Mission Time!

Tsuyo opened the door that led to the room containing the Mission Desk. She had a slip of paper in her right hand that appeared to be from an announcement board of some sort within the village. She had read that there was a group of bandits close by, but nobody knew where their base was. Being head of the Hyuga took up a lot of her time, but taking a mission close to the village wouldn't take too much time to do. Plus, it sounded like she was one of the few in the village who could do the mission without putting herself in too much danger.

She walked up to the desk and set the slip of paper down. "Do we have anything official about this? I saw someone that looked like a farmer tack it up on a board today and figured the village would know something about it." If there was something official, she would continue. "I'd like to investigate, please." Assuming she got the mission, Tsuyo would then turn and leave to go prepare herself before heading out.

"That'll be fine, Risuke-san. Report back when you've completed it." Haro finished the last assignment of what had once been a dreadfully long line of shinobi taking up new missions and turning in old ones. The Leaf Village employed a great many shinobi and it seemed like Haro was the one on duty during the busiest hours, the points in the days when most ninja were just wrapping up their missions and, eager to increase their income and their standing in the village, would go ahead and take up another mission while turning in their last, just to save a bit of time for themselves. While it may have been convenient for them, it made more work for those like Haro and the two Chuunin sitting on either side of him, who had to process all of these requests to ensure that everyone was kept track of. The Hokage wouldn't stand for any of his shinobi to fall into trouble and receive no backup due to misplaced or faultily handled paperwork.

As the last of the line walked away, Haro breathed a sigh of relief. He was just about ready to head home for the day, but it looked like there was one more shinobi to handle, and it wasn't just any ninja. "Ah, Hyuga-sama." Haro noted the woman with a term generally only used for leaders of clans. He looked over the paper that she slid onto the desk and recalled, "Oh, yes. We received that this morning. You can ta- Ah, Hokage-sama" The Jounin cut himself off at the sudden arrival of Kazuya, who briskly walked right to the mission desk without hardly even noticing Tsuyo.

"Here are all the approvals for the missions completed." The Uchiha shadow clone said, setting down a modest stack of paperwork on the desk. He looked over to the other side and saw the results of just the last few hours of mission turn-ins. "I'll take care of those while I'm here. Oh, Tsuyo, good to see you." Kazuya picked up the request she had given and added to what Haro was probably already going to say. "You have clearance to take this, of course. I would like for you to bring a Makoto Aburame along with you.
He's one of the Genin that haven't yet been assorted into teams and this could provide an excellent training opportunity." The Hokage said after looking over the mission to ensure that it was low risk. Tsuyo was the type to handle this in her sleep, so a Genin tag along was unlikely to be a hindrance. Plus, if she accepted, that meant one thing less for this clone to do. His next stop was to bring a mission to that very Genin.

Afterwards, he'd pick up the current stack of missions turn-ins and get started on filling those out.

Tsuyo did not say anything upon the Hokage entering the room, curious to see what he had to say. After a brief exchange, Kazuya approved her request for the mission with the caveat to take one Makoto Aburame along with her. "May I look at his file, Lord Hokage?" She wanted to get a good idea of what he could do as well as information on where he might be so she could retrieve him. Assuming Kazuya approved, she would first stop to grab his file so that she might read it on the way to her home to prepare herself. Afterwards, she would begin searching for the genin. It seemed as if she was to have a squad soon, however incomplete it may be as of now. Tsuyo made sure to bow her head at the Hokage before leaving, a token of respect after their tussle earlier in the week.

"Sure. The secretary on the first floor of the Government Building will give you all of the information you need." Normally, shinobi of even Jounin rank weren't permitted to take files of people within the village, or even to look at them without supervision. Tsuyo was the leader of the Hyuga Clan, however, and as such, a member of the Konoha Council, which was one of two organizations in the village that had the power to bypass most of the village's security measures. With the business at hand finished, the Kazuya clone returned Tsuyo's bow and continued on about his work, finishing up all the paperwork at the mission desk to lighten the load for the original back at the Hokage's Office.
