Shortly after departing the small village Konoha had attacked, the airship suffered a malfunction that brought it down into a mountainous area between locations. Crash landing, Rin had expertly avoided The Nimbus being destroyed, but it was out of commission for the time being. The two spent a week in the mountains before finally being picked up by some local sheepherders. Spending some time with them to recover their wounds, Seigi realized that in order to get to the Summit in time, he would need to leave directly from here. Direction Rin to go to Kumo to tell them his intentions, Seigi would leave for the Kage Summit directly from The Land of Hot Springs.
