Phantom Family
Azrael would move through the mist shrouded forest that surrounded Kirigakure with hia chakra ghost in tow, spread out should someone try to us sensory to find him they would instead find many with no way to know who was real or not without coming within sight of the male and his ghosts. Of course, by that time Azrael would be able to pick the would be tracker with his own chakra sensory that spread out across the area around him. Though it would of been more effective if he knew the hidden mist technique, the natural mist of the area would provide at least some cover from prying eyes. The young Yurei found the forest much more peaceful than the activity of the village, the phantom had no patience for the people of the village. No one there understood the man, how could they as there were none like him. He was a clan leader of a clan where he was alone, most Yurei were gone or lived on their own, rarely choosing life within the village walls due to the fact that they held no clan district nor positions of influence within the village. Many including himself, the village feared, that didn't bother the man, though it made walking through the village harder to not draw attention to himself. He planned to go speak with the Mizukage or whoever was in charge about this issue, though it was hard to achieve such feats when he was the only Yurei in the mist village, though he supposed he could always earn some Ryo and simply pay for it himself, though that would take much more time to accomplish than the first option though, it was still somewhat of a backup plan if it was needed. Azrael's blood red eyes would stare out through the mist, his mind briefly thinking of his Deva before wondering if he was meant to be alone for a reason.

Re: Phantom Family
The young woman walked through the forest, enjoying the breeze in the night. Her white hair shimmered in the moonlight, her eyes bright red, almost contrasted when the moon hit them. The defect in her eyes made it better with her abilities. Nobody would know she’d be using her abilities until they really looked close. The woman kept looking back, almost feeling like being followed. ‘Tch.’ She sucked in through her teeth, getting annoyed. It probably was nothing but she hated the never ending feeling of someone else being here. She should’ve studied the sensory Jutsu’s like the clan did.
Kami kept walking along the forests before the movements go closer. She remained still, now very aggravated. She grunted before sitting down with her legs crossed; one hand on her knee and the other holding her hand up. “Oi, OI. Why do you come out here so late at night just to disturb someone’s night walk?!” She called out with a bit of attitude in her voice. Upon looking closer at her appearance, she had small fangs, closer to cat fangs. Small and dainty. Kami wanted to know who was out as late at her. Really someone else out here annoyed her.

Re: Phantom Family
Sensing another presence within his sensory range would intrigue Azrael, his ghost disappearing as he activated his Ghost sight. His vision moving rapidly through the forest until it found the source of the chakra, a woman walking alone in the middle of the forest at night. It was possible that she was a shinobi of the hidden mist, though she did not look like it, something about her seemed familiar to the man. He would continue on his journey, slowly moving closer to the woman as their path would soon cross. As he drew nearer however the woman seemed to stop walking, choosing instead to sit down and hold a hand in the air as she spoke. 'Was it possible she has seen this one?' Azrael would think to himself as he stepped closer to her, yet still out of line of sight. Now that he was closer to her, he could almost swear she was familiar, not her appearance but her chakra, though he couldn't place where he would have sensed it before. Remaining out of sight of the woman Azrael would reactivate his Chakra Ghost Technique causing a few to appear in front of the woman as well as spreading them all around her in the forest, his next action would depend on how the woman reacted to his ghosts' sudden appearance all around her.
If the woman became scared of them, then he would simply terrorize her like he did most of the villagers. Doing his best to scare her, however if she was not scared then he would speak, his voice echoing through his ghost as they would all speak in unison, all with the same red eyes as the male. "We are the Watchers of the Forest. The Ghosts of Kirigakure. We are the Angel of Death. We are Legion. You have entered into our domain, why?"

Re: Phantom Family
Kami closed her eyes, waiting for the person to show up. She took deep breaths, controlling her temper. As the person got closer, it became to feel like more than one. She couldn’t figure it out but the stranger felt familiar as well to her. Her eyebrow twitched with the sudden appearance of ghosts. “Man this is what I hate—“ She stopped talking and opened her eyes to see the ghosts. Kami just looked at the ghosts with an annoyed expression. This particular presence didn’t feel different to her own. She looked the ghosts up and down and raised a brow, hearing what they had to say. Taking a better look, maybe the ghosts looked like the user. She took a mental note of the appearance and continued to listen.
With much surprise, she slammed both of her hands on her thighs and started yelling. “Your domain?!” She stood up and looked at the ghosts. “You’re the one being a creep. Just who do you think you are!” She gritted her teeth, baring her fangs towards the ghosts. With much surprise, Kami’s voice didn’t really yell. She just spoke louder with a low growl to her tone. If you didn’t see her, you’d probably mistake her for being a thug rather than a sleek woman. She had a balled up fist towards the ghost, angered by the audacity of what they had to say. “Who is your host! I ought to give them a piece of my mind.” She took a moment to spit next to the ghosts. “Do you have any idea who I am? My father wouldn’t want anyone claiming the grounds that he had control over.” Her father wasn’t a good guy but he was still the previous clan leader. She wanted to at least give respect to that.
“I am Kami Yurei, child of Reo Yurei.” Her eyes made a bright crimson glow. “So I’d suggest you reveal yourself before I try and find out myself..” This situation didn’t really surprise Kami since her fathers passing. But she really didn’t like that this presence was familiar. She took a moment to think about it. “Now that I really feel it… your presence is much like his..” She said it quietly under her breath and looked them up and down. “Disgusting.” One presence like her father was enough. Two was too much. Putting a few of these small features together, the ghosts kind of resembled her dad.. As if he was younger. What kind of sick joke was this.

Re: Phantom Family
A smile would form beneath Azrael's mask at the woman's reaction, much different than others he had encountered in the past. The fact that she was a Yurei however was interesting, he had not seen another Yurei here before. She spoke the name of her parent, as though Azrael should know it. As he thought about the name, he remembered the woman upstairs mentioning something about a Reo or something a long time ago.
The Chakra ghosts would disappear, and Azrael would step out from behind the tree approximately thirty meters to her left. His eyes glowing bright red beneath his pure white hair as he activated his Ghost Sense. The lower half of his face hidden beneath a rebreather mask which bares a monstrous grin on it which he often uses for his illusions. Wearing all black including his jacket, which normally he would have his hood over his head to ensure stealth, he wasn't trying to sneak when he had discovered the woman. He wouldn't say anything, simply watch her as he slowly approached in a creep of a walk. His head would slowly tilt to the side as he approached before reverting back up right, Azrael processing everything in his mind as he watched the woman on his approach. When he would finally get to about ten meters away from the woman he would stop, slowly tilting his head once more as he silently observed her.
She looked like him, at least her hair and eyes, and she claimed to be a Yurei, and knew a name thebitch knew. Who was she? Did the woman upstairs send her? He would begin to wonder if maybe he should not have gotten as close as he had to her. If the woman was sent to retrieve him, he would have to kill her. He didn't want to do that, if she was in fact a Yurei. But he couldn't be sure, at least not yet. So he would simply stare at her from where he was, slowly lifting his head back upright.

Skill: Sensory
Classification: Dojutsu, Secret Technique
Requirements: Akayurei [Stage 2]

Description:
The Akayurei grants the user enhanced perception capabilities. Their ability to read into an opponent's soul or spirit gives them allows them to gain some subtle hints toward their thought processes. This allows one to gain a sort of mini-precognition to aid them in close combat (see this KKG's mechanics for more info, as it is meant for the Perception Boost and nothing else). It also however allows them to inspect a person's health bar so to speak. The Dojutsu can also see their life force and how close they are to death.
Weaknesses:
Does not gain the Perception Bonus without this technique making it a more costly boost to Perception than a Sharingan (while also inferior). Seeing a person's health does not aid them in saving a person if they don't have the means to do so.

Re: Phantom Family
Kami looked at the ghosts while they dispersed, now just standing there, looking kinda like a fool. Looking a bit further, she noticed a boy coming out from behind the tree. White hair, a red glow in his eyes. She began to fiddle with her hair but then shook her head. No, there was no connection. That’d be impossible. She’s an only child. Kami shrugged it off along with a creeped out shiver. ‘This dude is super creepy’ Kami turned around and began to walk away. Nope. Not getting murdered. Even thought she had Jutsu’s to protect herself, she did not want to deal with someone like that. That was a murderer ready to analyze how to chop up her body and bury it.
She stopped for a moment and looked back, pondering for a moment. Her eyes glowed a bright red and she sat down. “I’m not gonna hurt you!” She called out, activating a Genjutsu. Maybe this will make him less scary. If he was a bit disoriented, it could help make him come out. She didn’t really want to hurt him if he wasn’t a threat but if he tried anything, she would.

As the woman would go to turn away from him Azrael would quickly form the tiger hand seal activating his Sly Mind Affect Technique, She was much faster then he was so the fact that she stopped walking and sat down gave him the chance to catch up to the woman, seeing her form handsigns caused him to smile beneath his mask. 'How cute, she thinks she can hurt this one.' Azrael would think to himself knowing she was casting a genjutsu, one that he mastered long ago and knew how it worked. She was a conundrum, at least now if she tried to walk away again she would just walk in circles right back to him so he would just have to wait, once again he would get to about ten meters away from the woman, however this time speaking in a low whisper. "You will not leave, this one has questions for you." Azrael would peer at the woman with his blood red glowing eyes, looking for any sign that she might not be who she said she was, or that she might try something else.

Re: Phantom Family
Kami continued to look at him, raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms while rolling her eyes. “I already told you. I’m. Ka. Mi. Yu. Re. I.” She sounded her name out, mocking him as if he was too dumb to understand. “Did that get into your head? And this isn’t your domain. It’s Reo Yurei’s domain. The previous leader of the Yurei clan.” She looked a little disgusted by even mentioning his name. A father figure who up and abandoned his town and his family just because he couldn’t keep it in his pants. She hated her father and desired no connection to him. “If we’re talking technicalities, this would be MY domain.” Kami looked to the side, avoiding eye contact. When she looked at the boy it was startling. The resemblance was almost shocking to her dad. Every time she looked at him, a vision of her dad would overlap the boys face. Due to seeing the ghost’s faces, she couldn’t help but see it now. “I come in here every once in a while to get away from that dreadful town… it’s better to take in the moonlight..” She gave a small sigh and relinquished her genjutsu. If he really was a Yurei, it wouldn’t have an affect. She didn’t want to waste any chakra if she didn’t have to. “Are you done with your stupid questions.”

Re: Phantom Family
Azrael's head would slowly tilt as he listened to the woman, more out of curiosity than anything else. She seemed to think that she could lay claim to this land, but she was foolish. This was the domain of his master, and in this forest his master Sero had given him free range over this forest, to do as he pleased. Meaning he could do whatever he wished, there for this domain belonged to him, the fact that the woman kept bringing up her father was another mystery for Azrael. He couldn't shake the fact that he heard the name before, but there was no way her father could have been the previous clan leader. When he had first arrived in Kirigakure, what he could find of the Yurei clan told him he was the son of the former leader and gave him the amulet he was wearing on his neck.
"You speak lies, This One is the firstborn son of Former Clan leader, This One holds the Title now." Azrael would hold up the small amulet the elder had given him to signify the fact that he was now the leader of the Yurei, as his father's firstborn son. He was an only child as far as Azrael was aware, he didn't know his father, the man died before he escaped the woman upstairs that people say was his mother. If the woman wanted to speak lies then she would pay with her life, Azrael would gauge her reaction to what he had said to see if her story would now change. If she continued with her lies, then he would have no choice but to end her. He found himself in a generous mood however having recently reunited with his master, so he would give her but one more chance to speak the truth. "Now This One does not like to repeat Our words, This One Demands you tell Us the Truth. Who are you and why have you come into Our Domain." His voice would remain a whisper, however it echoed with authority as he spoke as sense of demand as he tried to keep his anger at the woman's lies at bay.

Kami looked at the boy once again. “Then it cannot be so. My father was the former clan leader. It would be impossible to have two clan leaders. My father left shortly after I was born because he couldn’t keep it in his pants.” She used her hands to push herself up. She began walking closer with her hands in her front pockets. When she got closer to the boy, she began leaning towards him.. “I will not repeat myself again either.” Her eyes glowed bright, lustful and with a mighty anger behind them. “My…” Her voice began to change to a lower tone, a more serious and demeaning response. “Name..” Her mouth curled with every word, eyes staring straight through his eyes. “Is..” Kami got a little bit closer. “Kami… Yumei.” When she finished her sentence, she had a sinister look, claiming Azrael as someone who she despised. The fact that she had to repeat herself once more made her severely ticked off. She refused to say anymore other than that. Her heartbeat was calm and her eyes remained glowing, a burning anger reflected off of her eyes. What a scary woman…

Re: Phantom Family
Azrael would not lower his glare as the woman approached, if she could not see the Blood Ruby of the clan leader, then she must be lying about who she really is. By this point his Sly Mind Affect technique would be in full effect, though it wouldn't really matter at this point, she wasn't trying to run from him though he would keep it active just for the fact that she continued her lies. It was time for him to end this
Azrael would look at the woman with a disappointment in his eyes, if only she would have spoken the truth her life would have been spared, but now he was done with her and soon she would be begging the Azrael to kill her if she did not die from the torture first that is. Forming a string of handseals, Azrael would pull out a small kunai and begin cutting his hand. "You are not the child of the clan leader, This One is the only one. This One cares not for your name any longer, Your fate is Sealed your lies will be your tomb." Azrael whisper would hold a finite to its tone, as if he knew the woman was about to die and as he spoke he would hold up his bloody hand for her to see activating his Bad Blood Technique, and his blood would morph into monstrous creatures of various sizes that would all form around Azrael as they began creeping towards the woman of lies. Whether she only witnesses him cutting his hand or looked at the whole bloody hand did not matter as the genjutsu only required her to see a drop to activate and no matter how far away she tried to move from them they would eventually catch her. Once the Genjutsu was activated Azrael would cover up his hand so that he would not lose too much blood, it was a risk for him to use the technique this way, but it was a price he was willing to pay to make the woman answer for her lies.

Re: Phantom Family
Kami kept staring at him until he said his words. “What the hell do you mean my lies!” Kami began getting in Azrael’s face until taking a good look at the amulet. “Hey…” Flashbacks of her father concurred within her head, the amulet becoming more prominent. She held her head and looked up at him again. “Wait.. that amulet.. that was my fathers. We wore it around his neck all the time, I never saw him without it. How did you get it?” She looked concerned and troubled, almost like the flashback itself caused her pain. Kami looked Azrael up and down and noticed his hand. “Why the hell would you cut your hand! Are you an idiot?!” Kami snapped at Azrael, now seeing the blood form monstrous enemies. She took a step back, filling with disgust. “All because you can’t tell that I’m telling the truth? You’re crazy!” Kami was far gone from mentality but this was more shock and anger. The two real emotions shown in this whole conversation.

Re: Phantom Family
Azrael could feel the strain all this walking and Genjutsu was casting, hearing the woman mention seeing her father wear the amulet would cause the man to almost end his Genjutsu. Why didn't he think to use it before, using something he would be able to tell if she spoke true or not. It had worked on others in the past there would be no reason it shouldn't work on this woman unless she tried to resist it. Azrael would step forward, putting himself between the woman and his blood illusion, mindful of the woman and remaining outside of arm's reach. Looking into the woman's eyes he would whisper, "Embrace." While to anyone else this simple word would mean nothing among the Yurei it meant something more akin to trust. If she was indeed a Yurei, and her father was of the clan. She would know that Azrael was referring to a unique technique that they possessed to walk through the others memories, and see the truth through their eyes.
If the woman accepted such, Azrael would activate "A Ghost's Embrace" instantly imprinting his consciousness into her mind so that he could see the truth. If Azrael wished it he could allow the woman to see his memories as well, though she would have no control over what he saw once she let him into her mind. Her entire life story would be an open book, and while she could force him from her mind it would not help her case and she would still be dealing with the blood beasts. Though the choice would be her's ultimately, her choices were slim either she trusted him or his Genjutsu would slowly drive her crazy.

Re: Phantom Family
Kami looked dead at Azrael, watching him stand there for a while before coming near her. Now within a good distance, the boy whispered a word to her. Taken aback, she retreated one foot. She didn’t want anyone in her memories, let alone experience the things she did or know what happened in her childhood. Though it was the only way for Azrael to believe her. She let go of anything she held on regarding anger or emotion. Her face became relaxed, her mouth opening just a tad bit, enough to let her exhale. Kami’s eyes opened slightly, looking tired, like she hadn’t slept. With no words spoken after that, her eyes met with the other, instead of her red eyes, the red turned a more sinister color, deep, glowing.
Kami’s life began with the face of her father, Reo Yurei. In the same vision, the amulet was bright, sparkling, everything else dull and not as lively. The vision spins out, motioning towards another, almost like a fast forward. Her parents arguing, Kami crying with a stuffed animal in her arms. Her mother found out about Reo’s crimes and had suggested he leave. Distant screams echoed through the memories and the vision fast forwarded again. Kami was already 6 at this point, Reo looking over her while she slept. It was probably the calmest she had seen him. He was suddenly pulled away, the necklace once again, in the vision, the last thing to be seen. The vision closed out and went to a more current time. 10 years old. Kami was taking care of herself at this point. She would fail at cooking here and there but she still ate regardless.
Her mom in each vision, sitting away from her, not talking, showing no emotion and smoking while on the staircase, chair or on the porch. Each frame having Kami’s face and hair change with events happening in the background. Her father watching her sleep, her mother slapping her and her dad just being a creep, sometimes trying to go further.. Kami was alone. No moral support, no emotional support, nothing. Nights of her crying herself to sleep, changing to sleeping peacefully.
Kami’s memories begin to fast forward, like a flip book, watching her grow without the help of her parents anymore until now. Each frame of her becoming sadder and sadder, until no emotion would be seen. From her first time unlocking the Akayurei to meeting Azrael. Her physical body feeling weak, a tear dropping from her eyes. She had to relive these nightmares just to get him to trust her. By the end of her memories, her body dropped, feeling completely drained having to relive everything. The one thing she knew though…
As the two met with eye contact, her body felt weak and there, they shared their stories.

Re: Phantom Family
As Kami opened her mind an Azrael began to explore there would be an instant connection that the male had not experienced with others that he had taken into an Embrace. It was as if they were kindred more so than just through the clan, it would run deeper than that. As he watched her memories, speeding up the information in various points to get more of what he needed, his vision was always met with the appearance of a man that wore his medallion. Perhaps, the woman wasn't lying after all, but Azrael would have to be sure causing the man to dive even deeper into the woman's mind, to her subconscious to the part of her that even she might not be aware of and there he would find something, something that would change Azrael's outlook of the woman now before him.
The young Kami couldn't have been older than three or four, from the looks of it she was at the market with the man who wore his medallion. However this was not what interested him, it was something else that he saw in this hidden memory, or rather someone else. There standing before the young Kami and the man wearing the medallion was the woman from upstairs, she seemed to be arguing with the man. Something was wrong with this memory though, corrupted in some way, the would be no sound preventing Azrael from hearing what exactly was going on. It wasn't until towards the end of the memory that he would understand what happened, able to read the lips of the man as he knelt in front of Kami "You're mother can never know" and with that the memory would go black. It would seem that Kami's father used his Akayurei to make the young girl forget what had happened, meaning Azrael would not have the whole truth. Still he would have the information that he needed, as he went to leave the woman's mind the area around him would shake and he would be met with another vision of the same encounter that he just witnessed, or at least the last half of it. This one from a different view point distorted in a way as if who was watching was doing so through a crack in a wall or door, yet the sound would be clear as day.
"What are you doing here Reo, how did you find me?" "Kiyo, we saw you in the market... I heard rumors you had a son, I must know if it is mine." "You already have a kid, you don't deserve. I hope you rot in hell Reo." "My son!" "He was stillborn, he's dead just like you should be!" And with that the woman upstairs slammed the door and six year old Azrael would wander back down the stairs to the basement, wondering who those two were but quickly forgetting about them as he returned to playing with his ghosts.
Azrael would shake his head as he exited Kami's mind, that last memory was his but he didn't even remember it, it was so long ago and the young Yurei had much happen since then. Was this connection he felt because they shared a father, did he have a half sister? Azrael would end the techniques he had cast on the woman, holding out his hand to offer her help up. He was still trying to process everything that he had just seen, but one thing was certain to him, Kami was not a threat to him. "This one apologizes for our actions toward you, Kami Yurei. This one was not aware that we had family beyond our ghosts. You may call This One, Azrael."

Re: Phantom Family
Kami laid there for a moment before she jolted up, breathing heavily, and clutching her shirt on her chest. She closed her eyes again, the glow fading from the color. She caught her breath for a moment, opening her eyes once again and looking up to Azrael. A few tears fell from her eyes again, falling with each blink. She wiped her face and her eyes before slapped Azrael’s hand away. “I can pick myself up.” She made a sniff as she picked herself up, dusting herself off and looking at him again. “If you ever try and go through my memories again, sibling or not, I will kill you.” She warned the older one before turning away, avoiding eye contact. “Yeah thanks for the name, just to call you Azrael.” Kami huffed, looking into the distance of the forest.
Kami looked back at him, her eyes moving at an alarming rate. “Did you know… our dad.” Her body turned around, completely facing him. Now looking at him fully, he did really look like their dad. Fortunately, she didn’t look much like him at all except maybe his eyes. Kami rubbed her arm out of nervousness, awaiting patiently for his answer. She didn’t know how to feel about having a sibling, let alone really any family. Would he be the same his her parents? Their dad? The thought made her shiver and kinda go back to her old self. “Nevermind.” Kami began heading towards town, passing Azrael and raising her hand, waving goodbye. She didn’t have time to have an older brother or family. She was alone for most of her life, she was comfortable with that… She didn’t want to rely on someone once again just for them to turn their back on her.

Re: Phantom Family
Azrael would resist the urge to place another Genjutsu on Kami as he slapped his hand away, 'we must stay calm' would be all he thought to himself as he watched the woman pick herself up. Wondering why she was scolding him for going into her memories when she had welcomed it at first, and he did not understand why she had water coming from her eyes or why she was trying to hide that fact. Azrael would continue to stare as the woman eventually turned around and faced him asking about her dad, "This One knows the man not. This One arrived here after, This One only possesses the medallion." His life had been filled with the basement up until he found his Master and Deva, when they showed him what living was like. The fear that could be struck into the hearts of the weak as well as the taste he seemed to have for it, wondering just how his dear sister would find these acts and whether or if she would leave him alone with his ghosts when she discovers it. Staring at her as she began walking towards town, not stopping her simply watch as he did. "This One will keep an eye on you dear sister, even from a distance." He would whisper through his wicked grin mask as he moved to follow her in the direction of the village though he did not move as fast as her he could still keep an eye on her through his Chakra Sense. 'Why does sister leave This One,' Azrael would ask himself as he followed her.

Re: Phantom Family
Walking away, she out her hands in her pocket , trying to ignore the fact that he was following her. She became clearly annoyed by this and turned around. “Why do you INSIST on following me. I appreciate that you didn’t kill me but I don’t need a family member.” She snapped to the man. Kami remained with a stoic face but her eyes said everything. She could never really hide her emotions from her eyes. They were glossy, almost on the edge of crying. Kami looked to the side with her head down. “You’ll just be another who leaves.” She stated with an irate attitude. Truth was she didn’t want to be alone anymore. She hated this newfound feeling towards Azrael. It wasn’t love, it was far from it. Kami became not caring towards him but had some feeling to him.
Her lips began to quiver a bit and she turned around quickly. “I-… I don’t need anyone.” Her voice began to falter, shake almost. She swallowed what emotion she had and took a deep breath and began walking again. Her inner child wasn’t ready to heal yet and Azrael was a key. She knew this. The wind picked up and it became a bit chilly. Just because she let him in, it didn’t mean she was okay with it. She did it so she didn’t get hurt. Kami knew she wasn’t strong enough to hold up on her own let alone with someone who had more advanced eyes than her. She kept walking to the village, starting to her home. It was the same home Azrael saw in her memories. Her mom wasn’t around much and when she was, she was on the couch or in her room.

Re: Phantom Family
Hearing the woman's words as she turned to face him, Azrael would tilt his head in confusion at first, not fully understanding what the woman meant. It would only last a second and as the woman turned back around to continue walking away, Azrael would form the half tiger seal using chakra to give him a burst of speed so that he would be in front of her. Of course he would over shoot, ending up several meters in front of her instead of right in front of her like he had planned. He would turn around seeing the woman further back behind him and he would let out a heavy sigh, he didn't know why he was pushing himself so much for this woman. It was nearly killing him and he wasn't sure how much more strain his body could really take at this form, but there was something in the woman's words that struck a chord with the man.
They were words he had heard before from another, and words he himself had said before. Though she said them, Azrael easily saw in her eyes that she did not mean them. He saw the fear in her eyes, fear that he had seen in others before, not fear of him as a monster like so many others, but the fear of allowing another in just to have them disappear. The male would use this time to catch his breath the best he could though his whisper would be more raspy than it was before. Standing as tall as he could he stared at the woman, trying to block her path, though she could easily push past him if she wanted to, he was not the physical kind. "This One will not leave, Kami Yurei. This One is and will always be here."

Re: Phantom Family
Kami took a step back when Azrael appeared in front of her. "Seriously.." She rolled her eyes, trying to move passed when she stopped mid way. Side by side with Azrael, he whispered just loud enough, she could hear him clear as day. She made a fist, her head slowly being brought down with the immense emotion. Who would say that so confidently and not think about the actions the other person would have against them. Azrael was lucky today. "You.. Idiot." She said as her voice quivered with every word. Tears dropped from her eyes as she looked towards the ground, tears landing on the dirt pathway.
Kami clenched her teeth, sniffling aggressively, trying to calm herself down but she couldn't. It had been so long since she heard that from anyone, other than her parents. Hic.. Hic.. She began choking on her own snot and air, coughing it all out. Kami broke from that one sentence in which gave her a new goal. Never break down in front of someone ever again.. Even Azrael. Unless it was so bad, she should never show this again. Kami sniffled a few more times and wiped her tears away from her eyes. She took a few steps back and put her hand out, staring at her newfound brother. "Azrael Yurei.." Kami looked dead in his eyes. "I will protect you with everything I have. Till death, need not worry for I shall be your shield, your barrier, you sword and shield." Kami wiped her face again, finally getting any residue off and one finally sniffle. Her face remained calm and straight. "Whether you need it or not, as your sister," she paused a moment, realizing what she had called herself. "as your sister, I will protect you.."

Azrael would stare at the woman with his head tilted to the side, confused by this show of emotions as he had not experienced it himself before though he has seen and experienced it through the minds of others, it would still confound him however he would not interrupt her. Azrael knew that the best thing to
Listening to her words about her protecting him would confuse him even further, he needed no protection from anyone as long as he had his Master he need not worry about anything. "You are mistaken, Kami Yurei. This One is clan leader, This One needs no protection, This One will protect you." Azrael would state plainly as he stared at the woman, "This One will show you the way. You must conquer fear, make it your weapon." Azrael would debate on whether or not he should take his sister straight to his master or not, but ultimately decided the woman was not ready for such an encounter. It would be likely Kami would fall victim to the fear his master produces, as it was far more potent than the fear Azrael strikes in people, yet it is just from being in his presence. Sero's presence however was what drew Azrael to his master, he found the taste of fear simply delicious even his own no matter how small.
Though Azrael had never experienced fear himself until he met Sero the presence of a true deity, he found the feeling extremely curious and actually enjoys being at his master's side because of this. Azrael would ponder briefly wondering how he could truly convey what he was saying as he picked up just the slightest ping of chakra within his chakra sense. Someone else had entered the forest, someone had entered the spiders web that was Azrael's domain. "Come, Kami Yurei. This One will show you the power we hold, This One will show you how to feast upon the fear, then no one will ever make you cry again. Even This One." With that Azrael would begin slowly moving toward the source of the chakra that had entered his forest, assuming his sister was following him.

Re: Phantom Family
Kami was a bit confused by his response, not knowing if he had heard her right or not. She knew he didn't need protecting but she wanted to help either way. She was aware she needed protecting herself but she wasn't concerned about it. If she died, it was meant to be. Nothing could change her view on that. As Azrael stood there seemingly pondering, Kami looked around, wondering why he even claimed this area as his domain anyway. It was just a forest, nothing special.
When azrael instructed her to follow him, she didn't follow for a moment. Why all of a sudden should she follow him, especially about making ones fear their power. They did see each others memories but it was still hard to 100% trust him completely. She hesitantly took a step forward, each step following behind the other faster, now catching up to Azrael. He seemed slower than the normal person and upon closer inspection, he didn't have much muscle to him either. He must've been really sick for a while. "How can I make my fear my strength than weakness? I don't understand but maybe that's just me..." She asked him while walking with him at the same pace. It was kind of hard to really stay with him at this pace since her normal walking speed was a bit faster.

Re: Phantom Family
As he walked he noticed that Kami didn't directly follow though eventually would catch up with ease, it was clear to him that his sister seemed to be the more physical type than he was. He wasn't sure how to explain it to the woman, as it was something he had always been able to do, so he would try to show her instead. "What is your greatest fear, Kami Yurei?" Azrael would ask his sister as he stopped walking and looked at her, his Akayurei activating the instant she looked at him. He already knew the answer to his question having seen all of her memories but he wondered if she knew herself. When she looked at him she would instantly see the source of her fear in Azrael's place as his Genjutsu would take hold, and his whisper would echo in her mind. "See it. Know it. Conquer it." No other words would be spoken and if Kami would try to speak to him those words would repeat. She had to figure this out for herself, for when she did she would see the power behind one's fears and know how to use it against others.
Having done this himself several years ago he knew it would take time, however he was in no hurry as the chakra he was tracking was actually moving towards them. Azrael would watch his sister, his mental connection to her still intact as he did not negate the embrace yet, though Kami could if she grew tired of his voice. The longer she was under the Genjutsu, the more his words would repeat "See it. Know it. Conquer it." Once she learned to control her own fear, he could teach her how to control the fears of others. However, for now he would have to wait and see if his sister was up to the task.

Re: Phantom Family
Kami’s greatest fear? She didn’t know what he meant but at this time there was no time to think. All she could hear was the repetition of those words. ‘See it. Know it. Conquer it.’ Kami crossed her arms and looked at him, into his eyes. Closing her eyes almost instantly as her eyes moved to his, trying to speak. As she attempted to speak, she was only filled with his voice even more. Opening her eyes, she saw her fear take over Azrael’s being. The fear itself didn’t take over Azrael’s body but more of his inner self. Through his eyes, she saw nothing. It was black and it was a child of her alone with her black and white cat stuffy. It was her favorite.
Kami looked away, not ready to really come face to face. She had a face of discomfort, more through her lips, eyebrows and eyes. Her eyebrows were narrowed down, the corners of her lips pulled back into her cheeks and her eyes looked down, avoiding any contact. She thought about it and kept quiet, the voices continuing and slowly getting louder to her. Her face slowly changed to becoming aggravated by Azrael being in her mind and talking, despite whispering, in her head he was louder than anything. She began to grip her hair, crouching down, full squat. Her feet all the way touching the ground, her knees against her chest and her hair falling behind, landing on her back. She closed her eyes, seeing her fear once again, finally getting up, looking at him and punching next to Azrael, hitting a tree, leaving a small indent. “Being alone!” She called out while throwing her ounce. Her eyes glowed the Akayurei red, now pissed off.
Kami looked at Azrael, knowing she couldn’t hurt him with either punches or Genjutsu. Instead, she just stared him down, to anyone normal, her aura would seem to swallow the person whole. Her aura was dark with purple tips, acting like flames behind her. “This is the last time I ask and the only time at that. Stop going into my head.”

Re: Phantom Family
Azrael would let out a soft sigh as he watched his younger sister strike the tree, that couldn't be good for her hands. She would demand that he stay out of her head, yet did not sever the connection that was created by the embrace. So he would not get the hint that she did not like him in her head, as if she truly wanted him out she could simply cast him out. His Genjutsu would remain in effect, Kami unable to see him only herself alone as her fear in his stead. Azrael would consider this for several minutes as he watched her, she saw it, and she admitted it, yet she was unable to conquer it like she needed to in order to break the Genjutsu. Azrael was unsure if it was due to the fact that her own Akayurei was not fully developed or if it was because she lacked the mental will to achieve what was needed.
Rather than continue with what was obviously not working, Azrael would instead use the Genjutsu power of the Akayurei to adjust what the woman saw, she would probably get mad as he was still inside her head, though he didn't understand nor would he care if he did. She needed to learn, if she was to truly be his sister she had to accept it, as that was how she would conquer her fear. If he had to show her, then that was what he was going to do.
The image of the lone girl with her stuff animal would shift to a scene that he had pulled from her memories just moments earlier of the same aged girl with her stuffed animal alone in her room. With just a minor adjustment, rather than the girl being alone it would show her playing with a younger version of Azrael. He would not be changing her memories in the slightest way, merely showing her what it could have been. The first scene would fade into another memory where Kami was alone, older than she was in the first, sitting and crying. Once again it would distort and Azrael would be there holding out his hand to comfort her. More of these semi-altered memories would cycle through, Kami would no they were not real memories as her true memories would remain the same, Azrael just hoped to get the message through to her.
This time when he spoke she would not hear it in her mind, but as a disembodied voice from the forest, his whisper carried upon the wind. "If We had known, Kami Yurei would not have been alone. Kami Yurei is no longer alone, Kami Yurei has This One now." At those words the illusion would return to that of the younger lonely Kami with her stuffy, only this time Azrael would be standing next to her holding his hand out for the girl to take it. Unfortunately this was where his help ended as it was up to the woman to conquer her own fear, and through that acceptance find herself free. Of course if she resisted she would find herself forever trapped by fear.
