Son'Rei left his home with vigor in his steps, he was recently made a Genin of the Hidden Sand now and the joy it brought to him was evident on his face everyday since. He had been lax the past few weeks, mainly studying books and the like, today however was different, today he was going to do some actual training. He had been avoiding it for the longest time, but he knows deep down he can't get stronger without putting his knowledge into practice. He would arrive at the sun forge before the sun had risen over the horizon, the training area was barren making it the perfect time for him to practice the techniques he was wishing to. The last thing he needed was someone to be in the wrong place and get struck by one of his techniques, the boy did not wish to have to explain that to Ei, let alone the Kazekage. Son'Rei planned to spend the next several hours if not all day here training, though others might show up later he hoped he would have the more deadly ones out of the way before they arrived.
Zen would take his place in the center of the training grounds and begin to control his breathing as a he prepared himself for his task at hand. Son'Rei had witnessed most of these techniques many times during his training within the compound where he grew up, he knew all too well what they were capable of and the concentration it would take to replicate his former master. Though he had never preformed the techniques before the fact that he had witnessed them gave him some ground to at least begin with. Inhaling a deep breath Son'Rei would focus his chakra in a similar manner to a dragon's breath but instead of fire he was attempting to release a blast of super heated air that would more or less have the same effect on a grandeur scale. However what he released was nothing like that of his master's, causing him to kick himself but he would refuse to give up, repeating the process again and again until he felt it had a desirable effect like his master's had. After he was satisfied with his steam breath he would move on to the next technique though it required much more focus and would not be as easy for the young boy to preform, causing him to spend several hours on his attempts to release his chakra like a wave from his body only to have it fizzle out without taking any form. It wasn't until the sun was at its highest point of the day that he was finally able to release the burst of chakra as he intended it to, though still not as strong as his master's he proved that he could do it, this would be enough for him for now.
Son'Rei would take a short break to rest from the strain he put himself through on that last technique, laying flat on his back in the center of the training grounds, looking up at the sun as he tried to calm himself down.
