The mission was of a lower rank than ones she was usually on nowadays. She’d gotten used to running B ranked missions, handling large bandit camps, assassinations, and internal investigations involving genjutsu and other elements. So a C rank mission to take out some wolves that had gone rabid was certainly different to what the dark haired Uchiha was used to. However it was no less important to the village as a whole. A pack of wolves generally hunted what they needed to survive, no more, no less. A pack of rabid wolves however had been driven crazy and would hunt and kill for the sport of it. “One might even say they’re simply becoming more like us..” She muttered under her breath as she moved through the forest. Also odd from what norm was nowadays was that she had been assigned a partner for this mission. She hadn’t questioned it, if the powers that be wanted her to associate with more of the shinobi in the force, then so be it. She would do her duty for the village.
Arriving in the area of the pack's last known location she would instinctively activate her sharingan eyes and begin to look for signs. The three black tomoe upon the red sea would grant her incredible vision and foresight into what she saw. She could see the chakra signature of a man in the distance, her partner perhaps? She would move toward the individual, her hand upon the hilt of her own standard issue katana. As she got closer she could see that he had silver wolf ears, and a black fur coat. He almost looked like a large wolf himself if it wasn’t for the stark difference between his ears and back. Oh, and the whole standing upright thing, that was a clue too.
Landing not too far away from him, about ten meters or so. Close enough to tell him she was there to speak to him, but far enough away to not cause immediate alarm, Akari would keep her hand upon the hilt. Until he turned toward her to meet her eyes that was. When he did she would see the Konoha headband around his neck. Hers would be on her arm, openly visible. Her red blouse, black skirt, and black thigh high socks making a stark difference between his silvery black wolf motif. The ears however, looked real. That was different, but not something she would bring attention to yet. It was rude to do so and she did her best to not be uncivilized. Once his eyes met hers for a moment, he would avert his gaze, shy then? That was okay, she could do friendly. “Good morning, I am Akari Uchiha, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” She would say, a small smile on her features as she greeted her partner.
