A Hungering Wolf--Hungering for Power Empty A Hungering Wolf--Hungering for Power

Post by Tsukiyo Shinku Sat Feb 08, 2020 2:23 pm

It would be late at night over the Third Training Grounds, the moon hovered over head, dimly lighting the iconic grounds. Tsukiyo had no care for the history of the place, it only just seemed like the best place for her to work on jutsu. This is why she would be seen standing in the field, illuminated by the light reflected off the moon above.

She had been brushing up on old jutsu before, ones she'd nearly forgotten to use. Living off the land, a simple life, it dulled her mind for the last few years...but now all gears had begun turning, she re-learned her old Fuuinjutsu, and now, sought after new jutsu.

She may had only been a lowly Genin in rank, but her intellect far surpassed even the Hokage's. Honestly, Konoha was lucky to have a mind such as hers, among the top 1% of the greatest thinkers to ever live. This made learning jutsu, even of higher complexity, come naturally to her when she applied herself. She'd just gotten lazy after living in seclusion, with only her brother to keep her company.

But no...The Silver Wolf's stomach growled for power. She'd better herself. She'd become a Shinobi of Legend one of these days...name forever marked in history. But for now, she needed to train. She squandered her formative years, years spent in the orphanage...years in the woods. This feeble bodied woman had never truly tried. Now it was time to fix that. She'd start off easy.

The woman first formed a clone. This was just an illusion, not a Shadow Clone--the basic Clone Jutsu. But this was only to be a target, having the clone walk about 20 meters from her and face her. She had a vast knowledge of Genjutsu, having read many materials on it long before leaving Konoha. Tonight...her gift for Genjutsu would be put to the test.

Without even forming hand seals, her finger twitched--drawing the attention of her clone. Bringing to her mind how to perform the 'Demonic Illusion: Hell's Viewing' technique into focus, as if reading straight from the scroll itself. It took a while to set in, to even cast. The clone would have a circle of leafs fall around them, signaling it had worked. Tsukiyo and her clone waited...and waited...finally, it set in. The clone looked to their side, and would find an image of Tengoku laying against a nearby tree, drenched in his own blood, with too many weapons run through him to count. Even the strong mental power of Tsukiyo wouldn't have her clone from suffering its effects, the twin of the twin looking at their twin, and covering her mouth at the sight...before filling with such anger it almost overrode the effects. Still, a success it was. The clone was still here too, neat.

((Do I even need to put word count? Requirement is 50...this blows that away. Learned Demonic Illusion: Hell's Viewing.))

She'd go ahead and subject the clone of herself to more. If only it was a shadow clone, this would be more interesting. This time...a Genjutsu she'd read about more recently, after raiding some scrolls of jutsu she found. Temple of Nirvana. Tsu again would look to her clone, smirking. She was molding and shaping her chakra once more, making use of her lack of requiring hand seals to perform Genjutsu. She waited...and waited...and then her eyes narrowed in anger. "...Really." she said, figuring it was a fail. She growled and tried again. Once more she molded her chakra, a stray twitch of the finger even, and eventually, her Clone would begin seeing feathers fall around her.

The clone narrowed her eyes right back at the real one. "You know we could just Kai out of this right?" "Obviously we know...geez did I make a clone lacking a few brain cells? Honestly...go to sleep now." "And if i just Kai out?" "...Yes, illusion of me, mold some chakra, please. I'd love to see it. the two had a back and forth...this was basically the equivalent to talking to herself, arguing even. Clearly her focus on making this clone accurate to her hadn't been on point. Regardless, the clone did as she wanted...falling asleep. This would make the clone poof...it couldn't handle falling asleep. Either way, the jutsu she'd attempted would be another success. The woman herself yawned, as if she was sleepy...maybe after back to back Genjutsu she would be. For the time being, she'd rest up...but this wasn't after another quick round of trying again--another clone--another successful use of Temple of Nirvana.

She'd rest up for a while, a real long while. An hour maybe. She had been joined by a wandering Wolf, and had quickly made a new friend. Yes...The Silver Wolf could indeed communicate with them. After chatting for so long, the Wolf agree'd to be her next target. No more chakra for clones--yay. She'd stand opposite of the Wolf, and smirk. She hoped the poor thing was ready for what was coming, but either way, she didn't wanna do to much to it. The Wolf had been nice enough to agree to be effected by her jutsu. Luckily what she planned to do wouldn't hurt the creature.

The woman first had to prepare, she'd begin by making out two different seals, both of them applied to the ground below. This took some time, these was 'trap' style jutsu, instead of ones meant to be directed at an enemy...this relied on the enemy stepping into the trap. First off, Chakra Draining Seal...she'd motion for the Wolf to come closer, giving it a smile. "It won't hurt but it won't feel comfortable either...if it works at all." she'd explain to the wolf. It agree'd and went on anyways, stepping into the trap she'd laid. Instantly the jutsu activated, and made its activation known. The Wolf...it'd begin feeling its energy siphoned off, and Tsukiyo was gaining it, taking it in herself through the seal. The wolf wouldn't stay too long in the trap, Tsukiyo didn't take too much of its chakra...but it bolstered her for her next move.

The Wolf would again oblige Tsu--she really did thank it for its help in her training, as Tengoku nor Haku was around--and some of these was simply impossible to learn alone. It wasn't Ninjutsu, she's not given a big bright fireball in front of her when she succeeds...Genjutsu, Fuuinjutsu, it was all a bit more complicated then Ninjutsu. Either way, her furry friend would walk, paws now bringing it to stand over her second seal she'd done up on the training grounds. Nothing happened...Tsukiyo sighed and walked up, knelling down and trying to fix it. She'd made a small mistake in the seal. After, she'd charge it with chakra, and it'd activate, this time with success, the Fuuinjutsu roaring to life.

Once more the Wolf would find itself ensnared in another Fuuinjutsu, this time; Sealing Technique: Lion Closing Roar. This would work after the second attempt, and the Wolf found itself unable to use any chakra--if it had the ability to even to begin with...which it didn't, but if it did, it couldn't! The chakra network within the Wolf was shut down, chakra points closed--similar to the results of being hit by the Gentle Fist style of the Hyuuga clan--sans the hurt organs. The Silver Wolf smiled to the real wolf...she deactivated the seal and stepped over, petting its head gently. "Thanks for your help...run along now." she'd say with a gentle kindness she only reserved for creatures of the wild. The Wold nodded, even nuzzled into her hand as she pet it, before trotting off proudly into the woods.
