Expanding One's Craft

Kiyoshi would smile as he returned home, excited to get started on some of his newer projects, but first he was going to warm up with something familiar to start his day. Grabbing the materials, Kiyoshi would begin working on a Stuffed Teddy bear. Since he inadvertently sold one to his sensei Neo, he was down to only thirteen and he would need more for his plan he had formulating for them.

Crafting:

It wouldn't take long for Kiyoshi to finish teddy bear number fourteen, for the second time, but that wasn't important. With the stuffed animal completed he would move on to another teddy bear to make a total of fifteen once he was finished with it. Grabbing the materials as he began crafting another stuffed animal, he couldn't help thinking to himself that he could do this in his sleep.

Crafting:

Throwing bear number fifteen into the pile with the others, Kiyoshi would begin on what he had set out to do today and begin crafting a weapon. He wasn't exactly trained in weapon crafting, but considering his training with puppet, he did possess some knowledge of it. It would be enough knowledge that he would be able to create basic weaponry, and this would set him on the path of creating a Fuuma Shuriken.

Crafting:

Kiyoshi would look at his newly formed Fuuma Shuriken with a wide grin on his face, it was the first weapon he crafted that wasn't attached to a puppet. Seeing the weapon now complete made him happy in his accomplishment, as well as ready for the next part. Of course, before he started on another weapon, he was going to make another Stuffed Animal. Adding to his collection of teddy bears was important, at least for what he had planned for them. It was almost as important as the weapons that he would be crafting as they both played important rolls.

Crafting:

Adding yet another stuffed animal to his collection, which now stood at sixteen teddy bears. Kiyoshi would grab the materials to make another stuffed animal, yet again repeating the process he has done so many times before. It was second nature at this point, and the speed at which they would be finished was slowly increasing. It was as if he was getting even faster in his crafting of them, if that was even possible. Kiyoshi would muse to himself as he worked on the teddy bear number seventeen, adding it to the pile with the others, once it was finished.

Crafting:

It was time for Kiyoshi to begin his work on the second weapon, of course it would be another Fuuma Shuriken just like the first weapon was. It wasn't about the type of weapon it was, it was about the process of creating the weapon itself. With a smile on his face he would grab the two units of iron as he began to craft it once more, the blades of the shuriken would be first, then he would move on to the ring before finally connecting them all together to create the fuuma shuriken as it was meant to be.

Crafting:

Kiyoshi would wipe the sweat from his forehead as he finished his second Fumma Shuriken, folding the blades together and setting it next to the first one he would then grab the materials to begin making yet another teddy bear. This one would be number eighteen in the long line of stuffed animals that he created, he was now so close to completing his goal, just a few more to go.

Crafting:

Kiyoshi would let out a small laugh after finishing number eighteen and grabbing the materials to begin number nineteen, he was so close only one more after this one to go. He would make the plastic eyes and ears of the teddy bear number nineteen before beginning to shape the polymer to make the teddy bear as he had done with all the others before it and the one he would do after it.

Crafting:

The stuffed animal, teddy bear number nineteen done, Kiyoshi would add it to the pile with the rest. He would soon make the final teddy bear for this collection, but first it was time for him to try his hand at another weapon craft. It would be the same this time as it has been the last few times, another Fuuma Shuriken. He knew he needed to try his hand in other crafts, but for now the Fuuma shuriken were as good a choice as any for him to make.

Crafting:

Kiyoshi would set the third Fuuma Shuriken down next to the other two as he would grab the materials for the final stuffed animal that he would be making, the twentieth teddy bear. This was all to serve a purpose, but for now he would focus on the creation of the bear itself. The plastic eyes and nose, the cotton stuffing and the polymer fur all perfect in place as he worked.

Crafting:

Kiyoshi would set teddy bear number twenty down with the other nineteen teddy bears he had created, for now they would remain in the corner of his studio apartment, but eventually he would take them for his work. Now he would take a single unit of wood and begin working on two deck of playing cards. He already had two decks but that didn't mean he wouldn't need more in the future. He could sell them or just keep them for himself it really wouldn't matter in the long run just keeping his hands busy was the important thing right now.

Crafting:

Setting the two decks of cards on the end of his worktable Kiyoshi would grab the two units of iron he would need to make another Fuuma Shuriken, most would not care to have so many of the same weapon but there was little else that he really needed at this point. Besides, they were not all necessarily for himself either, he could easily give them to his sensei and teammates that were stronger and would have use for the shuriken. Or using them to simply be getting his brand out there and selling or giving them away, either way he needed to make a name for himself.

Crafting:

With his fourth Fuuma Shuriken done, Kiyoshi would set it down with excitement as he grabbed the materials to begin making the fifth and final fuuma shuriken. He would not take a break between the crafting of the weapons as he had been, the excitement of finishing his work had become too great for him to contain. Now in a hurry to finish his work he would begin working on the first of the blades for the final large shuriken.

Using UA to craft C-Rank Item in D-Rank time: 1 day/3 posts

Crafting:

The sweat would begin to glisten on his forehead as he worked, hammering away at the iron as he began forcing the metal to take shape. One by one the blades would begin to take form and he would smile as he worked it, slowly shaping the metal with each pounding of his hammer, before sharpening it on a grinding stone to ensure that it was sharp enough to cut like it need to be able to.

Kiyoshi would begin working on the ring that would hold the four blades of shuriken to each other allowing for the folding and collapsing of the blades for storage. Once that was done it was time for him to actually attach the blades to the ring as he had four times before, this was the final step in this stage of his weapon crafting and now it was time for him to get some rest.
