Description: After performing the needed handseals and placing both hands on the ground, the Kotoshura ninja will push their clan's typical Bakuton nature chakra below the surface of the ground, before jumping away. Once the user moves and severs the connection to the Bakuton chakra, the chakra becomes unstable and causes an underground explosion that sends shards of earth upwards and outwards in every direction 5 meters away from the point of contact at C-rank power.
Weaknesses: If the ground where the Bakuton chakra is being compressed is hit with a Raiton technique of D-rank or higher before the explosion happens, the Bakuton chakra being built up will be lost and dispersed harmlessly instead.

Description: Similar to the Exploding Palm technique, Backblast is a mostly defensive technique rather than an offensive one. However, unlike the Exploding Palm technique, this Bakuton technique can be used on any part of the body, allowing the Kotoshura ninja to focus that chakra on a specific limb or one side of their torso without exploding. Upon contact with a foreign chakra signature, the Bakuton chakra violently reacts and then explodes, usually knocking back most tangible chakra techniques or physical attacks of C-rank or below, but not intangible chakra attacks or weapons that aren't enhanced by foreign chakra. This can knock back one singular attack that makes contact with the Bakuton chakra, or multiple simultaneous attacks to the same body part, but once the Bakuton chakra has exploded, the Kotoshura ninja will have to use the technique again in order to make another pocket of Bakuton chakra on their body part or limb.
Weaknesses: The technique is instantly defeated and must be recast if hit by a Raiton technique of C-rank or higher, as the Bakuton chakra is harmlessly dispersed. While the technique is active, no other Bakuton techniques can be used.

Weaknesses: Because the blast is not discriminatory, it can effect enemies, allies, and even the Kotoshura user themselves unless proper precautions are taken.

Upon making the Ram handseal, they release the Bakuton chakra in all directions around their body in an sphere with a fifteen foot radius, causing a great deal of damage against anyone too close to the user. The explosion is capable of deflecting physical attacks of B-rank or below, but has no effect on attacks from pure-energy sources such as Katon or Raiton.
Weaknesses: The attack is completely indiscriminate, capable of hitting friends or foes alike. If the technique comes in contact with a Raiton technique of B-rank or below, the chakra is completely lost and the jutsu must be used again. In addition, no other techniques requiring handseals can be used while this technique is active.

After slamming their hand on the earth, the user of this technique pulls the tool from the stone; these tools are sharpened (if applicable) and shaped somewhat roughly, but perform as well as the C-rank quality of the weapon created. The following ninja tools can be made with this technique on one use; any other tools require the jutsu to be used again:
