Tengoku had his back placed to a tree facing the river. His long white hair flowing around his torso as he laid each of his sheathed swords around himself. To one side sat a blade in black and reds. The steel clearly of the tetsudashi clan but also it had its own history. A man who had both steel and lava release created the blade for him...where as a senju miserable in life had crafted its hilt from senju wood before he met his end at his own hand. The sword to his right was known as Kurokiba alpha. However the Senju had broken a weaker blade before. The Haganenokiba that had been Tengokus first sword. Now it was reforged. The blade's steel is held together by melted gold tracing that overlays the shards' edges with embossed images of hibiscus and lotus flowers. It is housed in a glass sheathe that has been bonded to the hilt with craftsman's lacquer. It was a weaker blade that sat to his left. A memory more than a weapon. In front of him though was not a katana like the other two. Instead it was one of the treasures of Konoha. Tengoku Kaeri no Ken ~ 天国 帰りの剣..... A Wakizashi made of the finest materials and specifically for Tengoku Shinku, the Paladin of Konoha. With a blade of Midnight Ore and a hilt of Adamantite wrapped with Magnetic Metal; Tengoku Kaeri no Ken has no equal. It is delicately etched with images of storms and wolves, each engraving meticulously inlaid with gold to subtly enhance the black metal surface. It’s sheath is made of the same metals, adding strength to even its protective covering and has ties made of Magnetic Metal affixed to the sheath with more Midnight Ore and set with small rubies. The clever combining of the different metals gives the sheath a mottled appearance that is both aesthetically pleasing and unique.
Tengoku himself did not appear to wear any armor....but that was a lie. There was some fame around the rings of golden feathers around his exposed upper arms, wrists and ankles. They were known as The Paladin’s Angelic Feathers. At a whim they would unfold into armor over his arms, forearms and shins. His robes were sleeveless for this purpose. A bright yellow on inner black with shinobi sandals on his feet. A gourd containing an artifact known as the hero water still hung from his waist. While his eyes were the strangest of all. The whites of his eyes were pitch black with a golden slit through the center. Like a cats despite his wolf like ears poking out the top of his hair. Here he would sit cross legged and taking in the crisp air of the morning setting in the artificial woods. He had sent out three letters to three promising individuals from different back grounds. Two of them were the same age of eighteen while one was twenty. Matured a little more he would hope. The first was Airi Ohara. A Hyuga that was shunned by many it seemed. Her eyes were not the constant white of the Hyuga. An interesting twist which had brought her misery. However she had persevered and he was curious about the gentle fist.
The second also did not take her clans name....and was perhaps the flip side of the same coin. Hanabi Inuzaka was of the Uchiha clan. He was unsure of if she had unlocked her sharingan but her clan was more prevalent. By some gap more so than any other clan. Holding office as Hokage more than anyone one else combined. Their power could not be denied though she had some issues with her history. Still her quality was perseverance as well. Finally there was Taco Senju. An eager taijutsu specialist and of the Senju bloodline no less. All three clans sending their young representatives to train with the Hokage himself. It would be up to them to learn what they could. Be it Tacos and Airis shared interest in taijutsu....or perhaps his powerful raiton affinity would peak for Airi's interests. Perhaps Hanabi would focus into the kenjutsu he would teach her. All of it would be up to them.
