Yoru Fly The Herb Guy [Solo Mission]

Mission Details:

Boooo, Boooooo. What kind of job was this?

At first, Yoru had been more than a little bit disappointed by the fact that his job for the day was nothing more than picking herbs for a shop owner that had hurt himself. I mean really, couldn't he get a relative to do this instead of a shinobi? It was just good business practice, after all. Still, it was easy money- and that was what mattered most, right? Right??? He really was that desperate for cash, and if he was going to get enough for materials before the start of the Chunin Exams, he was going to have to scrape the barrel for as many jobs as he could take on in a short amount of time. The Chemistry gig had been good, but this? This felt boring as heck.

Yoru went to the herbalist's shop, taking the basket and offering a few kind words for the injured owner who had hired him. There was nothing to be done from complaining now. instead, Yoru exited Kirigakure for a short while, heading to the inland meadows away from the coast. Here, he would begin to pick the common medicinal herbs that he recognized from his time as a circus performer. There weren't anything too fancy, just the common salves that acted as regeants for most medicines. They were pretty easy to find, they grew in clumps together for the most part.

It took the better part of a day, and gods he was sweating up a storm by the time he was finished, but after a while of picking, Yoru had successfully gathered a full basket of herbs for the client... What's more, whilst scrounging around, he had found some brightly colored mushrooms growing out of a mossy rock. The colors in particular were important, and upon inspection with a trained eye, Yoru deduced that they were indeed poison. He plucked a hearty amount, shoved them in his pockets (even though they would surely give him nauea later for holding them barehanded) and scampered on back to the shop.

The client was thankful to receive all the herbs, appreciating the menial labor that the teen had put himself through. After nodding a few times to get out of there, Yoru returned to the Mizukage's office and turned in the mission, receiving his payment and going on his merry way to experiment with sketchy mushroom poison.
