Crafter Training #2

Keita was right back into his little makeshift workshop that he had made out of an extra room he had in the house he was allowed to have as a genin of the village, and this time he was thinking of making some armor. He was still using the cement mix for this practice, as there was something that he wanted to check. It was tough and unwieldy, and really hard to actually work with, but he liked the cement mix because he could practice a large number of times before he actually needed to stop, as the batch3es he could make in the cement mixer was fairly large. As he was waiting for the cement to mix, he got out the molds and fired by some sort of kiln that he had that allowed him to heat the poured molds so that he could work on them faster. Soon, the cement was mixed and he pulled out ten different molds, each looking like that of a crude bracer that fit over the forearm. These bracers came in a pair, and that's how he would sell them, if he could actually sell these things. If the kunai were any indication, these bracers would look really nice once they were polished, and Keita was going to do just that. He poured all of the mix into the molds and needed to simply wait for a while.

Keita waited for a bit for the concrete to finish setting up, and when it did, he simply unscrewed the nails in the molds, allowing them to come off of the cement. The wood grain was slightly stuck to the cement, so it was a bit hard to pry them off, but when he had done so, he was left with the bracers that just needed some sanding and polishing. Keita got to work on opening all five sets of the gauntlets up out of their molds before placing them on a shelf. The shelf was simple, and it was really just there to hold items for him to polish them in order. He got to sanding, and he used a saw sander, where he placed it in a vice before moving it closer to a crank operated sanding wheel, almost like a grinding wheel, but for sand paper. After grinding all five sets, which took about an hour or two, he decided that he would take a break, get some food, and come back in a bit to polish them. After they were all polished to an almost mirror like sheen, he placed them in a box, so that he could give them out or sell them, as they sort of looked like art pieces.

Finished the Crafting, would have ended on 11/01/2021, this will put Keita at B ranked armor crafting and use 10 units of cement mix
