Exp 200/2150 (remaining/total, including exp from trades)
Unique Abilities:
Chemistry Finesse: On account of her personal experience in creating chemical concoctions, Fujikawa is able to craft chemistry items one tier higher than her intelligence would normally allow.
Appearance:
Fujikawa is...tall. Standing at 190cm and weighing 80kg, one would not be mistaken for thinking she is the descendent of some giant or other abnormally large offshoot of humanity but no, it is simple genetics at work. The abnormalities of her form continue sporting red hair and red eyes. The eyes are natural but the hair? That she dyes, as its natural colour of auburn makes her look FAR too like her mother and she understandably does not want to look like that.
Fashion wise, she honestly looks like a femme fatale from a space opera. Black bodysuit, heels, a cape, puffed collar? You could put her alongside Palpatine, and her sense of fashion would not look out of place at all. One might wonder why she has such an outfit but as should be clear, Fujikawa is a very eccentric person with little concern for what is considered normal. However, she does adopt more “ordinary” clothing when her mood demands it but for making an impression, it is the evil space emperor outfit all the way.

History:
- history:
As with pretty much everyone, Fujikawa’s story begins with her parents and their own obsession. Both of her parents wished to, through years of training and selective breeding, create the greatest family of summoners the world had ever seen. Fujikawa was originally intended to be the next link in a chain that had been running for a few generations and as such, her early years on Nagi Island were quite pleasant.
Her partners invested a lot of time and effort into her training, caring for her physical and emotional needs until it became apparent that she was totally lacking any natural aptitude for summoning and then they simply abandoned her. Her parents did continue to raise her, but only the bare minimum, and the moment they had a second daughter, all their attention was focused on them.
This set of circumstances invites one simple question: If Fujikawa was so useless to her parents and no longer worth the investment of training, then why did they keep her around? Simple: cheap labour. She was essentially treated, from age ten onwards, as little more than an indentured servant. Cooking, cleaning and other chores were left to her, all so her younger sister could focus on her studies.
This turned out to be a total mistake. As the years rolled by the sheer difference in treatment between herself and her younger sister made Fujikawa bitter. Forgotten birthdays, being denied education, simply forgotten and just ignored. The family affection a lot of people take for granted were denied to her. Luckily enough, the rare and occasional visit from her uncle gave her a few chances to have joy in her life. In fact, this uncle was actually the one who smuggled text books in to assist in Fujikawa's education.
As the years rolled on, Fujikawa grew angrier, angrier and angrier, often acting out only to be punished. Being locked in her room, being denied meals, verbal abuse and other means of “correcting” her behaviour were employed until eventually she decided to take advantage of the situation. What before was simply neglect now turned into outward punishment.
Eventually, Fujikawa learned how to get by while still enjoying what few sources of joy she had. She played subservient and submissive, pretending to surrender herself to her parents and their neglectful demands but all the while, she was planning. She had learned an awful lot from her parents. The value of subtly, how to lie, ways to slink and sneak around them.
As the years rolled by and both Fujikawa sisters developed two very different skill sets, the elder became a practiced medical ninja, chemist and rookie summoner while the younger was the opposite. Skilled in Taijutsu, water ninjutsu and obviously summoning, the two had little in common but the biggest difference was soon to become apparent: Fujikawa acquired a summoning contract, having been approached by restless spirits during one of her attempts to escape her family.
It was mostly in thanks to these spirits of the vengeful dead, who had refused to move on due to personal grudges, egging her on that she formed a plan. A plan to take revenge, a plan to flee from her family and pursue an agenda that would deprive them of one thing they had desired: The Naga Island snake contract. It took years, mostly due to Fujikawa biding her time to lure her parents into a false sense of security, but once she hit her mid-twenties and the day of her sister’s thirteenth birthday rolled around she was ready.
Being the only decent baker in the family, Fujikawa was saddled with the job of baking the cake. It was a delightful sponge cake, decorated with frosting, candles and all the other accoutrements one would escape from a cake but with one little surprise hidden inside: an explosive paper tag, positioned next to a bottle of acid. It was an easy matter to use the knowledge that had, for years, kept her family hale and hearty to create acidic compounds.
The cake was cut, the tag exploded, and the trap was sprung. Amid the screams of fright, pain and terror Fujikawa fled the family’s house, running from Nagi Island all the way to Kirigakure, leaving everything behind except her knowledge and summoning contract. From there, acquiring citizenship, enrolling in the academy and graduating was a rather simple affair.

- One of the most integral elements of Fujikawa’s personality is her deep-set nihilistic viewpoint of everything. Religious and moral principles are meaningless things, concepts simply thrown about to justify one thing or another. In fact, her nihilist perspective is so deep set that she thinks all aspects of a person’s life are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. People are born, people die. It is all an endless and repetitive cycle, with no inherent meaning.
You may think her nihilist perspective means she is the most depressing, soul crushing and miserable person around but...nope! She is the exact opposite. She is lively, warm, vibrant, fun loving and surprisingly optimistic all down to one simple extension of her nihilist viewpoint: If life is inherently meaningless, then simply make your own through your actions.
Art, personnel connections, friendship, deeds. Religious and moral imperatives may be transitory things, but you know what is not? The acts you have done. Your memory of them. Those give meaning to one’s life, especially when you factor in her beliefs on how the most valuable thing one can leave behind is their ideas. These are how she adds meaning to her life.
This lively and vibrant nature extends into her general persona as surprisingly, for a woman who threw acid at her sibling, she can be the ultimate example of a big sister. Supportive, warm, affectionate, aggressively protective and prone to strong emotional attachment but she is no way a “proper lady.” Fujikawa could be described as a hellion, very anti-traditionalist and a downright hellraiser when she wants to be. It is no wonder she is so stubbornly independent and confidently brash.
However, she is by no means a good person. Fujikawa can be spiteful, bitter and prone to a considerable amount of envy which makes her total disregard for moral imperatives a concerning risk. This is the woman who, while growing up, took revenge on her sister after years of favouritism and emotional abuse by throwing acid at them without feeling the slightest bit of guilt. To put it simply, hatred and vengeance are emotional states that come VERY easily to her.
All this waxing about philosophical perspective and base behaviour is well and good but what about hobbies? Motivations? These core things that everyone has. Well, in the case of motivation it is a topic we have touched on before: spite. As straight out stated, Fujikawa has bad blood with her family. This bad blood, and the fiery embers it has set smouldering in her heart, are the origin of her motivator. She is out to prove her family wrong, spite fuelling a desire to return to them one day and arrogantly prove them wrong.
Day to day motives are simple to understand though. Cover living expenses, keep moving forward, survive, enhance her skills and just...make progress. Making progress is about as simple and basic as her day to day drive can be summed up as.
Perhaps this is a little obvious and cliche but Fujikawa likes to cook, bake and simply make food. For her it is both an extension of her chemistry obsession but also something she had retreated to in her youth, a source of comfort and reassurance but why would somebody as bold, arrogant and brazen as Fujikawa ever need emotional reassurance? Well, people change. As a closing note, she does have some delusions of grandeur.
To sum up Fujikawa’s other hobbies, she generally enjoys spending time with animals. It does not matter what species, what they look like or how friendly they are. If it is an animal, she likes it…. provided it is not a domesticated animal. Domesticated animals are an unpleasant reminder of her childhood and fundamentally irritates her. She is also a fan of fishing, bird watching and just animal watching in general.
