Kurama Awakens

Kurama had now shrunk to the size of an SUV. Rin had successfully used the beast's leaner mass against it, using the Soft Body Modification to grab onto the beast's neck and perform a devastating bodyslam. The manuever had prevented Kurama from squishing the humans as he had planned. Being slammed into the ground head first did not hurt, but it did cost the Bijuu the one thing he could not afford to lose: time. Kurama's eyes widened as he groggily realized that his very conscious was slipping away. More of his mind was in some kind of prison. He was not longer out here, he was now in there. He could move his body as if it he were controlling a robot but his mind was nearly gone. It was every Bijuu's worst nightmare. Do be a disembodied plaything for humans to manipulate and control. Kurama let out another roar and screamed:

"LET ME GO!!! LET ME GOOOOO!!!" he bellowed as he began to struggle against Rin's elongated arm. He clawed at the mud and tried his best to pull himself away from the Fuuninjutsu. "PLEASE!" he begged. The beast had lost almost all of its pride. He was now at this boy's mercy and if there was a chance that this one had the same humility and respect for autonomy as the Sage then maybe he would do the right thing and let him go. Out of time and out of options, Kurama made a last-ditch effort to save himself. He was too mad with rage and fear to accurately assess the situation and so he was blind as to his future. He lashed out, dislocating both arms on purpose using his immense strength to try and swipe Rin and his minion from away from his body. If successful, they'd be crushed or knocked aside interrupting the process and allowing rest of Kurama to spill back outside of Rin and into Kurama.

Kurama squirmed in Rin's grasp, and Rin took advantage over the mud restricting Kurama to aid in holding on. As the Kyuubi grew smaller it was starting to become difficult by a tad margin. Given Rin's feet magnetizing onto Kurama's body, he has no difficulty to stay on so long as he can avoid getting hit along with the sealer. What surprised the young teen is the fact that this bijuu, the strongest bijuu to exist, is actually begging for Rin to spare him. Given the human's and bijuu's history this wasn't surprising in that sense, but Rin didn't expect it. In truth Rin was considering it as well as weighing the possibility that Kurama will just try to kill him and Konohagakure afterwards. Of course there were other factors in play too, but those were in the mental process right now. The pent up anger from before is now overshadowed by Rin's sense of compassion.

As for the dislocated arms part, Rin's shadow clone leapt up to the left arm and essentially kicks at the point between the elbow and bicep so that Kurama can't muster the strength to really resist. Then with two more kicks forcing the arm higher until the shadow clone slammed his heel down on Kurama's forearm as an attempt to force back into the mud. As for the right arm, Rin retracted the arm wrapped around the bijuu's center leaving the chokuto there and what can be noted as Rin's right elbow stepped forward towards the swinging right arm. Mustering all of the strength within his body and magnetizing his feet onto Kurama's body bracing himself for the impact. Rin swings his elbow at the large arm and upon contact it was probably the most pain he felt in a while. It felt like his elbow was ready to snap as it probably fractured some bones. Was hard to tell really with Kurama struggling, but even as the contact emits a Sonic boom that echoes throughout the forest Rin held true in his ground with the sealer essentially behind him. During this time Rin drew back the left arm that was around Kurama's neck. And this time Rin will attempt to grab onto Kurama's right wrist and by the sheer level of control will attempt to hold the arm behind Kurama's back with the thumbs pressed hard into the pressure points that should hopefully stop Kurama from using this arm.

Assuming they succeed, Rin grunts from the effort of keeping Kurama restrained as the sealer was wide eyes upon seeing his very life flash before his eyes. It makes the man uneasy, and perhaps even more so that Rin's eyes shows a passionate fire that continues to burn brightly. Because of the bijuu's actions Rin has made up his mind.

"I am afraid I cannot acknowledge your request to let you go. Frankly I am in need of your assistance, and in return I want to help not just yourself, but the rest of the bijuu as well. However I can only help you if you let me help. Consider this as your own protection against the potential threats that may try to come for you." Rin grunted once again as he can feel the immense presence within his body. It was practically breathtaking as it felt like he was going to faint from this. A dull ache from the back of his head throbs as Kurama's mind is being drawn into Rin's own. To the point where a single sentence that echoes throw his mind as Kurama will be able to hear it.

You're not my enemy…

Used Vow to Protect -5 CP (UA); Rin's special ability takes on a defensive stance trading speed to reduce the incoming attack power. When targeted by a physical attack be it melee or ranged Rin reduces the opponent(s) Strength by 2 minus. This however reduces Rin's Speed by -1 tier. Attacks that isn't physical such as Katon & Raiton are immune to this ability. (Kurama's Strength A+)

The boy would not relent. His final shot at survival had failed and slowly but surely the Bijuu stopped struggling. The beast's arms were put in check and they failed to rid him of his opponent. He could barely think anymore. It felt as though he was slipping, as if all of his awareness was being sapped away. While his mind faded from the battle, his body began to shrink, and shrink, and shrink.

The beast shrank to the size of a minivan, then a car, then a horse, then a dog. With each passing second he grew resigned to his fate. There would soon be nothing for Rin to really stand on as he plopped to the ground. The beast was less a physical construct and more an admixture soup of demonic chakra. It encapsulated the rest of the biological matter and was absorbed directly into Rin's body. Kurama had been defeated and he had no words to describe the insane sense of loss, shame, and horror. The boy appeared to have good intentions but how many other shinobi had said similar things.

"I just need your help..."
"I can make things better for your kind..."
"We can work together..."

In the end, they all either abandoned him or were too weak to keep him. A select few had even tried to hurt him just to learn more about him. All humans were the same and while this boy was more naive than most, in time his lust for power would consume whatever good nature he had. He'd either become a ruthless killer or die in a ditch, taking Kurama long with him.

"Don't lie to me boy....you humans are all the same....all you know is...." Kurama felt his mind shutting down. The sealing process had weakened him tremendously. He could barely even form the words despite the fact that he was essentially speaking directly into Rin's conscious. "Greed". And with that, the Bijuu had vanished from the area. Fully sealed into Rin Uchiha and making him the Nine Tailed Jinchurikki.

QUEST COMPLETE

What Kurama said was not expected by Rin, but at the same time it didn't come as a surprise to him. To most if not everyone else would see this as Rin's pursuit for power for conquest and glory. Perhaps there is Greed within Rin as he can't deny it. Humans in general are greedy over something, but usually in small doses. For a moment Rin closed his eyes as Kurama was disappearing by the second now.

"Only time will tell I suppose…" It was a bit of a shame that Rin couldn't talk his way out of this fight, but he can only hope that someday he'll make it up to the Kyuubi later. Right now Rin was tired as Kurama was absorbed completely into the young Uchiha. It was a very odd sensation like there really is something in his body boiling with hatred and other negative emotions. His breathing heavy, Rin took a moment to recover as well as everyone else. Just sealing the bijuu took every ounce of strength and stamina they had. The mud returns to the disrupted earth as the tired jounin drops their concentration on the mud.

With a brief soft flash of pale blue light the chokuto vanishes from Rin's hand and into the seal placed on the palm side of his right wrist. Turning his attention towards the two groups of specialized men and women. Some of them appeared to notice something, but that was the least of Rin's concern right now.

"I know how exhausted most of us are, but we need to comb through this forest as much as we can to find Yui and the man who took her. I don't expect you to cover how vast this forest is, so focus on this section within a 10 kilometers radius. If you find anything be it Yui, the Society, or something that puts you in danger just send a flare. We'll come running to your location as quickly as we are able." With that, everyone scattered including Rin. Together they searched long and hard for Yui until what was originally night the moon has long since fallen below the horizon and the sky was lighting up. Sadly they do not find anything related to Yui, but Rin did find a massive hole in the ground that had collapsed. The very same that Kurama crawled his way out of, but Rin could only guess that. So after meeting up with the two teams once again, Rin reluctantly returned to Konohagakure with a troubled expression on his face.

"Something is not right about this… but I know this is not the end either…" Even as Rin's eyes had turned from the hazel blue-green to the crimson color, his eyes still carry the softness in him. However, only time will tell whether those eyes continue to shine in light or dig into the overwhelming hatred within him.
