It was always good to take time and hone your skills. If you sat around for too with a carefully crafted blade and didn't take the time to sharpen it every once in a while eventually it would grow dull and rusty. The same went for anything, may it be mental or physical. Yumi was one of the more self conscious people about it, given her lack of one certain important skill. To make up for it, she had to train the others especially hard. It was why, today, she had called for some of her fellow genin to participate in a bit of friendly training. Perhaps some sparring, practicing, that sort of thing.
The Kaguya picked a certain spot for this little session, a clearing by the edge of a cliff within Kiri's territory, overlooking a slim stream down at the bottom. To be frank it was a perfect spot for training, secluded and holding a variety of stuff to train off of. You could climb the cliff or practice jutsu within the water. The possibilities were endless, if you weren't afraid of heights, of course.
The only person who she knew would be coming was Mikoto, although that was more for her own comfort than anything else. Having a person she actually knew there would quell nerves of meeting unfamiliar faces, no matter how many would end up turning up. The Kaguya had posted a request on the bulletin board so she wasn't actually sure who or how many would turn up. Hopefully, with some luck, it would be more than her and the Uzumaki, although her hopes weren't particularly high given her lackluster socializing.
Yumi sat upon a bare log on this sunny afternoon as she awaited for people to arrive, sliding a rock against her blade to sharpen it a little more before they got here. The ring rang out through the forest, undoubtfully alerting anyone who may hear it to her location.
