Payment: A private investor in the new prison has contacted the village to pay 25,000 to see this threat eliminated.

Description: After a rather incredible series of severe weather had plagued the Southern Islands of Water Country, a new archipelago appeared causing some concern and excitement among the nobility in the Daimyo’s court. Not wishing to risk his noble samurai as an expeditionary force, the Daimyo has instead issued this as a request to his loyal shinobi forces to discover any and all information about the archipelago.
In this first part of Act 1, the team is tasked with landing on the first island and locating the undead asylum. Upon discovery, the ground beneath will collapse leaving the group stranded within the Asylum itself. Locating an exit and beginning the cycle is the only way to escape the horrors within. Enemies are spread throughout the first halls of the asylum and only seem to want the explorers dead.- Undead Enemies x 6:

Act Goal: Make it out of the Undead Asylum
Mission Goal: Meet with Oscar of Astora and Retrieve the Estus Flask
Description: After a rather incredible series of severe weather had plagued the Southern Islands of Water Country, a new archipelago appeared causing some concern and excitement among the nobility in the Daimyo’s court. Not wishing to risk his noble samurai as an expeditionary force, the Daimyo has instead issued this as a request to his loyal shinobi forces to discover any and all information about the archipelago.
In Part Two, After igniting the first bonfire and beginning the cycle anew, the group will locate a building containing an entity within known as the Asylum Demon. Incapable of killing such an entity at the moment, the team will have to locate the hidden passageway and make their way to the upper floors of the asylum and meet with a previous explorer named Oscar who is gravely injured. He will tell the team about a relic named the estus flask which will heal his injuries as it seems that normal healing jutsu aren’t nearly as effective after one has experienced their first hollowing. Upon fighting through a horde of enemies and avoiding several dangerous traps, the team will find and retrieve the artifact before bringing it back to Oscar. He will inform them that it is too late for himself, however the estus flask is key to them escaping the archipelago as it will keep them from falling to the same ill fate he befell. Before passing, he will instruct them on how to defeat the Asylum demon and will reward them promptly.

Act Goal: Make it out of the Undead Asylum
Mission Goal: Defeat the Asylum Demon and Escape the Undead Asylum
Description: After a rather incredible series of severe weather had plagued the Southern Islands of Water Country, a new archipelago appeared causing some concern and excitement among the nobility in the Daimyo’s court. Not wishing to risk his noble samurai as an expeditionary force, the Daimyo has instead issued this as a request to his loyal shinobi forces to discover any and all information about the archipelago.
In Part Three, The team will make their way up the hallway Oscar had instructed them too, fighting the various enemies along the way. Upon finding themselves above the Asylum Demon, they will find that they can hurt the Demon through their usual means and will simply have to kill the demon to proceed out of the Asylum. The Asylum demon will drop monetary compensation upon expiring. After defeating the Demon, the group can proceed out the door where they will be carried to another part of the island by a large hawk.

Valen was decked out fully this morning as he waited at the gates of the village. He wore a black compression shirt with black pants and black boots. A black cloak with crimson lining covered him, the hood down and mask stored into its pocket. He did not need to be anonymous today. His long black hair went down under the cloak otherwise and at his hip hung his weapon. A katana, still stowed within it. The protective casing had a set of red circles all separated into three sections. A cap of gold was set upon the end of the sheath and a matching cap was on the pommel of the katana itself. The hilt was wrapped in black silk and the tsuba was an octofoil shape reminiscent of a flower. Upon his hands were his gloves, black and seemingly unremarkable beyond its exquisite craftsmanship. He eschewed a forehead protector in favor of the symbol of the village being embroidered upon the breast of his shirt, allowing him to quickly hide it by closing the cloak if it became necessary.
At the moment though it hung open, displayed for all to see and the red eyed man scanned around awaiting the arrival of three individuals. Only one of which he already knew. Azrael, the man that he had accidentally melted out of his own entombment of ice when he himself had. Was another member of the Nightmare Brigade. Raika was a new genin that he knew nothing about and Kami was as well. All three were realistically too weak to handle these missions; however Valen was confident he could keep them safe if necessary. The fact of the matter was that more hands were needed. Experienced ones especially, so Valen had been asked to take some greener shinobi out on higher ranked missions to give them a taste of what they were like. To push them into the deep end early and see if they could cope and progress or if they would burn out and quit.
Valen was willing of course, he was always willing to do any mission asked in the end. Especially if he got to fight during them. That was one of his favorite things to do, the blood rushing through the body at an increased pace due to the adrenaline of the fight. The possibility that you lose and die, or are forced to retreat. The thrill of victory and the knife's edge dance of combat that could always go different than you expected. It was his favorite sensation in the world. He had long since learned to temper that bloodlust, to unleash it only when necessary. Upon the murderers, rapists and other scum of the world for the Nightmare Brigade. Or for missions that made it necessary, for Kirigakure.
As it stood a few such missions were on their docket today. Five to be precise, one was to eliminate a group of bandits that had made camp along the road, harassing travelers to and from the village. The second was to move northwest from that mission and eliminate a terrorist cell that was holded up in an abandoned manor. From there they were to travel north to the very outskirts of the village to find a group of missing nin that had come from the blood prison breakout years ago. Apparently they had been lowing low and ended up in the Land of Water. Currently they were gathering strength for something. Finally from there they would travel south, all the way to the shore where they were to search for a pirate ship hidden somewhere. The ship had been raiding the Bay of Kirigakure for a time, harassing and pillaging shipping. They were to sink the ship with all hands.
From there they were to travel south, walking across the water, or perhaps commandeering the ship. To an Archipelago that had just appeared off the islands. Creating an interesting topic of discussion. They were to investigate and see to it that no threat was posed to the village.
All in all, quite the busy day lay ahead of the group. Valen had four copies of the scroll, one for him and one each for each of the genin. They were tucked away safely within various pockets within his cloak and as each arrived he would toss one to each of them. He had seen pictures of the two he did not know, from their shinobi identification photo’s and Azrael he would recognize on sight.

Name: Hai no Ha: Blade of Ashes

Description: The blade of Ashes is a katana specifically designed to augment one’s fire release capabilities alongside an individual's Kenjutsu prowess. The blade length is 70 cm long and the hilt is 22 cm long. The blade itself is black with a purple and red reverse wave hardening line. It’s tsuba is in a distinctive octofoil shape with flower-like edges. The hilt is wrapped in black silk and the end caps of the hilt and sheath are golden. The sheath itself is black with red circles marked upon it. The circles themselves are divided into thirds.
The capabilities of the Blade of Ashes are specifically made to harness one's fire release chakra and to increase the users capabilities with their swordsmanship. To that end the blade, when wielded with both hands, will bequeath a -1 tier reduction in chakra cost to fire release techniques. This reduction will stack with other reductions for a maximum of up to -2 tiers in cost to a given technique. Furthermore Blade of Ashes gives the wielder the capability to utilize fire techniques without needing to perform hand seals. Provided the user is again, wielding the blade with both hands upon the hilt.
Finally of course thanks to the Midnight Ore encompassing it’s makeup when the Blade of Ashes interacts with any item it will interact as if the opposing item's hardness is 1 tier lower than normal.

Description: Grand Thrust is the main purpose of the Steel Release chakra imbued within the weapon in question. As this enchant utilizes that steel release to build upon the blade and extend it at S rank speed. The length of this extension is dependent on how many charges the user uses in the activation. One charge will allow the blade to extend up to 2 meters. A cap of five charges can be utilized at any given time. The charges will only allow the blade to extend for one post. Description: The Reinforced Cloak of Obscurement is a black cloak with a hood that also comes with a detachable mask that covers the face with the exception of the eyes. The cloak itself was commissioned from Kara Darhk by Valen Minamoto in order to both give him a way to conceal his identity if necessary and a protective layer of clothing when necessary. The cloak itself is deep black on the outside with a crimson red lining within. Various pockets can be found within the lining allowing the wearer to store a surprising amount of things within. The cloak when worn gives the wearer a +1 tier of constitution, the chakra reinforcement of the cloak transferring to the user's body when worn and allowing them to withstand more than they might have otherwise.

Description: A specially designed Enchantment of Kara's, by imbuing her magnet release into an item. Any thrown or launched metal item that comes within 5 meters instantly stops, seemingly caught in a magnetic field around the wearer. By using a single charge per item, the items caught in this field are sent out like a pulse at A-Rank Speed. Swords and other held items can be repelled and not able to strike the wearer if a single charge is used to stop them and their strength is below A-Rank, however unlike thrown items that will simply fly out until they strike something or lose momentum, held items pushed back can be resisted even when the strength is below A-Rank, meaning someone with B to B++ strength would feel the tug of the item pull them back 10 meters but still hold their weapon. Those with C to C++ Strength have the item pull them back 15 meters and the item is knocked from their hand. Anyone with a Strength less than C is pushed back 20 meters and the item is knocked from their hand travelling via the projectile rules.
