Team D Meeting

Kye got his papers after the fire was put out and all of that garbage was dealt with. The last thing he remembered seeing was the proctor respond swiftly to Q's interruption and blindsided him with a punch so powerful it throw the boy into the hallway. He was detained shortly after and not much else was heard. Kye wasn't ready. He didn't feel like he deserved to be in the Survival Bout. He was unable to answer any question on his own. The only reason he passed was due to Q's disruption which inevitably caused the entire room of three-twenty to proceed. He didn't dwell on the administration's decision too much, however. Maybe this round would be different for him. Kye stood at 5'11 and was a fairly lean build. He dressed very formal like usual instead of opting out for any gear which would serve him well for the training area. The only notable different between his previous exam and now was a sword he worn on his belt. It was a basic katana made of steel sheathed in a black lacquered scabbard.

He waited patiently at his gate for his partner to arrive. It was raining which was a bit bothersome to be standing in with no cover, but he imagined over the next five days there would be a lot less to complain again.

Kitsuki walked to the meeting point with a bit of pep in her step. She had passed the harrowing trials of the Written portion through her insolvent will and determination. She hadn't known a single answer but her creativity and courage had carried the day. The Survival Bouts would undoubtedly involve combat which was something that she had excelled at. She wasn't as good as her sister Katsumi but she had grown significantly in that area since graduating from the WASP. Kit was certain she could do this.

The girl was not dressed formally for once. Instead, she wore a stylish set of military fatigues. They were pressed, fitted, and without a single wrinkle. It was the perfect combination of function and fashion. In her right hand she gripped a custom-made titanium cane. The cane was polished black and had a golden bulbous head at the top so as to instill maximum discipline against her competitors. There was one in particular whom she wished to issue correction: 1-Irui Mikiri, or as she knew him, hooded Kumo boy. The girl bore a large pack with all of her ninja tools and effects inside. There was a pouch at the side which would allow her to draw her weapons quickly. Finally, nestled within Kitsuki's hair, would be her guardian Angel and advisor Zizz. The tiny angel was laying on her stomach within the folds of Kitsuki's Afro-pigtails. The creature propped itself up on its elbows and flexed its wings every now and again.

She wasn't really hiding so if Kye was perceptive he'd notice the little angel chilling. It wouldn't really respond or say anything to him. Kit smiled as she approached her partner.

"Hello my name is Kitsuki Kurahasa. I'm from Kirigakure. Its nice to meet you..."

The sound of another person passed by. It was a young woman with a familiar of some sort perched on the top of her head. She clearly took the survivals much more seriously than he did as she decided to change her clothes for the occasion. Or perhaps that was how she always dressed, though Kye had his doubts seeing how she was styling a rather nice cane. She introduced herself cordially, which Kye bowed in response. "Kye Takamura from Kumogakure. I am pleased to make your acquaintance." Before any more banter could be had the alarm system buzzed as the gates opened. "We shouldn't waste any time. The faster we secure a relic the easier it will be on us." Kye went up to the security office, grabbed their relic which was a white knight, and stashed it in his coat pocket. He would lead the way into the jungle with Kitsuki hopefully in tow. They had a job to do.

Kitsuki noticed that the young man grabbed the relic before she could. She had figured that she was the best one to hold it since she had an ability that would make it pretty much impossible for anyone else to get. She decided to say nothing for now though. The young girl followed the proper procedure and then entered the arena behind Kye.
