Contract Name: Iwatomics Incorporated Integrated Rapid Response Enforcers & Pneuma Engineering Division
Type: Artificial Creature
Specimen: Biomystical Automaton 'Warmachina'
Culture/Lore: A recently created summon, made by Diana E. Moneta & Titania Leveilleur of Iwatomics Incorperated in an attempt to mass produce workers to ease the lives of those around them. Inspired from a Kotōshura legend she once heard in her youth of a Terracotta Army made to serve and protect the Earth Sage & the previous Tsuchikages after their passing, she has been working on the creation of the contract for several years due to the sheer complexity of making a contract for a species that doesn't properly exist yet. Derived from the Iwa Kinjutsu, the Gozu Tennō, the puppetry data from Cerise's late father, and the data she gathered from the Indaina Kujira; by amalgamating all of this knowledge and more Diana created a living puppet more in line with a golem, a biomystical race Titania (poorly) nicknamed 'Warmachina' as their first deployment was going to be for the war effort. The first one created was named Irene, disconnected from the contract and of which the summoning contract's acronym was named after.
Made of Diluted Senju Wood, Tetsudashi Steel & Korikane Crystal as their base, with a fuinjutsu core derived from the Gozu Tennō and imbued with Dark Chakra with the Iwa Kinjutsu to negate any elemental strengths or weaknesses, they can take a variety of humanoid shapes and sizes. (Disclaimer: Iwatomics Incorperated is not liable for those who think that because the Warmachina are made of several bloodline-related materials that they share the same properties as said materials. They do not have said properties and said materials should be treated as 'RP flavor' and not 'RP mechanics'.) However while being made of Earth-aligned elements, an unexpected reaction with the Cube 'Key' she obtained gave them the ability to generate Wind from inside them. Iwatomics Researchers believe it is either a representation of the 'breath of life' they had been given; a way to assist in defending the Earth Nation from Raiton, the natural weakness of the nation's element; or a strange reaction to the Meiton Chakra. Whatever the reason may be, they are indeed alive in some fashion, being able to experience joy, fear, pain, and many other emotions.
The design of the Warmachina are humanoid in shape, though some have modifications such as wings or air jets for flight. Generally, while the lower end of models are often closer to humanoid puppets that a Kugutsu user would have, the more advanced ones look like actual people. All of them however share the same traits of looking 'fake': Skin made of wood, crystal and/or metal, translucent hair, unnatural pupils; one can tell from a glance that they are not human, easily invoking an uncanny valley feeling in many of the middle range of models. As much as Diana attempted to make them look as human as possible, using herself as the base template and then iterating upon it with advanced technology (read: a heavily refurbished Core from the Idaina Kujira) she dubbed an 'eldritch machine' due to the complexity of it all and was probably not the best idea given her own body's mutations & a Kotōshura-brand version of Iwa's Golem technique. (Iwatomics Incorperated denies any usage of the proper Iwagakure Golem Technique in the creation and design of the Warmachina. While an Iwa Earth Golem and a C2; Model Golem look and act similar, they are two different jutsu in both form and function. And just like the materials they are made of, Warmachina do not have said properties of said jutsu, and should be treated as 'RP flavor' and not 'RP mechanics'.)
As the Warmachina are extremely new to Kishin for many a reason, their culture has yet to be properly fleshed out, not even having a proper land to call their own like many a contract (namely the animals). Most of the automatons with higher though functions are inquisitive of the world around them, desiring to try new things, be it simple pleasure like eating or complex arts such as painting. A few things have solidified themselves early on though: They all seem to have a distaste for what 'Step-Uncle Kujira' caused to the shinobi world, their general enjoyment of the sun, and a fascination with dreams. Diana's theory as to why they were able to function as easily as they can is due to yokai reminiscent of the Hinnagami or Tsukumogami inhabiting their body, but she isn't even confident in that theory given how they act.
Designated Element: Fuuton (Wind)
Designated Skill: Kyujutsu (Archery)
Summoning Method: By placing blood on a surface as one would a regular summon, instead of smoke forming a spiral portal appears where the blood was placed, the summoned Warmachina quickly exiting out of the portal in some form before closing. Attempting to go through the portal doesn't work, however when their time is up the Warmachina will poof like any other summon, though the clouds seem to give off a minescule electric charge.
Requirements: The user must have signed the summoning contract, and once signed gain an ever-shifting seal designating them as a summoner. If one has this seal removed (seal complexity is equal to the user's stamina), they will lose the ability to access these summons for the rest of the thread as the seal takes it's time to reform on to the user by itself.
Exclusive Perks/Drawbacks:
Integrated Protection
➤Warmachina are made of some of the toughest chakra-based materials out there, and as such can take more hits then the standard summon. For 5 CP they can toggle a 1 tier boost to their Con at the cost of -1 tier to their speed.
Iwatomics Standard Training
➤As users of the Bow and Arrow, Warmachina are expected to be able to preform handseals with with either 1 or two hands depending on the situation. All Warmachina can preform jutsu with 1 hand at a -1 tier coordination penalty.
