It had been a long time since Neo had been out shopping for her ninja supplies; most of the war, she'd sent up a supply requisition order and had received what she asked for, carte blanche. Now she had to spend her own money, a modest saving of her wartime pay; they never did pay enough during wartime, but their supplies were also paid for from the Hokage himself. Them's the breaks. She picks up several explosive tags, many feet of steel wire, all the basic necessities of scrolls and shuriken and kunai, and even a couple of hip pouches; hers had come apart from the rough treatment during the war, and she needed some new ones. It came out to a pretty penny, especially with all the tags, but she just smiles when the clerk remarks on the amount and shrugs. Then Neo pays for it and leaves nonchalantly before she can see any old faces.
