Kanara would, naturally and thanks to her clans dojutsu, be able to see how Naganori didn't seem too impressed by the fact that she planned to shoot him with fire. In fact, he even went as far as to bring out a technique that seemed to shield him from her attacks, at least physical ones. As they exchanged their attacks, Kanara noted how the light seemed to persist. This could only mean that her opponent was alive and well. This meant that she needed to increase the odds. Thinking about all the techniques that she read about in the back of her head, she would come to the conclusion that this battle maybe was a good point to try out something new.
Not getting to attack her next original target, that being the owl, she would recap and memorise naganori's attack, a sphere of light expanded from his hands. While certainly, it had been fast, considerably fast at that even, Kanara was still much faster, a fact which she used to get away from it. In fact, she went away far more than she needed, as she saw the maximum range of the technique being apparently 5 meters or so. Regardless... it didn't matter. She needed space for what she was about to do anyways. Performing the hand seals needed for the shadow clone jutsu, something she had read about a long time ago, but never quite found the right time to use or actually learn, she would whisper to herself:
"Please work how I saw you do before..." before shouting out the techniques name:
"Shadow clone Jutsu!" As a clone appeared next to her with a
"poof"-ing sound, it immediately knew what needed to be done and rushed to Yuichi in much less than a second, not even taking the time to explain and just grabbing him, halfway pushing and pulling him away from Naganori, while Kanara, the real Kanara, was on in her preparations for her next attack. Forming a series of hand seals, slower than usually, her gaze sternly locked onto her hands, she would stop at the last one and begin to knead the chakra within her, heating it up for an attack that would almost certainly make a difference.
However, before she actually spoke the magic words, her mind noticed a change in her opponents way of engaging her. The madman was actually approaching her. Was he even realizing what he was getting himself into at this very moment? Taking a few more of her high-speed steps back, an easy endeavor for Kanara, she would maintain distance and give a surprisingly excited giggle towards the Kumokagure shinobi:
"So we are really playing with things like that, huh? And here I was being worried about overdoing it now." While Kanara had been busy preparing her attack, her clone had already let go of Yuichi, after making sure he was off at a safe distance. Sprinting off into the woods behind the owl and Naganori, it would sweet the trees and make sure no one was in the area of harm that soon was to follow and unleash its wrath upon her enemy.
Lowering herself into a characteristic pose known to be taken when using fire techniques, Kanara would bring out:
"KATON: GOUKA MESSHITU!", before unleashing a stream, no, an entire sea of flames at the "visitor" and its flying steed. With the fire coming at Naganori at A-rank speed, burning the grass just from the heat that radiated off of it, instead of its touch, and giving the formerly killed insects a ride straight to Valhalla, Kanara was sure that this attack would hit.

Description: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the user's body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a massive stream of intense flames that can set a vast area ablaze, engulfing the target in a veritable sea of flames. If used upon a dense, combustible terrain, such as a forest, the confined area can greatly increase the possibility of the target's incineration. The user may choose to continue the technique as a flamethrower, much like it's parent technique Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.

Description: The Shadow Clone technique creates replicas of the user, similar to the Clone Technique, but these clones are corporeal instead of illusions. Clones spawn next to the user. The clones are capable of performing techniques, including the Shadow Clone Technique itself, on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force. The clones can also disperse on their own or be dispelled by the user of the technique. This technique splits the user's chakra equally amongst however many clones they create.
Weaknesses: In addition, the user must maintain general concentration to maintain their clone's presence. If at any time the user is inflicted with heavy damage in contrast with their Constitution all clones will be dispersed. Also the user must not fall under the exhaustion threshold (below 30 CP) to maintain or create clones. Clones have a max base Constitution of C (or lower if the user's base constitution is lower). If the user has natural S-Tier Constitution then it can be improved to B. If a clone has lower than 30 chakra, they will also be subject to the exhaustion penalty as per the Stamina rules.
