ROSES ARE RED
'Serpent, dragon, bird, and tiger,' she thought to herself upon watching his handseals moving. Thankfully, they were intentionally slowed down for the sake of demonstration. Her eyes lit up as she saw the ball of glowing light. She had techniques similar to that which created a ball of electricity, however, the arcing of electricity was new to her. She continued to observe and listen to Tengoku's voice as her eyes were fixated upon the jutsu, itself. He spoke of mercy and when to spare a life. That was the antithesis to what she had experienced. Sparing a life almost got Ren severely injured and she wouldn't risk any of that ever again. Though, she did almost make a huge mistake in regards to Hanabi not too long ago, so she might have to heed that warning for those she felt a close bond to.
As she continued to watch the ball launch straight up into the sky, she stared at it as it threw itself skyward and storm clouds began to form. A big grin crept across her face as the skies began to darken. Her eyes widen and her smile broadened at the sight of the localized thunderstorm just above her. Yes, this will do just nicely. The look of anticipation quickly turned into dread as Airi would see a strange creature appear in the clouds -- something only she could see. A tremendous evil sprouting through the clouds as bolts of lightning struck the clouds. She had dreamed of this creature for many years now. With each crack of thunder, she heard a strange tongue speak from it.
"Whoa!" she said in reaction to it. Turning her attention back to Tengoku, she heard the name was called 'Wrath of the Heavens'. A fitting name for the technique. It was then that he mentioned that he could maintain the storm and that he could drop a bolt of lightning at will and that it may even be able to kill Tengoku if he got caught in it himself. Her eyes turned back skyward and shivered a bit. What a horrifying technique.
Clearing her throat, she turned to look towards Tengoku for a moment. "You, you didn't happen to hear or see anything out of the ordinary during the storm clouds coming together, did you?" she asked, knowing full-well that he didn't see any of it. She just needed some kind of confirmation that she wasn't slipping towards insanity. She shook her head and let out a deep sigh. "Nevermind. I must be seeing things," she commented before taking a step back and slowly performing the handseals taught by Tengoku. After the formation of the handseals, she held her palms apart only for a bright white crackling ball of electricity to form between her palms with bright white arcs of electricity sparked between her fingertips. Her eyes enlarged at the sight before holding her hands up into the sky before it disappeared into the black clouds above. Strange. Nothing seemed to be happening right now. She placed her hands upon her hips, looking skyward and tilting her head to the side.
Tengoku's storm cloud appeared to get much darker with the additional layer of black clouds added over it with bolts of lightning streaking across the 300 meter wide cloud over head. She looked around for a moment to find a potential target. Shrugging her shoulders, she created the handseal needed for Kage Bunshin and created a second one of herself. As usual, this one was much dumber in appearance with empty eyes and a heavy underbite and only responded in grunts and groans. She pointed the shadow clone over to where Tengoku's shadow clone used to be and it hobbled over to where it was. Once it found itself in a safe spot, she pointed at it, causing a bolt of bright white lightning to strike it with a grunt echoing through the area. Yes, her Shadow Clones are just like her, but with more brain damage.
"That's going to be very effective. Thank you, Lord Hokage!" she said, turning to look towards Tengoku as wind blew her hair over her face, even covering up the smile she would've given him. "Can we turn this thing off now?"

After it's words have passed, another strike of lightning brought her back to her senses. She didn't have the time to pontificate on what she had witnessed, turning her attention towards Tengoku to see if he had witnessed it. No, there didn't seem to be any change in his behavior so it had to have only been her that saw and heard that. Her look of dread returned to a more neutral expression as she looked back up to the clouds to see a storm cloud. She turned to look back towards Tengoku and looked towards the other clone in the distance only to see it get pummeled in a beam of pure electricity. This caused Airi to jump backwards. "Whoa!" she said in reaction to it. Turning her attention back to Tengoku, she heard the name was called 'Wrath of the Heavens'. A fitting name for the technique.
