Perhaps it was her habit of living in the forest like a wildman. Perhaps it was the appeal of being in a lawless land among the defenceless. Probably both. The yokai had come to take a liking to the shabby looks of Kabukicho and thus lived wherever she could. Under a roof, breaking in an abandoned home for the night, hidden among old newspapers or just a quick nap with her head on her knees. Much like before her time in Kumogakure, the shinobi relied on survival instinct and quick wits to survive this ramshackle world, exchanging wild animals for random thugs and bandit lairs for local organised crime. She'd do fine, backed by experience and now trained in martial arts. Slipping through shadows unheard, Ijutsu healing her wounds when she was caught off-guard. She'd do fine. Picking up local intel about who's who and who's where. Getting to know the local crime lords, existing gangs and their turf. All part of a future plan.
