Her ability to turn into water and manipulate the element with her chakra was very helpful in learning new techniques.
This next technique Riku sought to learn would not only help her trap opponents, but it could also be used as a shield of sorts. Seated beside the river, the short teen let her fingers trail across the cool surface. Then, she performed the two hand seals and stretched her arm outwards. Water snaked down her arm and fingers, pooling around her hand to form a globe. Her brows knit as she concentrated on keeping the liquid together. Then, the water began to move inwards, creating suction. After a few moments of concentration, the orb of water stabilized, maintaining suction.
Smiling, Riku let the water fall. Now it was time to see how big she could make it.
