Appearance: Joy is 5'7" tall and has a slender, but toned body type. She has beautiful tan skin with small noticeable scars that adorn her body from intense training, but she has no scars on her face. Her natural hair color is powder blue, but she has been known to change her color to fit her situation or mood- rotating from her natural color and black. She will typically wear her hair at shoulder length, but will grow it out once in a while. Joy's natural eye color is bright orange which creates a rather unique contrast with her tan skin and powder blue hair. Overall Joy is a very attractive young shinobi who's physically abilities are sometimes masked by her overall beauty which occasionally will work in her favor.
History: Joy was originally a citizen of the Village Hidden in the Waterfall until a conflict broke out between two villages. At the age of 15 she became an orphan and a refugee- her parents had been killed by foreign shinobi. Because of this cruel event- she choose to flee her home in search of new beginnings. As a normal 15 year old girl traveling on her own- she endured many hard ships and eventually found herself on the steps of Konohagakure- a place where she believed was a great country which she had heard stories of during her childhood. As a result of her parents death- Joy was instilled with a deep determination to become strong so that she could protect those who were dear to her so she would never have to endure such an experience again.
Since she was a child Joy had been fascinated with stories of shinobi and great tailed beasts despite the fact that her family did not belong to a clan and lived normal lives as civilians. Her father was a blacksmith specializing in the creation of swords for the villages shinobi forces and her mother was a florist. Upon being granted citizenship in Konoha, Joy decided to chase her dreams and signed herself up for the ninja academy. Despite being older than most of the other students in her class- Joy worked tirelessly to make up for lost time and acclimated to the shinobi life style rather quickly. She was able to graduate the academy in short time and moved on to being a Genin within the village. Now at the age of 18 and with nothing to lose, Joy continued to train and take on missions in order to grow in strength and discover who she really was. This was just the beginning of her story.
Personality: Joy is a quirky and eccentric girl who understands that she is more attractive than that of a normal person- which she does not hesitate to use to her advantage; which sometimes will get her into trouble. She has a strong work ethic, but is still niave to the shinobi world. Joy may be characterized as someone who is neither good nor evil- neutral, but is someone who does believe in morality and will tend to do the right thing or choose a lesser evil if in a circumstance where she must decide between the two. In some circumstances, her actions may be viewed as noble or heroic, but she will occasionally deviate from this character trait to chase her ultimate goal of become strong. Joy will not hesitate to kill in self defense or to complete a mission, but will not simply kill someone in cold blood without reason.
Joy enjoys making friends, weapons, drinking (saki), nature, training, learning, reading, food- specifically sushi, dumplings, and white rice, along with hunting and foraging which was a skill she had to learn to survive during her 2 year travel from the Waterfall to the Leaf.
Joy dislikes those who are inherently evil and feels that it is her responsible to rid them of the world- a train that was cultivated from the murder of her parents. Other than that- Joy is a rather positive and upbeat person so she does not have many dislikes and her preferences far out weigh her dislikes.
