Satori seemed to require his other hand in order to deflect the missiles he had sent toward him. That gave him a certain amount of satisfaction, not to mention, the stick bounced against Satori’s side. It still counted as a weapon, so in essence, he scored a hit. It was thrown as a weapon after all. A hit was a hit, didn’t matter how much damage it actually did.

He felt the weight of the wakizashi, it wasn’t particularly heavy, and it was small. He decided to be a little more animated with this one, since it seemed actually capable of taking the deflections Satori did to a certain extent. So he may as well do a little acrobatics. Or athletics. Either or. He dropped to a crouch once his initial attacks failed, swinging the blade for Satori’s leg, then darted along, trying to keep as low as possible so the larger man had to work for his blocks, or simply evade.

Of course, it was a little tiring for him too, but he could handle it for now. When Satori blocked an attack with his claws, Tin’d aim to draw the blade back and poke it through the gaps in his fingers, then jab it upright in an attempt to slash between them.

Satori ripped his claws forward as Tin began to get into it. A grin forming on his lips as he finally started to get a bit creative with his attacks, now. Each swing of the blade was slightly different than the last as he took shots at him avidly. His claws would deflect the incoming blade, only for the recoil to shift into a stab in-between his fingers, causing Satori to snap them together and catch the blade between them instead.

When he suddenly broke through a defense of his claws by re-positioning himself, Satori's foot lifted up like the claws decorating them deflected the blade aside instead. This process repeated back and forth as Satori followed each movement. Every strike of the blade against his claws chipped it, taking a small piece of the edge and dulling it. But it was holding up fairly well, clearly, swords were more of the smith's specialty from what had been used thus far. Or perhaps blades in general? It was difficult to say for now.

After several more clashes, Satori smiled at the clear difference in the boy's attack patterns. "Someone's getting the hang of melee combat, hm?" he inquired smugly.

It looked as though he was doing okay with his swings, he didn’t get through his defences at all, though his stab, Satori closed his fingers. He pushed the hilt downward, aiming to free his blade by using its weight and dropping it downward. Then he tried slicing downward, only for the foot to get in the way.

As they continued to slash and strike at eachother, he noticed the blade wasn’t really holding up. Each strike made it look less sharp, and took a chip out of it. He grunted, and continued. He guessed the smith would be able to see what a difference it made. “Hrmph.” he answered to Satori’s question. He jumped, aiming to strike down at Satori, while making his wrists loosen so when Satori blocked it, he’d drop right down.

Then he’d reposition himself just before his feet touched the ground, and aim to make a stab toward the left part of Satori’s stomach.

Satori grinned as the teen continued his high-speed barrage, the more he moved the more fluid he was becoming as he exchanged blows repeatedly with him. Each time more chunks were taken from the edge of the blade, Tin adjusted himself and his strikes. For all his initial resistance against becoming a ninja; Satori's words that day were steadily being proven true. He had talent, alot of it, and was naturally adjusting to the new style (and life overall). His improvement over the short few weeks alone was proof of that once his body had begun recovering.

As Tin shifted his attack from above, before using his wrists to loosen the impact of his claws block only to go for a stab, Satori grinned. Instead of blocking, Satori simply shifted his body to the side, causing the blade to shoot past his abdomen as Satori instead smashed a hand downward, intending to simply smash it away, but instead the sound of metal cracking filled the air. The top-half of the wakizashi flinging repeatedly through the air to smash into the sand.

Satori blinked, grunting before he slowly lifted his hand up and relaxed. If Tin wished to keep going using it, he wouldn't stop him, but the mission was to just try out a variety of weapons technically.

With each strike, his weapon grew smaller and smaller. And smaller. And smaller. Eventually it would probably go the way of the others. Not probably. Definitely. His final attempt at getting one in on Satori wasn’t any less of a failure than the others. Though it did force Satori to evade, rather than block this time. THEN he smashed the blade.

Or rather, he snapped it. The wakizashi’s top part flew off and landed onto the sand. Tin looked at it, before sighing, he lowered the blade, then tossed the rest of it away, walking back toward the bundle of weapons. He tilted his head, wondering what he should go with next. He tilted his head, then took a duo of weapons out. They were daggers but had a weirdly shaped handle. He tried handling them, but it was awkward.

Then some switches in his head went off, and he put the weird handle between his fingers, it seemed to be some kind of fist-dagger or something. Punchy daggers. He shrugged, then turned back toward Satori. He brought his fists up, then moved forward, aiming to bring unto him a few quick jabs toward the abdomen for the left and chest for the right.

"It held up longer than the chain," he stated idly, before glancing at him as he went over to examine the new items. Eventually, he arched a brow as the teen pulled out dual-katar. Not exactly what he'd of said as a first choice for Tin, but then again he'd already burned through the initial first choices he supposed. As the teen spun to face him, Satori stretched his arms above his head and nodded once in a 'come on' motion while his upper-body lowered slightly to shift his center of gravity lower. This meant that Tin was going to be entering melee range at a far closer level.

They hadn't gone too much into Taijutsu training beyond the basics, but Tin was clearly a natural at making things up as he went. His talent at adapting and using the weapons in rapid succession was proof enough of that. So Satori would say nothing, the best way for Tin to actually adapt, adjust and develop his own style was to let him be. Besides, the broader his scope the better in combat. If he didn't completely toss away Taijutsu, well that was a good thing. Clenching his hands a few times as his claws glinted in the light, Satori waited patiently for the next step.

He'd let Tin begin the engagement, just as he had for all the other confrontations thus far.

Tin began with a swipe toward Satori’s chest, then veering off back. He flicked the hand dagger out of his left hand, doing a few seals. Ram. Snake. Tiger. He’d create two clones, each one in a ready stance. Then he put the weird dagger back into his grip.

They’d charge at Satori again. This time however, they each converged into one another. He pushed his head forward a little so he could see out of the two other tins, but they looked like a mass of limbs weaving in and out of eachother. Six daggers, two real ones. Once he got into position near Satori, they began their barrage.

It was a little annoying, but he was the one attacking, so he could afford a little reduction in visibility at times.

First strike: The real ones are the lowest pair, going for Satori’s stomach.

Second strike: Real ones are the highest, aiming for his jawline.

Third strike, lowest again, aiming for his thighs.

Fourth strike: middle one, for his chest.

Tin was getting more creative, and Satori grinned. If he wasn't simply superior in so many ways, the creative usage of the technique would definitely put him off. He'd actually have to take it quite seriously. But his eyes and ears made it a bit more difficult for the teen, unfortunately, combined with his shadow warrior training. Instead, the clone-blades phased right through Satori's body as his eyes didn't even focus on the teen but instead were focused on his shadow: specifically the lack of one that the clones had.

Claws clashed with the katar blades, which to their credit held up better than expected, only dulling slightly from the initial blocks instead of chipping as the Wakizashi had. Likely due to the broader blades. Slowly straightening a bit Satori's eyes flicked up from the shadow briefly to focus on the teen.

"Well done. You're getting alot more creative using the techniques... we'll have to get you a few more under your belt," as he stated this he would flex his claws a few times in amusement before his gaze slid back down toward his shadow. He'd forced him to use a technique at least, even if it was only effectively an E-Rank that required tremendous training to learn.

Despite his attempt to outwit Satori, he still seemed able to block his attacks as usual. He didn’t even bother looking at his clone’s attacks, it was like he could see right through them. His blades struck against Satori’s claws, and managed to last a little bit longer than the Wakizashi, though he couldn’t put much force into swings, only forward-pushes.

He stepped back, throwing the push-daggers to the ground after Satori spoke, and dismissed the clones, huffing a little as he walked back to the armoury. He glanced about, before finding something that piqued his interest. He took out a bow, though it was absolutely massive, taller than him in fact, or just as much. He tried straightening it, but it didn’t work, he had to tilt it to the side a little in order to use it. He took a handful of arrows, and walked a distance away from Satori.

He cleared his throat, then nocked the bow. He aimed it toward Satori, giving it a testing pull. The wood was a little strange, he didn’t really like how big it was, but he’d have to get used to it. After a few tries, he pulled it back for real, giving Satori a few moments to prepare, then loosed, sending the projectile zipping toward him.

At Tin's huff, Satori chuckled. The teen didn't really know how to accept compliments yet, but that was fine. Grinning a bit he went back and forth with him a few times until the Katar had their edges nullified and Tin dropped them like all the other weapons he had thus far. This time he chose a bow, causing an arch of Satori's brow before he crossed his arms over his chest and motioned for Tin to go ahead once he'd given it a few test pulls to center himself.

Relaxing his body, Satori lifted his hands up and focused his gaze on him--and then as the arrow shot toward him at high speeds his claws raked through the air, parrying it to the side as he watched it thud into the nearby ground. A bemused expression forming on his face. The arrow hadn't broken. It had his claw marks in the wood, but considering how strong his claws were compared to most materials, that was an impressive feat all on its own.

Intrigued, he glanced back up toward Tin and grinned slightly.

"Look's like picking up a few things from him would definitely be a good idea if he can produce ammunition like that," he stated idly, before motioning him to keep going. More practice with a bow that was difficult for him to use would only amplify his skill with one properly made for him all the more.

Tin squinted at the arrow he had loosed, it looked still intact. Satori noticed it too, he glanced at an arrow he nocked, rolling it in his fingers. It felt like any old arrow, though obviously there were some differences, for it to be able to survive Satori’s claws, he rose an eyebrow. Then he put another arrow on top of the first, separating the two with a finger. Let’s see how he deals with a duo of arrows.

He twisted the bow to the side further, this time aiming for Satori’s left shoulder, and right hip. Once he was sure of the projector, he drew back the string, and loosed a twin strike for him to deal with.

As the arrows were loosed, Satori's left hand slashed downward in a diagonal slash at high speeds. First impacting the tip of the arrow fired at his left shoulder, before continuing on and hitting the center of the arrow aimed at his right hip through the slight time delay. A grin split his lips despite the parry, clearly pleased that Tin was able to fire more than a single arrow so accurately now. The two arrows scattering to thud into the dirt while he straightened slightly.

With this he would then begin to walk toward Tin at a slow, careful pace. Clearly slowly lowering the distance on purpose so that he was applying a constant slow pressure to the archer. Tin would need to get used to constantly making distance between his target and himself, aiming while moving, and dealing with someone attacking him during firing practice. Obviously Satori didn't intend to pressure him too much, he was still learning baby steps for proper combat. But this would help him adjust and learn just as well.

He wouldn't attack just yet, however. Perhaps next time they trained he'd go that far, for now just closing distance would be enough.

Satori managed to swipe both arrows out of the air. Tin grumbled to himself as he managed to do so, sending the ammunition into the dirt. He rose his hidden eyebrow in alarm as Satori began to walk toward him at a slow pace. Was he planning on attacking now, or were they finished? He didn’t say one of his usual ‘well dones’, so it must’ve been the former.

He’d begin to backtrack, nocking another arrow. He went a bit fast at first, but once he had maintained a suitable distance, he slowed down to around Satori’s speed. The bow was too large and unwieldy, he didn’t really like it. Whatever power it had for being so large, it lost in mobility, though he’d probably take it if he had to hit something really, really far.

He assumed Satori would be following him, so he loosed another arrow toward his right foot, aiming to make him work, at least a little bit, for his block, before running off to the side, aiming for the armoury, and a better bow.

Tin's reaction was a reasonable one, and as the teen dashed off in a slight panic Satori simply smiled. He didn't increase his speed just yet, instead of focusing only on applying a constant, consistent pressure to keep his mind open to the realization he'd need to remain mobile. The bow he was using was too large to do that effectively, even if he had the physical power to maintain it properly.

The arrow aimed at his foot was simply sidestepped, causing it to thud into the mud next to the large man instead. Hands clenching a few times idly as he continued at his steady pace. Following easily as Tin began to circle around (to try and get a new weapon likely). Satori chuckled as he neared it, but didn't stop walking. If he wanted a new weapon that was fine but he'd need to be quick about it. Even at his relatively casual pace, he would catch up fairly quickly if the teen wasn't careful and be upon him.

Satori hadn't decided if he'd attack yet or not, but the threat alone should be enough. Silent or otherwise, to keep Tin on his toes.

Tin soon abandoned the tactic of running, stopping to shoot, then running again. He just opted for straight out running to the armoury to get him the time he needed for a better bow. He scanned the pile. He already knew how a regular recurve bow was, so he opted for a more compact looking one, it was small. Though, that was for regular people, it was normal sized for him.

He snatched it from the pile, throwing the reject down and nocking an arrow. It felt a bit weird, to go from too big to too small, but it should serve his purpose. He began running in a direction, before pushing his right shoulder down, as well as bending over. He’d roll along, aiming to take a podshot at Satori, then hop back to his feet to keep running.

He seemed to just be walking a toward him like some advancing wall of doom. Tin felt a slight twinge of annoyance. Once his little somersault had been dealt with, he stopped once he felt an adequate distance had been met, nocking two arrows again. This time, he aimed for Satori’s chest, and lower thigh.

The potshot was easily dealt with, a simple bat of his claws to shatter the arrow. It wasn't easy to aim while moving, let alone performing rolls, but Tin was doing much better now that he had a bow more his size. Satori grinned but said nothing further as he watched Tin begin to notch another set of arrows before drawing them back.

This time they were aimed at less easily guarded positions at least. A good step forward. However, it was the same as before in the end. The fact he was getting more creative with his aim was a step in the right direction at least. Even as his claws cracked into the first and then second the same way it had before, Satori tilted his head as he continued his movements forward.

"Better," he stated simply, a verbal cue that Satori thought he was improving as he arched a brow slightly. A bemused grin on his lips. It was clear Tin was comfortable with firing two at once now, so, instead...

"What, don't think you can do three?" he inquired simply with a smirk. He knew the teens pride. Poking it purposely to push him into territory he wasn't certain he could do yet was a good thing, it'd give him a nice little kick to continue progressing.

Tin had managed to do the potshot, but it was still broken before Satori’s claws, which he should expect, really. And Satori thought he was doing better, or something. Maybe he was just saying that automatically now. Who knew? He did however frown at Satori’s goading. He took a frowning glance over his shoulder. He didn’t have too many arrows left, but it was enough for a few more rounds. Depending on how many he used.

He rolled his eyes, Satori obviously wanted him to do it, so he may as well. He took four arrows out of the quiver, nocking three of them into the bow. He continued running, before turning around. He aimed the middle one toward his chest, the top one for his head, and the bottom for… His groin. Once he loosed, he quickly put the other arrow in and aimed it for his right thigh, also loosing, as quickly as he could, even putting a little bit of his innate swiftness into the strike.

Satori grinned as Tin did as he'd goaded, and when the arrows shot through the air toward him he followed their path--and sidestepped to the left. Putting himself out of range of all four of the arrows as they fired toward him, the one that had been aimed at his right thigh now completely off-course due to the motion as they all thudded into the earth repeatedly.

They'd still been dead-on, however. That alone was impressive enough and begged the question of how many projectiles he'd feel comfortable loosing at any one given time. Perhaps having him learn Kugutsu would be a good idea as well. All things considered, it would benefit him in several ways, including the ability to use his precision to an even greater level.

But, he wasn't sure if Tin had the mental focus required for that kind of intensive mental work. Controlling multiple projectiles at once was difficult on the mind to use effectively. Grunting once, Satori pushed the thought from his mind for now and finally lowered himself a bit as his eyes watched Tin quietly for a moment.

"I'm going to attack. Try to counter using the bow and arrow effectively. You need practice being in close quarters too so you get a feel for what you need to do," he stated bluntly, giving the teen a moment to prepare.

All of his arrows were blocked this time, as they fell into the dirt. Still, they were good arrows. Robust. They didn’t zip suddenly to the left or right or anywhere. The problem of course was that he couldn’t gauge their penetrative power because a certain someone didn’t want to get shot. Slightly understandable.

He felt his quiver, he had one arrow left, this’d be annoying. He definitely wouldn’t be able to just shoot him, since he’d just block the strike. …Then again… It seemed as though Satori was going to attack now.

He nocked the arrow, this time walking toward Satori carefully. Once he got within a few metres, he’d loose the bow, then run toward him. Should Satori evade or block the strike, he should still have a bit of an opening, right? No matter what, he’d aim to move toward Satori’s side, wielding the bow into a double handed grip and aiming to bludgeon Satori’s farthest knee, keeping low.

Satori... stared as Tin charged him and swung the bow. It seemed the teen had forgotten that he'd specifically told him never to use a bow as a club. All it ever did was break or bounce uselessly. Bow's were designed by nature to flex, and so on impact that's exactly what they did. Flexed and nullified the force swung with them tremendously, not to mention the risk it posed to the string and more sensitive parts of the weapon.

As the arrow flew at him, he easily parried it aside using his left hand so that his right was still ready to deal with the charging young man. The swing of the bow flying toward him caused a slight breath to pass his lips before his hand extended and... smashed his arm into it. Not even using his claw as he smashed his arm into the bow, and its flexible nature caused it to easily contort around his forearm.

A few cracks were heard from it as it bent, clearly having been damaged before Satori's other hand shot downward with claws aimed at his throat. However, he'd halt mid-way through the strike and idly relax his body as he lowered his arms.

"I told you before, but a reminder, never use a bow as a staff. It's too flexible and built completely differently, it won't work, and you'll likely lose your weapon. It's an extreme last-resort option. Keeping the arrow and using it as a punching dagger would have been a better idea, holding it near the head," as he explained this he glanced at the arrows decorating the ground around him and grunted.

He hadn't noticed how long they'd been going. But they could still go for a bit longer.

"Grab another. We can keep going for a bit longer with how quickly you're improving." He smiled lightly, hands clasping behind his back as he waited.

Tin grunted as his bow bent against Satori’s arm, which had gotten in the way a little. He looked a little bit perplexed at him, which was good. He reached back into his pocket and drew his kunai knife, getting ready to strike at his arm, though Satori poised his other hand half way toward his face. He frowned.

After Satori spoke, his mind raced quickly to make up an excuse. “He wants the weapons to be tested. I was testing the wood.” he stated simply, putting the kunai knife back into his pocket, before throwing the bow away and moving back to the pile. He glanced around, this time there was a weird looking thing, he saw one of them in the shop. It was called a ‘crossbow’, but it wasn’t really what he wanted.

The next one he picked up was kind of a mixture between the two other ones, it was long, but not too long. He tested the string, it was pretty tight. He shrugged, taking a bunch of new arrows. These ones were a little bit weirder, they just had a kind of spike at the end, they didn’t even have an arrowhead. He turned around, and nocked the bow. He walked toward Satori, before returning to the distance he was before, then loosed the arrow, getting ready for Satori’s next move. This time, he’d be more evasive, ready to pounce to the left and give him the runaround while nocking another arrow.

Satori arched a brow at the excuse. "You'd never want a weapon tested in a way that they weren't used. That's not useful information," he replied idly, though the fact he'd drawn his knife near the end was a good strategy. He was glad he'd at least considered a secondary option.

For the next few hours, Tin and Satori continued their little semi-sparring until every weapon the man had at his disposal was destroyed or damage. Despite this, he appeared overwhelmingly pleased as he approached the pair when the final sword broke. A grin splitting his lips.

"Perfect! I gained a tremendous amount of data on them all thanks to you two, thank you!" As he stated this he then turned and looked at Satori, examining his claws.

"Ryuutei claws really are as strong as high-grade steel, hm? Quite impressive. I'll have to work hard to break something like that," he murmured, holding his chin as Satori chuckled.

"Kaguya bones are even more impressive," he reminded the elder briefly causing a laugh in response as he nodded once wisely. "Indeed," he replied before looking toward Tin instead and smiling.

"I heard the discussion at the beginning. As thanks for doing such a fine job, I'd be happy to show you the ropes anytime you like. My shop is in the central market, feel free to stop by to learn," as he stated this the man inclined his head once more, pausing only to make sure they didn't need anything else. Clearly excited to continue in his crafting now.

For the next couple of hours, they continued to ‘test’ the weapons provided for them. Tin was more than a little weary by the end of it. It was getting rather exhaustive, physically and mentally trying to adjust to how he thought each weapon was to be used. He let out huffs and puffs as the last sword finally broke. The blacksmith came over and seemed pleased with their progress, he didn’t really even notice him for a few hours. He murmured to Satori. He shrugged.

He rose an eyebrow at the smith’s offer, thinking for a moment, shyly looking off and away toward the right, and nodding a little. “Okay. Thank you.” he muttered. He didn’t appear as though he needed anything else. He’d wait a few moment, before turning to Satori, looking around at the broken weapons. “What now?” he asked.

Satori glanced down at Tin as he shyly hid his face, an amused smirk on his features. "What, shy because you're being honestly thanked? What do you know, you can be cute sometimes," he snickered softly as he moved forward and motioned for Tin to follow after him.

"We'll head back home," he stated simply to the inquiry of what was next. "You deserve a rest and some extra food. I'll get you steak tonight, and some other things you like," bemused he focused on the next step. Tin was clearly advancing well but he was lacking in a specific direction. He'd have to help the teen work on his ideas.

Some new techniques using the bow, some more training to learn them among other techniques. Chakra control as well as working with others to better his crafting skill. With enough time, he could become impossible to deal with threat really. Amused, he glanced back at him and grinned slightly.

"Let's get you fed and rested. Tomorrow we're picking up right where we left off for training. You have too much to do," amused at himself, and Tin's development he turned and headed out of the training area with a soft laugh. It would be interesting to see how he developed. Especially with that bloodline of his.

At Satori’s words, Tin’s shoulders rose, his hair bristled and he gained a blush. “Don’t call me that.” he snaps to Satori. He didn’t like being called ‘cute’. It struck him for some reason. No, he didn’t like it. Not at all. He followed the man still, though. He huffed at Satori’s words, extra food sounded good. He was rather hungry from having to run around to avoid Satori.

He felt as though he tried too many things today, so many that he didn’t really learn much of any of them, just a miniscule amount. He shrugged to himself at the thought. At least he could go down and learn how to make things during soft days. Or when he was bored.

Maybe some day he’d even learn an element or something. Maybe a fireball. Or something watery. Who knew.
