the 2m long receiver into the ground to stand upright, the memory crystal on top.

Once she was in the ground, all that remained was the makeshift crystal staff in the middle of the Tori gate as she made her way to Iwa to deal with this quick diversion.
