Clan History/Description
It is generally thought that the original Græy Family existed sometime around 400 A.S just before the invasion of the Uchiha held Land of Fire by the Tetsudashi. From those years down to today, the family has remained relatively hidden in a seemingly overt world. Such secrecy can primarily be attributed to the fact that the Græys' remain unaffiliated to any of the ninja villages. And although their origins point to Amegakure, that theory remains baseless and can easily be refuted. The fact remains that The Founding Twins were not the original Græys although their genealogy became predominantly known and accepted as the only Græy family. Questions remain unanswered about how the Græys came to settle in Amegakure. The following information is privileged even within the clan. The Founding Twins only passed this information onto their successors who in turn passed it onto the next head(s) of the family, and so for generations the true history of the Græy family has remained a carefully guarded secret that even most members of the family know nothing about.

In the year 132 A.S., the last disciple Hihoni of the Fire passed away, prompting the independence march of multiple clans of which the Græy were included. Prior to this event, they lived in subjugation under the vast Kazehana Empire. With the struggle for dominance that ensued during the preceding years, the Græys with their Hiden Technique were no match for clans with superior kekkei genkais and thus in the year 351 A.S., were defeated and forced to flee into the uninhabited Land of Rain. There they remained for the next 50 years, growing in number. At this point a few Græys decided to leave to other parts of the world, taking their Hiden Technique with them. Within the family, they became popularly known as Wandering/Drifting Græys. Eventually, the remaining Græys would end up getting killed off due to internal squabbles by The Founding Twins, leaving themselves as the surviving Græys who now possessed a kekkei genkai that could rival those of the stronger clans. The descendants of The Founding Twins are referred to as Purebloods. Further information on this can be found HERE. However, they are not the only Græys in existence as they did not kill the Græys who had already left Amegakure for other parts of the world. These Græys would come to learn the original Hiden Technique of the family from their parents but did not come to possess the clan's new kekkei genkai. They would marry into other clans and end up having entirely different bloodline abilities that differ from the purebred Græys.

Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics
The lore reveals that there are basically two types of Græys:
** Græys who left before the massacre occurred known as Drifters, and
** Græys who became born of The Founding Twins, known as Purebloods.

The Wandering Græys or Drifters do not have access to the family's bloodline ability. However, they can learn the family's Hiden Technique as this does not require any biological or physiological composition and can be learned while possessing the bloodline of another clan. So if one is termed as a Drifter within the Græy clan, they can also be a part of an entirely different clan and have a bloodline ability like Storm release or the Sharingan.

On the other hand, Purebred Græys or Purebloods are Græys whose ancestry has not been mixed with other clans and who are direct descendants of The Founding Twins. These Græys innately possess the clan's bloodline ability and are also taught the clan's Hiden Technique.

When one joins the Græy Family, they must specify if their character will be made as a Drifter or as a Pureblood.

Bloodline Description & Abilities
Much like the canonic Nara Clan and their Hiden Technique which allows them to generate and manipulate Shadows, the Græys have a unique Hiden Technique which allows them to generate and manipulate Vibrations or Seismic waves through the use of Inton (Yin release). This is entirely different from their bloodline and is in fact a Hiden Technique passed on secretly from generation to generation within the clan. Sufficient application of their inborn Yin chakra enables the generation, shaping, manipulation and application of vibration/seismic waves in different ways to produce effects resembling those of earthquakes. The Græys are immune to the harmful effects of vibration.

Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks

If one is a Wandering/Drifting Græy with a bloodline from another clan, they must pay 250 EXP to unlock this Hiden Technique.

Purebred Græys who have already paid the necessary EXP amount for access to the Græy family's bloodline do not need to pay any additional fee to unlock this Hiden Technique. However, if they want to unlock this Hiden Technique first, they must pay 250 EXP, after which they will only need to pay half of the required EXP cost to unlock their bloodline.

Since this is not a bloodline but a Hiden Technique, anyone can learn it. However, they must first seek permission from the Græy Family's Head. If the permission is granted, they will be taught by the Family Head or another qualified Græy chosen by the Family Head.

Description: The most basic Seismic Manipulation technique passed on within the family, Zittern der Welt is used by Græys to generate seismic waves in gases (air), liquids (water), and solids (ground). These vibrations can range from subtle and low-powered, causing someone to lose their balance, to violent and high-powered which can shake the ground, cause earthquakes and even shatter objects. These seismic waves can be released in the incorporeal form as blasts, waves, surges, beams, orbs, etc. Or they can be shaped into physical/tangible constructs like spikes, pillars, chains, walls, etc.
