1 B-Rank
- Shadow Clone:
Name: Shadow Clone Technique
Rank: B
Power: -
Activation Cost: -
Upkeep Cost: -
Range: 1 km.
Speed: -
Element: -
Skill: Ninjutsu
Classification: General Technique
Requirements: -
Parent Technique: -
Hand Seals: Clone seal or Tiger
Description: The Shadow Clone technique creates replicas of the user, similar to the Clone Technique, but these clones are corporeal instead of illusions. Clones spawn next to the user. The clones are capable of performing techniques, including the Shadow Clone Technique itself, on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force. The clones can also disperse on their own or be dispelled by the user of the technique. This technique splits the user's chakra equally amongst however many clones they create. Once a clone disperses all of the knowledge it has gained is transferred to the user.
Weaknesses: In addition, the user must maintain general concentration to maintain their clone's presence. If at any time the user is inflicted with heavy damage in contrast with their Constitution all clones will be dispersed. Also the user must not fall under the exhaustion threshold (below 30 CP) to maintain or create clones. Clones have a max base Constitution of C (or lower if the user's base constitution is lower). If the user has natural S-Tier Constitution then it can be improved to B. If a clone has lower than 30 chakra, they will also be subject to the exhaustion penalty as per the Stamina rules.
2 A-Ranks
- Four Pillar Binding:
Name: Lightning Release: Four Pillar Binding
Rank: A
Power: A
Activation Cost: 20
Upkeep Cost: 10
Range: 0-250m
Speed: A
Element: Lightning
Skill: Ninjutsu
Classification: N/A
Requirements: N/A
Parent Technique: N/A
Hand Seals: Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare
Description: Four, 30 meter tall rock pillars are summoned around the enemy, each at a 50 meter distance away. Once being established, one by one the pillars are electrified and they release bolts of lightning that electrify the area surrounded by the pillars, electrocuting anything caught in it and leaving a basin below where the lightning tore up the technique's surroundings. Despite being part of the Raiton technique, the pillars are weak to Raiton like any other earth composition would, and they take an extra tier of damage. In addition, they withstand up to A-Rank damage, but are required for the technique to work.
Weaknesses: Should an opponent hit one of the pillars hard enough, whether they're inside of the attack range or outside of it, they'll cancel out the technique by destroying said pillar.
- Lightning Shadow Clone:
Name: Lightning Release: Lightning Shadow Clone
Rank: A
Power: A
Activation Cost: 20
Upkeep Cost: -
Range: 1km
Speed: N/A
Element: Lightning
Skill: Ninjutsu
Classification: General
Requirements: Shadow Clone
Parent Technique: Shadow Clone
Hand Seals: Clone seal or Tiger
Description: This technique allows the user to make a shadow clone infused with lightning. Because it is a shadow clone, it is able to perform techniques and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance; and also evenly distributes the user's chakra to each clone. If the clone is injured, it will revert to its natural lightning-state, at the same time electrocuting whatever has physical contact with it, hitting it for A-Rank potency.
Weaknesses: Unlike a regular Shadow Clone, this clone does not send chakra back to the user upon reverting to lightning. In addition, this follows the regular weakness with the parent technique, in that the user's clones will disperse if they're hit by heavy damage in contrast to Constitution, or go under 30% of their Stamina.
1 S-Rank
- Sixteen Pillar Binding:
Name: Lightning Release: Sixteen Pillar Binding
Rank: S
Power: S
Activation Cost: 25
Upkeep Cost: 20
Range: 50m
Speed: S
Element: Raiton
Skill: Ninjutsu
Classification: Open
Requirements: None
Parent Technique: Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind
Hand Seals: Rat → Monkey → Horse
Description: A more powerful variant of the parent technique, this jutsu forms sixteen stone pillars that encase the target in an oven-like structure. Once formed, the pillars discharge a powerful electrical current to damage the target and anything else caught within.
Weaknesses: The pillars can be shattered by S-Tier Strength, thereby disabling the technique. The Activation Cost of this technique increases to 30 if there are no preexisting pillars created by the parent technique.
Running down the street pulling a large cart filled with massive musical instruments, was a little genin.
"Comin' throoooough!" He'd shout, announcing his presence to any unaware pedestrians. Atop the cart was a courier in a state of near deathly panic, as she was clinging tightly to the ropes that tied down double basses, tubas, and a piano. He'd been isolating himself out in the Land of Snow for months. Shortly after he'd gotten out he'd done a mission or two, but no matter how far he ran he could not escape Ananta. Yet still he ran.
Absolute Terror
Young, afraid, tired. Naganori was no more than ten when he was given the seal. He was on his hands and knees. Steam and smoke rose from his body. Ragged breaths came from raw lungs. The boy was drenched in sweat the soaked through the simple, worn clothes he had on into the cold stone beneath him. His muscles shook as he barely held himself up.
"Aw, little snakelet," He could hear her breath rustle his hair as long, cold finger lifted her chin to force him to look into golden, serpentine eyes. She'd continue.
"My sweet child, you know the rules. It's him or," She turned the little snake's attention towards a man. He was naked, shaking, bound, and covered in unspeakable wet. The portly merchant knew he'd eventually be paid his due, but this was-
"You." The boys weary eyes trembled, but no tears could come out. His breath picked up in anticipation, and he wasn't left to wait long. As the hand left from his chin, electricity danced from his chest again. Bright lights flashed on the bound man's body as his feet squirmed against the ground and his neck wrenched his head from side to side. The sound of whistling birds and cracking from the light's source, played a gruesome under score as the only sound accompanying the gagged man's wails. The bound man looked frantically above his eyeline, and then back down repeatedly in disgust and horror, but also________ ______.
He ran. He ran further. He ran faster. He ran as fear-laced breaths caught in his throat. Little Nagi pulled the cart lost in a daze as he moved closer towards the residential district. Though the roads grew more narrow, there were fewer people. Time had numbed the courier. Putting an end to her panic as time so often does to fear. Her composure regained she'd resumed instructing the running genin through the street paths guiding him into the most efficient routes.
That Knows
Dancing lights and grunting would end, and not a moment would pass before Ananta would hiss,
"Very good Snakelet. Again." Rat → Monkey → Horse. Though trembling hands would go through the signs nothing would happen as the boy would fall to one knee. A stone box before him would crumble revealing a woman Ex-Black Ops, a missing nin, burns littering her exposed skin, but she'd out lasted the chakra reserves of her torturer. A look of pity and disdain fell onto the boy as he crumbled from both women.
"Up." The command was simple. Compliance, that was near impossible. Quivering arms quickly found ground as the boy scrambled again to his feet.
"Good. Now try again my sweet boy." The bound woman swore that the boy blinked, and when his eyes opened back up there was something missing in them. She was tired though, and her body, it wouldn't last much longer. The boy knew that. If he could get this jutsu off one more time, he could avoid the pain. He knew needed someone or something. He just needed one glimmer of light to pierce through the darkness. She could free him from this hell. This kid had obviously been brainwashed, but he could kill Ananta, free her from her binds, and she could get her gear to get both of them out of their Hells. She bit through her gag, spitting it out to shout. Rat → Monkey → Horse. The look in her eyes wasn't new to the boy. She thought she knew terror as wall enclosed her, but she was wrong. That was only a taste before she died. The charred husk of somebody that fell to the ground as the pillars crumbled said it plainly: He would always be alone. He would always remain to be the only one ____ _____.
At first the memories were distant, and Nagi just remembered the cold darkness Ananta's lion had dragged him into. The sweet perspiration of clouds drenched the warm stone beneath Nagi's running feet, precipitated sweat that made fear puddles. As Nagi grew soaked in the bone-chilling wet, the sounds of the world became muted, except forth the pitter of his feet that pattered in tempo with his racing heart as he ran.
No End
A man now. Naganori stood at Ananta's side.
"Do it." Silent, stilled hands would raise up forming the shadows of more snakelets over the bound bodies of three criminals. Rat → Monkey → Horse. A woman now. Ananta watched while her reflection was strapped down screaming. The reflections bones cracking and popping beneath skin. steam and smoke emitting from it as fat and muscle grew, necrotized, and moved beneath skin. Ananta watched. Silver spikes in the reflections tenketsu danced with electricity.
"Aw, you're dancing so much, snakelet." A man now. Naganori made seals. Rat → Monkey → Horse. He watched them think they knew terror. A woman now. The reflection screamed out, fighting to keep something important. A man now. Rat → Monkey → Horse. A woman now. The reflection twisted and burned. A man now, Rat → Monkey → Horse, and a woman now a cindered reflection. A man now. A woman now. A man now. A woman now. Until between the two there was no beginning and there was __ ___.
As, for the fourth time, the name was called, Nagi snapped back to his senses.
"You've run past it." A bright, goofy smile would spread across the little genin's face.
"My bad boss lady." With an embarrassed chuckle, Nagi would begin unloading the cart.
