The Menza clone (hereinafter "Menza") warped next to a glass cage in a rich mansion. The shinobi's analytical mind immediately ascertained the nature of his surroundings and realized that something was horribly wrong. He turned his head and saw a severed foot in a glass display sitting ontop a velvet cushion.
"What the hell?" he wondered aloud.
He scanned the area and did not see Yui. That was when it dawned on him. He had applied the Flying Thunder God seal to Yui's foot and Yui's foot was now sitting in that display. The real Yui was missing a foot but now free of his influence. Either someone had cut off her foot to keep her from him or she had done so herself. The Menza clone removed the foot from the glass display and examined it. This was Yui's doing. The severance of the tendons and blood vessels were consistent with blast damage. But why would Yui blow off her own foot unless..
"The Gates!" he shouted angrily.
How could he have not seen it before? He knew that the Eight Gates allowed for the regeneration of limbs but he had failed to even consider the possibility that Yui would use that ability to blow off her own foot and regrow it. He had underestimated her intelligence and strategic wit, but even more importantly, he had apparently placed too much trust in Nikuyo to keep an eye on her. The Old Bear had allowed her to do this without even stopping her? Menza was furious. He had been outfoxed, outplayed, and outmaneuvered. By a blonde dimwit nonetheless. The next minutes consisted of Menza destroying the mansion and killing many of the servants within. He had allowed the power of the Nature Clan to consume him and guide his actions. Yui could be anywhere by now and given her abiltiy to create clay dragons she'd be near impossible to track. He had lost her as a key asset. He needed to check on his next asset: Rin Uchiha. If he could still get to him then maybe all was not lost. Menza Sukiyama would get his payment, one way or another. In an instant, the mad scientist clone poofed transmitting the knowledge to Menza.
