Do Or Die: Shiro has the ability to ignore all pain for a single post no matter how great it might be. This doesn't mean he ignores damage at all, but if there's a wound he won't feel it. However after taking such a strain on his body, Shiro will pass out the following post and be knocked out cold for the duration of a single post as well which leaves him completely open to additional damage as well as possible bleedouts from the wounds he suffered. He will also take a - to Constitution for the rest of that topic, and this can only be used once per fight.
Second Wind - When Shiro gets to less than 10% of his total stamina amount he can get a "second wind" of sorts. This is a flat restoration of 25% of his stamina total, but if he uses this ability he gets a doubled exhaustion penalty.

Shiro stands at 1,78 meters, has red hair and and red eyes and usually wears cloaks suited to protect his body against the sandstorms known to the Sunagakure no Sato's desert. He wears his headband on his forehead.
History:
Shiro was born in the Hidden Sand village, to a couple of civilians who had really nothing to do with the Shinobi World. His parents owned a flower shop in the village which more than flowers also sold important medicinal plants found only in the desert surrounding Sunagakure no Sato. So from a very early age, he was taught in the ways of medicinal plants and crafts. The situation in Sunagakure no Sato after the plague was quite dire and he often went out to search for plants, animals or other resources he could get his hands on. The desert was often unforgiving and harsh, but his positive attitude and ca-do mindset helped him through these rough years.
Often when he could not go out to scavenge for food or resources due to banditry or other dangers in this unruled land, Shiro was forced to stay inside and the only company he kept were books. This was how he first found out about the secret art of the Sunagakure Puppet Squad, who would build puppets and launch or even ride them into battle. He became fascinated with this sort of art at a very early age and became eager to learn everything there was to know about it. As Sunagakure no Sato's situation slowly improved, Shiro began organizing workshops and other activities related to puppetry. But the lack of interest of the general population demotivated him a lot, and the young boy always ended up alone in his workshop. Just him and his puppets. This didn't make Shiro sad at all however, and he still had the full support of his family to back him up. But making friends his age in a land devastated by the plague was difficult and even more so when he seemed to have such uncommon interests.
Eventually, Sunagakure no Sato's military was reformed and the young Shiro was quick to volunteer to enroll in the academy. One cannot say he had plenty of success here, but his interests and hobbies were now better accepted and being an average student was more than enough for him. Shiro cared very little about the theories of military formations or the military history of the Hidden Sand village, all he cared about was his puppets and his fighting style. Eventually he was able to graduate from the academy at the age of 12 and initiate his ninja life. He has been a Genin for three years now mostly because he spends more time working on his inventions than actually practising or doing missions. But as a sudden illness struck his mother and he realized the family might not have enough money to sustain treatment, Shiro suddenly became far more dedicated to being strong and realized that more than creating puppets- he enjoyed using them. He enjoyed fighting alongside his creations and he enjoyed winning.
Personality:
Shiro is a very do-or-die type of person. From a very young age he was used to life being difficult and complicated and it's in this type of environment that he thrives the most. Unafraid to get into difficult or handicapped fights, Shiro has learned that this is the best way for him to grow and learn and has no problem taking defeats. He has a tendency to get back up again if at all physically possible and many times when others thought it was impossible.
Through sheer will power and incredibly annoying optimism regarding his abilities, Shiro is able to get through most obstacles in his life. But this also means he is many times reckless and unpredictable, which can make him an unreliable ally at times and can also result in annoyance by his team mates. Regardless, Shiro is who he is and he doesn't care much about what others think of him. He sets his own objectives and fights hard to reach them, to the last drop of blood and this is, in his mind, the only worthy way of living life.
