Razor's Edge (Hanabi)

Arriving at the Grand Konoha Training Facility with Masae in tow Peragus would move to the elevator and take it up to the second floor from the top. It was his preferred training ground as many tended to not end up so high. Preferring to rise floor by floor to find a decent training space for themselves until they found enough space unoccupied. He generally preferred to go higher and toward the back. Those who had trained there with him tended to know that habit of his and so he never had to look hard. Using his Byakugan to scan the floors he would note he was the first to arrive. He wore his hoodie and pants and simple combat boots. The usual, of course his blindfold was on and as he and Masae arrived at the end of the facility furthest from the elevator he would turn and lean against a tree, resting the back of his head against it.

Masae for her part would begin to move through kata’s with her sword. The Kusanagi no Tsurugi was a legendary blade and she wanted to do it justice. Peragus of course watched her form with his eyes. Waiting patiently for Hanabi to arrive. After a few moments of comfortable silence between Masae and himself the dark haired woman would speak up. “Lord Peragus, if I may..I would request the chance to be the one to practice with your friend.” Peragus would turn his head toward Masae and shrug. “So long as Hanabi is willing then I don’t mind Masae, the point is to work out the weapons she has now after all. She doesn’t necessarily need to do that with me.” He would say before quietly going back to the contemplation he had been working on before.

How did he feel about Hanabi?

He could pinpoint and define the reasons for his gifts to Airi and Ayame. However his reasons for bringing Hanabi one seemed lacking for some reason. The swords suited her of course, but it was something beyond that. He frowned in consideration as he worked through his thoughts. Quietly as he did he would take off his hoodie, freeing up his arms. Beneath he wore a black sleeveless shirt that emphasized his arms although he never noticed. They had begun to fill out, actually gaining a respectable amount of musculature now. He hung his hoodie on a nearby tree branch and then squatted down, leaning his back against the tree as he considered his emotions.

Hanabi would arrive shortly after, wearing a sleeveless hoodie and sweats, wearing the two swords that Peragus had gifted her along her back. The elevator would ding and there she would see the two of them conversating, appearing from behind and placing both hands on their shoulders. “I don’t see why not.” She said, giving a cheeky grin. Her hands would slide down their backs softly and she’d stand next to them, placing the swords on the ground and taking the hoodie off, revealing a black sports bra and leaving her sweats and combat boots on.


Hanabi wasn’t necessarily fit but she didn’t not have a bit of abs. To Masae, this would be the first time that she’d see the scars all over her body, accentuating her body, some lighter than her dark skin tone and some just more red. Hanabi grabbed the swords and took them out of their sheathes, feeling a surge of power and wind come from nowhere, a feint green glow showing in her pupils before it died out. “These are very nice… not my color but nice indeed..” she’d chuckle, joking about the color scheme as green was never her color. Her eyes glanced to Masae, seeing as though if she were to stare at her, she’d cock her head a bit and question her. “Something wrong?” She’d ask, her eyes going between Peragus and the woman.


Deep down, Hanabi felt a bit jealous with this new woman around yet she knew she couldn’t. Peragus didn’t want Hanabi as far as she knew but she wanted him, more than anything. Her eyes would roll a bit before shrugging it off and turning around, the serpent like burn more visible with this sports bra. It was still pink but it had faded after some time, Hanabi’s head turning a bit as she turned her body to look at Peragus, now stopping about 10 meters away from the two. “Hey Pera, think you can take a look at my burn? I think it might need another process of ointment.” She’d say, smiling innocently. Hanabi was genuinely asking if he could help her with it, as the last time, he did make it feel good. It felt nice to be treated with such care and so she thought he wouldn’t mind with her asking again.

Masae would flinch at the touch of the woman, visibly moving away from the touch as she stepped aside. Peragus would raise an eyebrow at the platinum haired woman as she touched him and a ghost of a smile would appear on his features. Masae simply had issues with being touched, especially after the incident that Peragus had saved her from. The memory of the individuals that had managed to capture her by threatening the children they had kidnapped. The knowledge of what they had almost done to her. Had simply made her uncomfortable with being touched in general. Peragus understood that, but Hanabi couldn’t. Not yet at any rate, he would probably need to explain it to her later.

He grinned as she toyed with her swords a bit and Masae quietly drew her own weapon. A longsword of similar quality to Hanabi’s own new blades. The Kusanagi no Tsurugi was an incredible weapon that could extend dramatically and be controlled by the will of the user too. Masae was quiet though, content in her halter style black dress and gold hair ornaments. Her red eyes took in the appearance of Hanabi and she simply said nothing, holding the Kusanagi in a ready stance, prepared to attack or defend as necessary. Peragus’ eyes of course were on Hanabi, she drew his attention any time she was around and he felt a yearning for her that he always filed away under ‘sexual’. But considered it carefully now, almost frowning in thought. At her words he would blink once or twice as she asked him about possibly looking at her burn again. The innocent smile would hint at something different perhaps but the question in general caught him off guard. “U-uh, sure, we can head back to the Hyuuga Compound after this.” He would agree, his eyebrows rising in surprise.

His brows would furrow in contemplation though as he tried to figure out where his feelings lay. Masae would wait for Hanabi to be prepared. Quietly waiting for the woman to begin, the point was for her to try out her new swords after all. As such Masae was perfectly willing to let her start things off.

Hanabi’s eyes would fall on Masae after Peragus’s response. Though her eyes would land back on Peragus, seeing a feint smile and his eyes lay on her. Her face would turn a slight red but it would die down with a focus to try the new swords out. It didn’t help that the shirt he wore was skin tight and accentuated his body, showing off that he had gained a bit of strength. She’d clear her throat and continue to go about the spar. “Let’s see..” She’d glance down at the swords, feeling that same surge of power, specifically drawn to the element of wind. It was calling to her, like it was a sign. Without much thought, a cyclone of wind would appear towards Masae, at B tier speeds, Hanabi unaware of how Masae did in battle, she would panic, not knowing exactly what she did. “W-wait!” She hadn’t performed any handseals yet but the thought about the jutsu was enough to set it off in the first place. The cyclone of petals were maneuver to Masae, with such strong winds that’s would knock anyone around. With the cyclone entrapping (if it did), Masae would experience cuts along her body from the wind like petals, almost razor sharp with how well they were formed. Hanabi would glance down at the swords, looking between them. Matter of fact, it felt as though she didn’t use that much chakra with them at all. It was a powerful jutsu yet it only took such a small fragment of her pool. Hanabi looked back up to Masae, whether if she took it or not, she’d genuinely be worried as the power had came from her out of nowhere. ‘Can these…?’ She’d turn the swords about, glancing at them, piecing it a bit together before looking to Peragus and giving an always shrug to him. Her body language screamed ‘help me’. As per her childhood, she wasn’t aware of much swords, let alone artifacts which would normally be known even by the simplest child. Hanabi had been sheltered so her knowledge about things were a bit behind.

Therefore, the user can increase the direction and power of the technique to the maximum as a last resort.

Peragus’ eyes were on the entire situation. That was easier than most of course given the visual range of his Byakugan eyes. However he could also see the chakra she utilized in that jutsu and the power within it. Frowning slightly as he considered he didn’t even need to worry about Masae, who simply sidestepped the petal twister with barely a raise of the eyebrow. What one would need to worry about was Masae’s reaction to seemingly having a single jutsu cast at her and then turning away. The woman was prideful, because she’d worked hard for her capabilities. However she held her blade, simply at the ready stance and Peragus smirked. The woman was willing to let Hanabi off with it once, for the sake of her confusion in regards to her weapon. But still, Peragus better warn her all the same.

“Well to start, it looks like the swords helped regulate the chakra you used and overall required the use of much less of it for the technique. I don’t know that jutsu though, but most tend to use hand seals, so it’s possible it channeled the chakra properly for it too. Without the need to utilize them.” He would begin, first responding to her questioning shrug. She was clearly confused and needed an answer. Next he would nod his head toward Masae. “Keep in mind though, that one doesn’t like it when people she’s ‘fighting’ disrespect her. You’re supposed to be sparring and practicing with your swords. Best to save questions and turning your eyes from the opponent after.” He would say with a grin. If Hanabi turned toward Masae should would see the woman with a grim, almost stoic expression on her face.

The dark haired woman would wait long enough for Hanabi to notice her before closing the distance, her sword flashing toward her. The style she was using was one Peragus had shared the scroll for, and it was vicious. Especially against someone like Hanabi, silently the Hyuuga waited for the girl to use her Sharingan and realize it would be little more than useless against that style. Still, for all his cavalier and jovial tone, he was still ready to move at a moments notice to protect either of them from a misstep on either’s part. He couldn’t do much about the swords themselves since if a mistake happened there they would be too close for him to intervene. However Masae was a master of the craft and knew she could handle that aspect.

Hanabi would sigh of relief with Masae stepping out of the way, exhaling roughly. She didn’t WANT to intentionally not accidentally hurt Masae but she was also unaware of who she was, let alone her abilities and what not. She’d raise a brow to Peragus, hearing him explain what he though and then glance back down to the swords. ‘It seems as though he could be right…’ She would think momentarily before jumping a bit from his voice, stating that Masae didn’t like to be disrespected. “Right.. Sorry about that.”


Hanabi would turn to Masae, holding both swords tightly, almost sweating from the amount of strength she put in to holding them. Her sharingan had been activated once she looked at the swords previously, seeing Masae jump towards her, watching her movements as they had shown clean and precise, easy to read. Hanabi would jump back but as she did, her body would float a bit, being surrounded by the wind cyclone, allowing her to fly a bit. Her eyes would flutter a few times before realizing she had been in the air for a few seconds, resulting in her to come crashing down from the short height that she was lifted  up to. Hanabi would grunt when hitting the ground and rub her behind. “Peragus, what the hell did you give me?!” She would call out, keeping an eye on Masae. She’d stand up and dust herself off, raising an eyebrow before sucking air through her teeth. ‘It’d be nice if I knew what these swords even were…’

Didn’t learn a move, however she did activate the innate ability that the swords come with. The ability to fly/travel with the wind cyclone it produces for the user.

Masae would allow the woman to escape the attack, letting her get the distance and seeing how she had been levitated off the ground by the swords caused the dark haired woman to raise her eyebrow in surprise. “So you can fly too?” she would ask before lifting off the ground without another word. Utilizing one of the jutsu Peragus had shown her while they traveled together. Masae would have far more speed in the air than Hanabi although her strength would be lessened as a result. Still, given it was making her and her stuff lighter her sword would be no heavier to her. She simply wouldn’t be able to put as much power behind the strikes.

With that the woman would come in, at maximum speed, coasting over the ground at A++ speed and giving a rather slow clash for her at only A++ speed as well. The woman could swing the weapon faster than Peragus could easily see unless he was focusing on her so he knew she was pulling the swing quite heavily. She was giving Hanabi time to block or counter, testing where the girl's limits were in regards to what Masae herself could do. Peragus knew Masae would slowly raise and lower the pressure to find where the girls combat level was and then match it. To give her a good enough spar to get some actual testing on her abilities done. Masae after all did not want to kill Hanabi, she simply wanted something to do.

Still, perhaps at some point a real demonstration would be necessary. The red eyes the girl displayed were the same as the man that killed her father after all. The exact same as had been described to her. Red eyes, with tomoe like markings within. That made her an ‘Uchiha’ and Masae hated them with a passion. She wouldn’t want to hurt Hanabi, but part of Masae wanted very much to demonstrate the real difference in their respective skill levels. For now though, she would hold back.  

Peragus for his part would shrug at Hanabi's cry before speaking. "A couple of swords." He would say, manifestly unhelpfully. He continued to lean against his tree watching everything with his byakugan and being ready to intervene if he needed to for some unfortunate reason.

Masae:

Hanabi raised an eyebrow to Masae’s comment about her being able to fly, as if Hanabi knew about it. “I can’t. It must be an ability these swords give me…” She muttered, almost annoyed that Masae assumed things about her. She would get herself up but glance at Masae once more, seeing her movements choppy almost, as if her sharingan couldn’t keep up. ‘The hell is this?!’ She would grunt while deactivating her Sharingan, placing both of her swords up and a cross, as quickly as possible to try and block the attack from Masae’s swords. As the swords clashed, sparks would fly as they fought for the strength between them, Hanabi making a ‘keh’ like noise from her mouth as she winced. These swords were definitely stronger than her other ones which made Hanabi happy. She would push her arms forward with C strength from the counter, pushing Masae back easily about 10ft away with the counter attack. “The hell you mean a couple of swords!”


Her head would turn to Peragus, her eyebrow twitching and quite annoyed now. Her small canine like fangs would bare towards Peragus, a sight he saw frequently in certain scenarios. Her eyes were normal and her head would quickly turn back to Masae, jumping back, keeping a good distance between the two. ‘She’s definitely holding back but even this is too much!’ She thought before twirling the swords in her hands, rearranging their positions and holding the short swords like daggers, getting into a proper stance, that seemed to fit an agile manner. Her feet would lift off to charge towards Masae, at A rank speeds.


From where Hanabi would be, if Masae were to come after her, she would slice her sword to make an after image, shoving one sword in the ground, dragging it with the speeds she used to dart, a line going down into the ground. She would twirl herself, beginning to balance herself upon the sword and use the momentum to kick towards Masae, hopefully in a successful land of this attack. Something about her irked Hanabi, whether if it was the unknown distrust of the Uchiha or what, something made her dislike her. Though she would hope to have it resolved by the end of this spar. Hanabi would land down on the ground, lightly placing her feet, as if wind was one with her, allowing her to be light on her feet. She would be breathing heavily, tired from the consecutive moves she made. “Break… please..”

Jutsu’s Used (450 total for Moon Light and secret sword):

That was the drawback of her technique for flight. It reduced the physical force she could put behind her attacks. Hanabi had either caught onto that, or realized she’d had no option but to defend with both swords as she had. When she pushed her away the woman flew back about five meters. Although she would cease flying, preferring instead the increased strength having the solid ground beneath her granted. Landing, and of course deactivating her flight technique, she would hold Kusanagi no Tsurugi at the ready, prepared to attack or defend. She would watch, emotionlessly as the girl commented at her master. Then jump back and keep some distance between them before rearranging the grip on her swords.

Then she would come at her at an impressive speed, Masae would close the distance too, the white haired woman cause an afterimage before stabbing one sword in the ground and trying to spin onto it and launch a kick at her. Masae would simply shift her sword and move the flat of the blade to catch the kick and push against the girl with her maximum strength. Knocking her back a distance. Her breathing was labored and heavy as she spoke, requesting a break in the fight. Masae however would simply lift a hand and a dark sphere of energy would form within the palm of her hand. Concentric rings would surround the orb as Masae spoke, her tone empty of emotion.

“Enemies won’t give you a break, push past your limits.”

Peragus’ brows would try to climb up past his hairline at that. The woman was not one who generally did this type of destructive thing. Not only that but that technique, the Spiraling Ring, had a destructive load that would destroy everything within 50m of the impact zone. He didn’t think Hanabi could defend against that. “That’s enough.” He would say simply, only Masae wouldn’t seem to hear him. The woman would cock back her arm to throw the sphere and then do so, releasing the jutsu. That would cause something in the Hyuuga to stir. Emotions he could never put a name to would suddenly crystallize. His desire to have her nearby, his desire to care for her, to protect her. The insecurity that same with wondering if he was worthy of her. The self doubt that he could be someone worthy of her emotions for him. All of it coalesced into something he had never really been ready to face and admit to.

Hanabi had been the first person to use the word ‘love’ in relation to him. No one before had done so, no family, no friends, no romantic interests. He had not been ready for it, had not been prepared to accept that someone could or would be inclined to do so. Had never been ready to entertain the idea that he could too. Now? Now that he could see Hanabi was in very real, very significant danger? He could not only entertain the notion, it screamed out to him. The fact that he himself felt that way, and did not want harm to come to the woman he felt that way toward.

When Hanabi had jumped back she had put herself closer to Peragus than Masae was, meaning he could close the distance easily and he did so. Appearing before Hanabi before the sphere could reach her and utilized his Great King Rotation. An improved version of the Rotation that kept the inner core of the technique hollow of chakra and reinforced the outer shell. Providing stronger defensive capabilities while allowing him to protect others with it. He spun, like a human whirlwind he spun and the chakra barrier formed from his efforts, encompassing both him and Hanabi within it’s shell. The Spiraling Ring would impact the shell and detonate, causing the world to turn bright around the shell. Masae would fly up, avoiding the detonation zone. Peragus could see that with his Byakugan as he spun and when the brilliant white light that surrounded them faded he would cease his spin. The ground beneath he and Hanabi for 30 meters would be fine, unmarred. The ground outside of that area for the remaining 20 meters would be like a sudden shelf had occurred, digging deep into the ground and causing a large trench around them.

Reaching up, he would remove the headband around his eyes, intent on Masae seeing his eyes in that moment and he tossed the headband aside. His eyes, chips of blue ice would glare up at the woman as if he would murder her. She flew, 60m in the air looking down at him, ashamed. His words arose from his throat at a normal volume, knowing that the woman would strain her hearing to listen to him. “Here, now.” He would say, pointing at the ground before him.” As she descended his vision would check to ensure Hanabi was fine, and as expected she was. Masae would land, her eyes downcast and her teeth biting her lower lip. “Look at me.” He would say again, immediately causing her to snap her eyes up to meet his. “Training, sparring, and trying to push the envelope a bit to encourage development and growth is one thing.” He would begin, his tone never changing. However on the next line his voice would gain an edge to it as he spoke. “But attempt to do so with a technique as lethal as that again, and try to use it on the woman I love again, and I’ll remove you from my service, permanently. Do I make myself clear?” He asked, causing Masae to swallow in nervous tension before nodding silently. “I will hear it from you.” He would say, his eyes never wavering. “I-I understand, Lord Peragus.” She would say, dropping her head into a bow at that point. Then he would turn away, to face Hanabi as he spoke. “Return to the compound, meditate, train your katas, I don’t care, but don’t let me see you until tomorrow morning.” He would say prompting the woman to nod and leave, collecting Kusanagi as she did.

Then he would stand before Hanabi, his eyes softening by degrees as he spoke. “I’m sorry, I didn’t think she would let her hatred of Uchiha get that far. I never meant for you to be in any danger.” He would say, moving to place a hand on her cheek if she allowed. “Masae’s father was killed by an Uchiha when he took over the Land of Tea years ago. She’s trained to try to kill the man in question ever since. However he was executed before she could make her own attempt. She’s hated the clan in place ever since.” He would begin to explain, caressing her cheek with his thumb if allowed. “When she swore her oath to me and explained her past I told her the Clan lived in the village and that she would have to let go of that anger. Or at least control it to serve me. She swore she would do so. However it seems it will take more than her word to ensure she follows through.” He would say, when he was finished his eyes would be downcast, sadness flowing into them. He had finally realized his own love for the woman that stood in front of him. However he wasn’t sure that he wasn’t too late already. He had hurt her badly in his ignorance of the emotion and fear of what it could entail.

Hanabi would look at Masae, her hands on her knees as she panted, her hair falling over her shoulders. When Masae’s hand raised, she would make a sharp inhale, gasping at the power of the jutsu that she had began forming. Her eyes widened, almost meeting with death for a number of times. Her life flashed, feeling that burdened feeling again, from what she felt as a child, all the way up until she had met Airi, Taco, and their Sensei, the Hokage. Hanabi would freeze in this moment, hearing Peragus’ voice say that it was enough. Yet the world slowed down to her, Masae’s arm slowly cocking back, their eyes meeting and remaining on each other. This woman had no emotion, almost as if she saw herself in Masae in this very moment towards something they both hated. The Uchiha. “M-Masae!” She would call out, her voice echoing in her head, her hand extending out to try and make something up to defelect. It was rendered useless, causing nothing to show, yet before Hanabi knew, Peragus was in front of her, deflecting this attack with a rotation that would engulf the both of them.


Her eyes would remain wide, the light of the attack meshing with the barrier, her eyes twinkling as the light bathed against her skin and colored iris’. The light outlined Peragus’ body, a man who had shown her unconditional love yet didn’t know what love was himself. He cared for her, hurt her, but yet still stuck around for her. He would protect her in a heart beat just as he did so why. Why did he do these things if he didn’t understand? She would continue to stare until the light faded, her hair flowing from the speed of the attack which gracefully fell against her body, her eyes no longer shimmering. And for once, when all was done, leaving the two just outside the massive crater, Peragus would take his headband off and toss it to the side, Hanabi panicking to grab the piece of cloth and catching it just in the Knick of time. He would order Masae down and in doing so, he’d turn to see if Hanabi was alright.


While Peragus inspected her, she would nod and confirm that there was no damage done to her, just exhaustion. Her warm eyes embraced his cold stare once again, yet this time, her heart would pound. Something… felt different. Hanabi would remain behind Peragus for the time being while he turned around to speak with Masae. Hearing his words, she would almost feel bad for Masae. Her eyes would move from the ground and up to Peragus, back and forth like a nervous child until one particular sentence was spoken.



What was that? Love? Wait.. no.. Say it again..


Again…

These words repeated in Hanabi’s mind, completely tuning the rest of their conversation out. Hanabi would be struck with awe, confusion, happiness… Every single emotion that was built up, released into one tiny squeak that she managed to get out as soon as Masae left. As Peragus began speaking again, it was towards her, her eyes moving up and down before meeting his eyes again, placing his gentle hand her cheek as he spoke. Her hand would hold his, her eyes never breaking contact, like a lost puppy finally reuniting with their owner. ‘Peragus…’ She would think for a moment. Her voice repeating his name, trying to speak out loud yet all she could do was listen to Masae’s story about her father, how she had no outlet now that the person she sought revenge on was dead. Hanabi’s eyes would tear up just a bit as his thumb began moving, caressing her cheek softly. “P…” She would make out the first letter of his name.

As he explained that Masae would need to control it and get it under control, her hand would caress his, still looking up to him. Her eyes would blink between large intervals, giving that doe like glare to him. “Peragus.. you.. love me..?” She would ask as she returned the caress, placing both her hands on his cheeks and moving her thumbs slowly. Whether he realized it or not, she would get on the tip of her toes and slowly pull him in if he allowed, placing her lips against his, passionately as her eyes finally closed, a few tears going down her cheeks, leaving a water mark. If he kissed back, she would wrap her arms around his neck, keeping him close, continuing her long and passionate kiss before letting go and opening her eyes to look at him.

Hanabi would look at him like the world did the moon. Up at him with eyes that seemed to catch the light of the building and glitter with a light all their own. He would explain Masae’s situation but he doubted she was even paying attention. Instead she was more focused on something else. It had yet to actually occur to Peragus what words he had used exactly. He knew only what he felt, and the feeling of the grip of fear that had wrapped hold around his heart as he had seen that technique be used against her in a sparring session. Her hand would cover his own hand against her cheek, the doe eyed look she was giving him causing his heart to pound within his chest.

Eventually Hanabi would get her question out, the quiet words causing him to freeze in surprise. How had she known? So quickly? He thought back to what he had said and his cheeks gained a bit of pink to them as he realized what he had said. He had meant it, but he hadn’t realized he had said it. As he thought she would place both her hands on his cheeks and rise to her tiptoes. He would realize what she was doing and bend to make the kiss easier and their lips would meet. Their eyes would close and their lips would meet in a passionate kiss. His hands would wrap around her waist as her arm went around his neck, neither wanting the other to leave the close embrace.

He felt the tears falling down her cheeks, tasted the tears as they slid down and mingled into their kiss. He felt his heart soar into the heavens, felt his very soul go with it as they kissed but eventually the kiss would need to end. When it did Hanabi would look up at him again, her eyes matching his as she asked the question again. This time with no stuttering. He smiled softly at her, and took a moment to collect himself before answering. Although he would not let go of his arms around her waist as he did. After a few moments he would speak. “Yes..I do love you Hana-chan. I’m sorry it took me so long to realize it..” He would say, sadness coloring his tone at the last. He had hurt her badly because of his blindness to it.

Hell he had even gone for a possible political marriage after his blindness. Which she had accepted, and then he had broken it off when he decided after she had that it would probably cause too much pain and heartache if he did not end up feeling the same way. Hurting her even more in the process. After a few moments he would calm down and make to lean his forehead against hers for a few minutes before speaking. “The way I see it we can continue training, only I take the part of Masae this time, without the losing my mind and trying to kill you part. Or we call it a day. We could even go ‘home’ if you like.” He would suggest, using the statement as an invitation for her to stay with him if she wished. Or she could decline and suggest something else. He had a lot of techniques he could show her, so she certainly had options.

Hanabi would exhale a laugh a few times, her mouth forming in a smile each time before going back to an initial shocked face. His hands around her waist, oh how she longed to feel it again. “And I.. I love you too.” Hanabi would look up to Peragus, seeing his sullen look, caressing his cheek with her thumb, as if to encourage him to lean into her hand. She would kiss him once more, placing a hand behind his head before breaking it once more, taking a step back but still within reach. Their foreheads would touch against each others and she’d close her eyes, smiling softly, her arms falling to his sides, her hands placed on his waist.

Theirs height difference prompted a bit of an awkward placement in hands however they had seen more of each other before. Her eyes would look up to his, laughing softly. “We can continue training but I don’t have much to do.. you can always try and train your things if you want. I can’t guarantee anything to be dodged.” Hanabi’s eyes would flutter a moment before pulling away  and rolling her amber eyes around before meeting his again. “Or maybe I can drive you a little crazy in other ways…” Her fingers would trail up his chest but stop and pull back, remembering that he wasn’t a PDA person. Her head would tilt, giving an innocent smile while a chain around her neck would shine. A familiar item would gleam to Peragus that remained on the necklace.

It was perfect, absolutely perfect. She didn’t even seem mad or sad about how long it had taken him. She still loved him too, he dove into the kiss she gave to him with a fervor of passion that had long been set aside. At her response to his question he would smile softly. He had some techniques to teach her, and so he wasn’t worried about that. However when she fluttered her eyes at him and rolled her honey colored eyes before meeting his gaze and brought up the idea of driving him crazy in ‘other’ ways his heart would pound. Her fingers would trail up his chest and he would inhale sharply in response. His eyes however would be drawn to the ring sitting upon a necklace at her neck and he would move for it, reaching for it slowly.

Holding it up he would bring it before her eyes. “One day, probably one day soon. I’ll take this ring from this chain and put it on your finger..For now though I don’t want to rush. This wouldn’t be a political marriage. I won’t put you through that, not after everything..But I want us both to be sure it’s what we want first.” He would say softly, before kissing the ring gingerly and setting it against her skin once more. Then he would rest his head upon hers once more, his Byakugan off so his ice blue eyes could meet hers of amber. It was looking into brilliant stones of topaz. His heart rate increased as he whispered, his words barely audible as he spoke. “I think we head back now..We can pick up training again tomorrow..” He would say, making to take her hand and leaving.

Hanabi looked at the ring and her face became flushed, filled with color, thinking about the ring and how it came up in the first place. It wasn’t the best decision or reasoning but Hanabi felt happy to be apart of something with Peragus. Her eyes would continue to look into his, hearing him speak about wanting to put the ring on her finger, yet on a time that they both would be ready for. She would smile, her eyes softly looking at him as he kissed the ring and laid it back against her chest.

His head would rest on hers, pulling away and looking back at her. He would whisper in her ear, causing her heart rate to increase, making her gulp and nodding. “Good idea.” She would chuckle before taking his hand and walking with him to the exit. On the way there, Hanabi would waist bump him playfully, giggling and looking up to him. A good day it was…

With the two returning to the training facility, Hanabi seemed to be a bit refreshed and more relaxed, twirling her swords around with her hair in a messy bun. She wore a similar outfit as before except they were shorts and a sports bra, similar to Airi’s clothing. Hanabi had been talking about her recent days to Peragus, laughing and smiling to him. It’s like nothing had happened between them and they were always together. Hanabi had also a few marks on her but nothing to be worried about essentially, as well as look a bit sore. She would occasionally wince with a few steps here and there, but she would eventually get over it. Some stares were given and some women did talk, asking about Peragus mainly and wondering if Hanabi was The Golden Flower. “Anyway- so Anzo ends up actually falling into the hot tub and Airi almost killed him! The disturbing part is that the perv got a glimpse of me.” She grunted as she rolled her eyes but laughed at it. Hanabi didn’t have an issue with Anzo but he was mainly a gentleman. She would include the elusive things that Airi and Hana did to try and lure Anzo out. “So, what techniques did you want to show me?”

He caught her up on what he had been up to while she had been catching him up too. He wore his usual attire, only his blindfold wasn’t the Konoha headband anymore. Instead it had a strange looking eye across the front of it and his Konoha headband was worn as an armband instead. He told her about the assassination of Raijin, and about his buying out of both the Land of Wood and the Land of Tea. “My plan is to approach Ayame of the Senju Clan to try to forge closer ties between the Hyuuga and Senju by gifting her with the Land of Wood and its artifacts. The Land of Tea is going to remain mine.” He would explain. As she explained the situation with Anzo the Hyuuga’s eye would twitch in mild annoyance.

Still, Hanabi had been single at the time. However it went beyond that, he had been trying to peak in the hot tub. Peragus himself avoided doing such things and he even had a free ticket to do so with his Byakugan. So the annoyance he felt at someone getting a peak at the woman that he had every intention of making his wife was definitely noticeable. “Tell me if you catch him peeking around the hot springs again. I’ll kill him, period.” He would say, the words simple and to the point. He wasn’t going to tolerate sexual harassment, of any kind. He’d cheerfully kill the perpetrator and face the consequences with a smile on his face.

On to the techniques though. Hanabi would ask about what he wanted to show her and he would nod in acceptance of the subject change. “First I teach you one you’ve seen already.” He would say as he lifted up a hand and channeled his chakra. “It’s all in the shape manipulation and density.” He would explain as the probably now familiar black sphere with a small planetary ring circling it appeared. It was the same technique that Masae had been going to use on her yesterday. He held it for Hanabi to see as he explained. “It’s called ‘Spiraling Ring’, give it a try.” He would say, letting her view the technique as much as she needed. He could hold it with no issue now that it had been formed. “Once you’ve got it formed, give it a toss, but make sure it clears fifty meters.” He would say, the jutsu had a good destructive range on it.

This attack can be devastating up close and has destructive explosion radius of 50 meters.

Hanabi’s eyes would remain on Peragus, a doe eyed look indeed. She was definitely admiring Peragus, no matter the distance. He had grown significantly and to hear his accomplishments made her even more proud of him. “Senju and Hyuuga, I see.” She would place her index and thumb on her chin and raise a brow. “That’s not a bad alliance within the village.. Are you attempting to be Hyuuga Clan Leader?” She’d ask with a sinister grin, clearly teasing Peragus unless he really wanted to be in which she would stop grinning and congratulate him. “It’s still a good alliance though.” She’d continue to smile until she could feel the annoyance coming off of Peragus.

Hanabi’s expression changed to a worrisome look, worried that Peragus would actually kill him. She couldn’t tell if this was hot or not and so her face would flush slightly, her hands going to play with her hair. “It was all a misunderstanding—“ She said, attempting to save Anzo’s ass. “He claims he was trying to find the men’s room but I think we were spooked about the bucket falling in the water. So we immediately thought about it behind him snooping.” She’d chuckle nervously, looking away. Hanabi genuinely liked Anzo, wanting to continue to be his friend but she knew, Peragus would kill him if he found out again.


Hanabi glanced to Peragus again, keeping a distance, as he showed off the move that Masae had originally used to go against Hanabi. As the ball of pure chakra would form, the winds around the mass would pick up, her hair flowing before Peragus had ended it; now prompting Hanabi to try. Hanabi would nod and take a few steps back before holding her hand out, Palm face upward and closing her eyes. She gave a deep exhale and focused all of her chakra into her hand, a few sparks of pure ninjutsu starting up. She would wince, pushing her chakra towards the palm of her hand, wanting to get this right. “Come on..” She’d inhale through her nose and exhale out her mouth, relaxing herself after a moment before trying again. The sparks would continue before the ball would form, winds coming around, swirling around from the mass that she had created. Her eyes opened, a soft overlay of purple shining onto her eyes from this large mass.


“Right..” She’d look up to Peragus and smile, turning her body and giving it a good ol chuck about 55 meters out, watching it go and demolishing whatever it landed on. The force of the impact would cause a gust of wind to come their way, taking Hanabi a bit back but jumping with glee. “I did it!”

At her question of whether or not he was attempting to become the head of the Hyuuga Clan he would shake his head in denial. Hanabi had of course been present when the response to his challenge had returned to him so she would know to ask. “No, I’ve decided against it. My place isn’t in leadership I feel, or at least not within the clan or village. I’m content with Jounin and intend to simply shepherd new shinobi into being. Also to go on Missions and fight when necessary of course.” He would explain

Her immediate defense of Anzo wouldn’t do much to dissuade Peragus. If he found the man snooping by the hot springs he would remove him. Probably permanently, but that was beside the point. He would let the topic drop without further comment. He was more focused on Hanabi anyway. He watched as she continued to practice the technique, pushing herself to get the chakra control necessary to do the work. Soon enough the ball would form. Ebon black with a circular ring around it. Then she would give the technique a toss and when it landed it would explode. Creating a massive crater. Peragus would nod his head in approval. He smiled broadly at her happiness at completing the jutsu and moved to pull her into a hug.

After a few moments though he would break that contact before nodding. “Don’t celebrate yet love, I’ve got quite a few more things for you to learn today too. Including a couple of things you’ll have to learn yourself because I don’t have the capability myself to use them.” He would say, reaching in and pulling out a scroll. “You will burn this after learning the techniques therein. One is called ‘Blade of Wind’ a powerful ninjutsu wind sword. I’ve copied it here for you. Included are also all of the Kumogakure sword techniques and a fire release sword technique for you to use as well.” He would say, passing her the scroll. “Put it away for now though, I’ll actually teach you techniques that I can right now.” He would say, smiling at her once more. “After that, how about a tidy little spar? Nothing serious, probably amount to a big game of keep away. But it’ll be good practice for your speed and ninjutsu usage.” He would suggest, before contemplating the sky a moment. “Theeeen…dinner..just you and me, we’ll make it a whole ‘to-do’.” He would say, turning to face her and waiting to hear her reaction.

Stuff:

The hug would shock Hanabi but she’d hug him back, right at that. When the hug would break, her eyes would look to him, her face blushing at the nickname Love. This was different but it also made her happy, though her happiness would turn to initial shock as he handed her a scroll. She was instructed to burn the scroll after learning the techniques within and she’d grab them and take a look within. All techniques that seemed to be powerful and devastating. “I see… They’re all powerful. Thank you. I appreciate it.” She’d close the scroll up and look back to him, going on her tip toes and kissing his cheek, whispering something fairly quickly. “Also, you don’t have to force yourself to do the things I love. Take your time with it.” She’d whisper before going back down to her regular height and placing the scroll in a sword holder loop.

Hearing him say he’ll teacher her some techniques now makes her heart flutter and she smiled bright. A game was brought up and she raised a brow, placing a hand on her hip and chuckling. “A fun game for speed and Ninjutsu.. alright, you’re on.” She’d laugh, watching him look to the sky, then speaking about a dinner with her. Her cheeks would flush up and she’d nod. “Sure…” Hanabi gave a smile to him but then clapped her hands together. “I’d like to try something.” She’d say really quick while undressing herself. Hanabi had put on a bathing suit like outfit under, much more revealing than usual. Her eyes would travel to Peragus and she’d wave him down to try and assure him. “Don’t worry, I’ll put the clothes back on but if I do this, I’ll need to continue to wear this for easy access. If you don’t mind.” She’d say while placing a hand over her cleavage and a bright light coming forth. A long sealing pattern would form on her cleavage, going all the way down to her belly. Which a Diamond would appear around her belly button. “There.” She’d touch the palm of each hand, placing two diamonds on each palm, forming two more seals. “I wanted to try this for some time. How does it look?” She’d ask, presenting her exposed body to Peragus.

Description: This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal ninja tools like swords or kunai into a scroll or their clothes beforehand, allowing them to be called upon when needed. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks" which can be drawn anywhere. The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced. Also when a weapon such as a fūma shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in its fully extended form beforehand. Furthermore, because the summoned ninja tools can remain hidden until right before they are used there are an exceptional number of possible tactics. One hundred ninja tools can be stored within each sealing mark, which can make the efficiency of this technique last longer. Five tools can be summons per unseal.
Weaknesses: Just like with any Fuuinjutsu, if the medium in which your seal is placed on is destroyed, everything stored within the seal is lost permanently.

Her words would bring a smile to his face and he would wrap an arm around her waist, moving to pull her close. “Well, since we have no one around I don’t mind nearly so much. My discomfort normally is simply because I’ve felt for years that clan members need to compose themselves with a certain amount of decorum when people are around…” He would say, his tone apologetic. “With no one around though, I don’t mind..” He would say, his tone trailing off in a manner that might imply he wouldn’t mind a lot of things so long as people weren’t around.

She would accept his idea of the game of cat and mouse and he would grin at her. She would also agree to the dinner, a dusting of pink across her cheeks telling him she quite liked the idea indeed. Then she would say she wanted to try something and begin to strip. Peragus’ eyes brows would raise before he saw the swimsuit beneath and she would comment that she would put the clothes back on but if she was going to test something she’d need them off for easier ‘access’. Now, Peragus’ mind couldn’t quite wrap his head around what she might be needing ‘easier access’ for that involved the removal of clothing that wasn’t something they would both be at home for. However when she started to apply Fuinjutsu script upon her chest that trailed down to her navel. A diamond would encircle it and she would put two more diamonds on each of her palms. Then turn to him and ask him how it looked.

“Like we’re about to go home..” He would say simply, although his tone would be clear that it was not because he was displeased. “Some new distraction method? Because it’ll probably work.” He would jest, raising an eyebrow as if to ask her to demonstrate what the sealing was for. After all, he couldn't judge something without knowing everything about it.

Hanabi raised a brow as he pulled her in by the waist, her outer arm moving up and placing a hand on his chest while her inner arm would wrap around him. Her eyes would look up to his face, grinning quite wide and trailing her fingers up his chest.

She would say while getting close to his lips to kiss him, her body pressing up against his but she would pull away and remove herself from his grasp, giving him a playful and cute wink. Hanabi knew what she was doing and she enjoyed any reaction from Peragus if it meant something other than a monotone or bland response. When she was finished with the application of the seals, she’d chuckle and look to Peragus, sticking her tongue out and then applying her swords into each palm, letting them sink within the seals, disappearing and never to be seen until she were to pull them out. Hanabi clapped her hands, touching each seal, her hands pulling apart with the swords coming out and her catching them as they were to fall out, making the swords easier to unsheathe as well as equip.

There. This should be easier for me to hide the swords as well as equip them and unequip whenever I need my hands free.

With that being said, her hands would suck the swords up again and she’d put the scroll within the seal that was placed on her cleavage, her chest bouncing a bit afterwards but not by much.

Her reaction to his answering of her question would bring a chuckle to his own lips. When she came close to kiss him though, her body pressing against his, he would begin to move to meet the kiss. However she would pull away at the last instant and writhe out of his grasp, moving away, winking playfully as she did. That would cause him to pout at her mockingly. He wasn’t really being serious with it. But it was fun to play a bit when she was in one of these teasing little moods. Besides, sometimes she felt bad and came and kissed him anyway.

Once she finished applying the seals she would chuckle at him and stick her tongue out at him. To which he would simply do so back, after all no rule said either of them had to be mature now did it? Then she would pull out the swords from her hands and then comment that it should make it easier for her to pull them out for combat now. Then she would store them again and store the scroll in the main seal on her chest. Her chest bounced a bit during that process and he looked on contentedly. “You know we really can just go home if you’d rather…” He would say, referring to his manse as both of their homes. It was now, and given her little attempts to tease him a bit it seemed only fair to bring her mind back to the idea.

Besides it might mess with her a bit, and that was always fun too.

“Or we can just continue working.” He would say laughing aloud before rolling his shoulder. Before lifting up his palm and holding it out, palm up. “Sharingan time.” He would say, then wait for her to activate the eyes of her heritage. Once she had he would begin to channel chakra. A massive amount of it, forming into another spiraling sphere. Although it would be a bit larger and with a second ring around it. “Great Spiraling Ring..” He would say, then however he would simply let it disperse. “We can’t throw it in here, it’s destructive range is too great. However with your Sharingan you should have an idea of how much chakra to use. When yours looks like mine did, simply disperse it and we’ll move on.” He would finish, nodding for her to try.

Weaknesses: Since the scale of this attack is so massive. There is a 5 post cooldown to use again.

Hanabi smiled softly to Peragus, chuckling at his suggestion of just going home. She would wave her index finger at him and shake her head.

With the simple flick of her hair, she’d close her eyes and activate her Sharingan before Peragus even suggested it, watching Peragus form the Spiraling Ring and smirking. Just like the old one? This should be easy, she’d think to herself. Following the same protocol as before, she’d watch the chakra form into his hand, forming that same purple orb of pure chakra, allowing it for spiral, becoming even more powerful, just like it’s name suggested. Hanabi would allow the chakra to flow through her arm, matching Peragus’ timing and flow, seeing it go through, the purple chakra starting to spark within her palm. Gusts of wind formed around the center of the mass; the chakra slowly building up, occasionally blowing up in size but in small increments. Her eyes would close momentarily, focusing on the form of the chakra control. It would finish growing, her hair flying from the sheer amount of pressure of chakra, her eyes glistening. She’d quickly close her hand and the jutsu would end, coming to a halt and disappearing as if nothing were to have formed.

Hanabi would ask, acting innocently like she hadn’t just easily learned such a hardcore jutsu. She would have a gleam of innocence in her eyes yet she almost looked scary with her three tomoe’s swirling and coming to a halt.

Peragus would nod in agreement with Hanabi’s sentiment of perhaps ‘later’ when it came to their extracurricular activities. Instead he would dive right into showing her the technique. Activating her Sharingan she would perform the technique quickly and he would nod at her question of ‘like that?’ “Yes, precisely like that, well done.” He would say, his smile at her genuine. She had learned it quickly but so had he after all. Learning techniques quickly was much easier for those who could see the chakra forming in the technique. So he expected her to learn it quickly. Next however it was time to move on to the next technique.

“The next one is a fun one. It’s called ‘The Pressure Points of Harm and Death’. Using it will increase your available chakra reserves by quite a bit for a time. Generally dependent on your physical constitution. The higher it is, the longer you can maintain the technique.” He would explain as he moved closer to her. He would reach out, and gently brush a finger across her skin, the touch soft and almost teasing. He would do so twice, at specific points. One at just about her sternum, and the other just above her navel. His blue eyes would look into hers as he smiled and then suddenly created distance. Teasing her back for her teasing of him.

“You’ll notice I just closed two tenketsu within your chakra system. Try to channel chakra and feel for that blockage. Each of those blocked points are a major junction within the chakra system. What you’re going to be trying to do with this technique is empowering those two junctions, increasing their output. You don’t need to touch them, just work to channel chakra properly into them. That’s the concept of the technique.”

He would say before approaching her again and touching the same two points, only this time without the teasing. He did after all have to open those tenketsu again for her to try. Then he would back away and, should her sharingan be on, activate the technique himself to give her more of a visual clue. Mind you he knew she could not see the chakra circulatory system as indepth as he could. To be specific, he knew she could not see the Tenketsu. However seeing how his overall system acted with the technique would hopefully help point her in the right direction.

Teaching Hanabi 'Pressure Points of Life and Death'

The Jutsu:

Hanabi would look to Peragus coming closer, seeing his hands raise to touch her sternum and just above her naval, a bright blush forming on her cheeks. "...." she'd gulp and look down, feeling her chakra stop for a moment. It felt blocked, as if her Chakra couldn't go forward and move with ease. Her eyes would look back up to see his, her blush growing more red. Peragus would go on to explain that he had just closed two tenketsu points of hers and to feel for that Chakra, while stepping back. Hanabi would look to him and nod, trying to push Chakra past the limit but to no avail, she couldn't.

Peragus would come back and unblock her points, feeling almost a weight off of her shoulders, feeling the Chakra resume it's pathways and moving a bit faster, as if circulation was coming back. She shook her arms a bit and rub them with her hands. "Didn't like that..." she'd mutter but still willingly do it to herself. Hanabi would begin channeling her chakra into the points, feeling the blockage from before, tugging and pulling at the tenketsu point. It would spread, as if a cool breeze would form on the point. Feeling her chakra release, feeling a better output, she would open her eyes and they would glow a bright white, looking to Peragus and around her. "I think.. I did it?"

Learned pressure points of life and death.

Peragus of course was his own sort of asshole, but it was, hopefully anyway, the kind people actually liked. He enjoyed Hanabi’s blushing nervousness of what he was doing. And his eyes watched carefully, monitoring her chakra system as she performed the technique he had taught her properly. Nodding his head in approval as he began to circle around her with slow steps. He had an idea for what was next. The next technique he could show her coming easily to mind. Hanabi was a seal user as well, he of course was too. As a matter of fact he had a technique he could and would use to get to her anytime she needed him. Of course that meant he needed to have a seal placed on her.

As he moved around behind her again outside of her field of view, he would step up behind her. Moving to wrap a single arm around her slim waist he would attempt to hold her against him. The other arm, his left arm, would reach up and his hand would lovingly, gently, cup over her left breast. Idly, he’d kiss the back of her neck as he channeled chakra and placed a Flying Thunder God seal upon her. The sealing formula appearing over her heart. Marking her as someone he could appear to at anytime and anywhere.

“That seal will allow me to come to you no matter what..” He would say quietly, his other arm still wrapped around her waist and holding her to him. After a moment of holding her to him he would let go, moving a step back and moving back to stand in front of her. “Now then, the next technique I can show you is a fuinjutsu one.” He would say before opening up another scroll and demonstrating the sealing formula upon it. "The Iron Armor seal was used to seal bijuu within people. Allowing you to entrap the creature and use it to turn someone into a living weapon. Or as a prison for the beast. Depending on how you look at it.” He would explain as he showed her the sealing formula after finishing it. “Give it a try.” He would say, passing her the scroll and the brush for her to write out the seal.

Description: Iron Armour Seal is the fūinjutsu used by Kumogakure to seal a Bijuu into a host. The seal itself takes the form of the kanji for "iron" (鉄, tetsu) and is usually printed somewhere on the jinchūriki's body.
Weaknesses: The Iron Armour Seal like any seal designed to contain Bijuu is impermanent and enough wear and tear will cause it to break as per the Bijuu sealing rules.
