This morning, Touka awakes with the urge to learn and train some new techniques and fighting ideas. One can never train too much in the pursuit of higher combat ability. After her morning routine and praying to her parents' shrine, she grabs Zealous Dreams as she is heads out of her house. After walking a short distance of a couple of steps, she realizes that she was in such a rush to avoid taking all of the stuff from her father's coworker, she never purchased any baldrics for the swords. With this realization, she chooses to take a detour through the market to make the purchase while not spending too much time looking and shopping for anything else as she has one thing in mind. Training.
After her spontaneous and needed purchase, Touka heads directly to the training grounds, specifically to a slightly open space in one of the wooded areas there. Dragging 2 targets with her, she sets them up about 15 meters away from herself. Strapping the baldrics on her back and placing the sayas in each, this would mark her start of training. She would pull out a scroll scrap that she used to copy a few techniques down to extend her Suiton arsenal. "Alright, let's start with the technique that seems the most useful for all of my needs. Waterfall Basin." Placing the scrap in her pocket, she begins kneading suiton into her chakra. After a few seconds, she forms the 3 seals with both hands as she isn't holding her swords yet. 30 meters to her right forms a puddle of water that slowly grows in size and height into a 5ft waterfall. After holding it for a few seconds, she realizes how easy it is to maintain it. From there, she uses it as a medium to produce Clones, sending them off in different directions up to 25 meters, and using each to produce the Suiton Release: Gunshot technique at one of the training dummies.
After a short while of this, Touka looks at her scrap again. She would commit 2 techniques to memory before stepping up to the waterfall. Taking a short moment to commit to memory her plan of trying two techniques back to back, she steps into the waterfall. Although it takes a little longer than she expected, Touka emerges from the top of the waterfall 5ft. in the air. Immediately, with both hands simultaneously using One-Handed Seals, she makes the seals, Tiger which is closely followed by Snake. She points her fingers at the dummy releasing 2 gunshots, but this time they are moving faster than normal. When they collide with the dummy they blow holes directly though it, proving to be considerably stronger than the original. Falling from her 5ft high exit, she lands in a pose similar to that of a super hero before standing up. "Well that was stronger than I expected. I think I will be using that fairly often. As for that hiding in water technique, maybe not as much. How about I take a break from purely ninjutsu techniques and try to work out some new sword techniques.”
Walking up the partially damaged dummy, she draws one of her swords with her right hand. "Sorry buddy, but this is were you meet your end, good sir. Rest well, you were much appreciated." Touka slashes twice, leaving 2 gashes in the wood before taking a few hops backward. After the third hop, she plants her feet shoulder width apart. Entering a relaxing position with her right foot forward, she would charge suiton chakra into her blade through a chakra flow like action, channeling it to the point that it was starting to bubble and bust a the blade's edge. After a few seconds, she would slash down and to the right, releasing the stored chakra. This would produce a slash-shaped blade of water that sliced through the air, towards the dummy. The blade bisects the dummy in a clean cut that leaves it still standing surprisingly. This projectile was closely followed by Touka, as she runs up and hops into a coiled stance, sliding towards the dummy readying a seemingly strong, close quarters slash.
Once within range to attack, Touka's arm whips forward quickly aiming for the dummy's neck, sending its head toppling off to the left. Collapsing into multiple pieces, the dummy is rendered useless as it lay on the ground used to its fullest degree. Still feeling unsatisfied with the technique, she continues to train it and hone it in until she feels good to call it complete. Re-entering the same stance before the projectile slash, she would hold it for a few seconds, eyes closed. Meditating in that stance, she commits everything to muscle memory as she releases and enters the stance multiple times. Then, similar to the stance, she does the same for the water slash and the quick slash. Though, without the initial dummy and not wanting to only partially use the second dummy, she aims these slashes towards the air and towards the sky. This aiming was done in an attempt to minimize damage to the surrounding area and trees. Watching the projectiles fly up and dissipate into mist after traveling 5 meters, they would add to the beauty of the nature that she chose as her training place today. Finally feeling comfortable with this being a stopping point, she nods her head silently and relaxes her body.
Touka would slash towards the ground, flinging any remaining water and soggy splinters off of the blade before wiping both sides off on her pantleg and sheathing it on her back. Walking back up to the used dummy, she picks up all of the pieces and chunks that were scattered about and carry them back to the entrance before going back for the unused one, bringing that one back as well. As she heads out of the training area, she stops in front of the exit, giving a bow before exiting and heading home.
