Revenge Over Burgers (Flashback)

Shimiko sighed audibly when the finally made it back to her apartment safe and sound. The space was clean and neat as she often cleaned with the thought that Sakata might stop by someday. It had been a long day and one fraught with surprises and blessings. She had found a new convert and friend but had inherited a few enemies as a result. It was no matter, she relished the opportunity to flex her constantly growing reservoir of skills. The apartment consisted of a spacious living room with Kotatsu in the center, a guest bedroom which had been fully furnished and was now Yui and Yua's room, her own quarters which now had a lot of Jashinist shrine stuff in it, and of course a kitchen along with a bathroom. Shimiko looked both ways down the hallway before closing and locking the door behind the twins. She set the containers the burgers down on the kotatsu and took a seat Indian style before inviting the twins to do the same. It occurred to her that the twins might each want a burger but she had only bought one for each of them. She slapped her forehead but said nothing not wanting to draw attention to her mistake. She could offer them her hamburger but they might get a bit antsy about that. She noticed that they weren't used to nice treatment and often interpreted those acts as being burdensome. If they wanted more food she could always pick up more and there was enough fries for them to share in the meanwhile. She opened up the two containers containing burgers and went into the kitchen to grab a couple of glasses. She poured them full of blood orange lemonade and returned to the kotatsu to hand the twins the cup. Ayano's lemonade was good but she decided to forego it in favor of her own.

Shimiko took her seat just as she did before and sipped from the glass. She set it aside and turned to the twins.

"Okay so, the thing with hamburgers is that they can be delicious but messy" She gripped her own with two hands, squeezing it so that none of the fixings or the beef patty would fall apart. She showed the twins so that they could copy her. Of course there was a toothpick in the center to keep it altogether but that could fall out sometimes. "A hamburger is basically a nice juicy slice of beef between two fresh buns with some lettuce, tomato, sometimes cheese, pickles, onions, and sometimes bacon. Its really good! Just hold it like this and..." Shimiko nommed the burger and smiled gleefully as she enjoyed the meal. The twins were gonna love this she was sure of it.

The twins followed her inside as Shimiko began to prepare a place for them to eat, they watched her as she sat down with her legs Indian style and chose to do the same thing with the pair merged it made eating for them easier. They would take a seat across from her and watch her and listen to her instructions, they would look down before lifting the burger and taking a bite. This food was something they had never experienced it tasted so good as they would begin to scarf it down not caring one bit how messy it was. As it would begin to cover their outfit in the sauces and tears entering their eyes, it was far to good for them. They would finish the burger and take a drink of the orange juice, it was also great as they would finish it and place the cup on the table. They would look down at themselves and blush a bit they had gotten all dirty again with them suddenly lifting the shirt off exposing their chest, but it was only Shimiko and they felt safe around her.

"We are sorry we got the clothing dirty if you want to punish us we understand we did not mean to get messy after you warned us. It was so good though, we never had anything that tasted that good in our entire life."

They waited to see if Shimiko would get mad, they hoped they had not upset her and waited for her punishment. In the past doing something when warned meant severely punished, very severly the beatings among other things they were given made them simply look at the ground waiting for her answer.

Shimiko watched in amazement as the twins scarfed down their burger. She was worried they would choke given the speed and intensity at which they were eating. She hesitated unsure of whether to say anything or restrain them so they wouldn't injure themselves. The Chinoike opted to just stay in watch as they enjoyed their food. If it looked like they were about to choke then she'd step in at a moment's notice. Thankfully they finished their meal and washed it down with the blood orange lemonade she had prepared. Shimiko smiled when the twins blushed as they realized they had made a mess. They began to take off their shirt which wasn't necessary but she stopped herself from correcting them. If they felt more comfortable this way then she'd allow it. The whole point behind them eating together in the privacy of her home was so that they could enjoy their first real meal without the fear of judgment or other malicious prying eyes. If the girl felt more at home by taking off the food stained shirt then Shimiko wouldn't complain. She grabbed a handful of napkins and wiped Yui's mouth in a gentle and loving manner. She had never even considered the remote possibility of being a mother at her age but somehow her maternal instincts were kicking in at this very moment. She wasn't sure exactly how old the twins were but the acted the same way a young child might and the reality of their situation made her sad but also hopeful. She could raise them as if they were her own and where her parents had failed her, she could be there for the twins.

She knew it was too early to drag him into this but if this did become a long term arrangement then she'd have to bring him in on it eventually. It was almost too sweet to be a real possibility. Raising Yui and Yua as her own children with Sakata as the loving and supporting husband and father. Worshiping Jashin and murdering others in his name as a wholesome family. The vision brought tears to her eyes it was so beautiful and it almost caused her to miss what the twins were saying. They apologized for making a mess and said they expected punishment. The idylic dream was shattered when she imagined what their stepfather must have done to them for even the slighest of infractions. The blonde choked by the tears and look at Yui and Yua with nothing but tenderness.

"Its fine really. Burgers are delicious but they tend to get really messy. I'd never hurt you Yui and Yua. Never." she looked them in the eye as she said it and gave the twins' mouth a final wipe with the napkin before setting it aside. She took the dirty shirt and threw it into the hamper before returning with a fresh white shirt. "Here. Yui...Yua...I want you to know that I consider you family and that I promise we'll have lots of experiences just like this. You'll be happy I swear it." she said. She wasn't sure she could depart from the twins when they were so new to the world. Even if they managed to kill the twins' stepfather, they'd have to fend for themselves. They could very well be effective ninja as evidenced by the fact that they graduated from the academy but they were nowhere near astute enough to survive in the adult world. Shimiko would need to look after them and she'd do it until they were ready to move on or until she was dead. Shimiko walked over to her food and began to eat her hamburger. They'd need to discuss how to deal with the madman soon enough but for now she wanted to savor this wholesome moment. She tried to think of something to ask the twins but for once she was at a loss for words. Her thoughts kept drifting to how her own parents had treated her and why she didn't want the same for the twins.

The twins watched as her hand came toward their mouth flinching slightly before feeling her wipe the mess from it. They had nothing to fear from Shimiko but their instincts were to expect pain and suffering as she said she would not hurt them a smile would cross their face lifting their head. One thing Shimiko would notice is the number of scars on their body, as the twins would slip on the white shirt turning their back to her as they did the scars across their back showed the abuse they suffered. Clearly, whip marks burns and even weapon wounds, it was not the body for someone their age and looked more like they had been tortured in some sort of camp.

"We are happy you consider us family Shimiko, you have done so much for us already and we appreciate it. If we need to repay you we have nothing to offer but our bodies to do with as you like, we owe you this much."

If she wished they would do anything for her and serve her in any means she desired, she deserved at least this much. They waited to hear her response as they would turn around and smile taking a seat once again, there was still the discussion of their stepfather. He had a regular appointment he would keep every Tuesday at nine pm. He would have someone bring a young girl to his chamber and do things to her before he would send them off, but the twins were sure he had them killed to never speak of what he had done to them. He always took young girls that were homeless or in very low poverty, offering them a good time and money, but they doubted he ever paid anything.

"Our stepfather every Tuesday brings a young girl to his home, what he does with them... we can't imagine but we are sure it's perverse, they are usually poor girls or homeless and he sends them off. The thing is he sends that man we met at the restaurant with them to take them home, so we are sure he kills them to make sure they can never testify against him. I only hope we can figure out where the bodies were disposed to give them a proper burial and find the families and tell them the news. No one deserves to suffer and not see a loved one when they are dead hoping every day they walk back through the door."

Shimiko shuddered at the sight of the the horrible bruises that marred the twins's joint body. She would need to talk to Ryuko about potentially healing these scars. There was no reason why Yui and Yua should have to bear the memories of their time with such a cruel and malicious man. Shimiko would erase the reminders and erase the man who had inflicted them on Yui and Yua. The twins were grateful and knew no other way to express their gratitude than to offer themselves to Shimiko. The blonde frowned as she could only assume that they had been accostomed to the idea as acting as someone else's plaything or tool of war. They didn't have a strong concept of self and any kind gesture was seen as something to be repaid with sex or violence. She shook her head in response.

"Don't worry about repaying me. Jashin brought us together and I know that he wants to me to take care of you...grow your faith...help you kill your enemies.....and give you a happy life" she said. "That's payment enough for me". Shimiko wasn't sure why she was suddenly so protective of the twins and eager to raise them. Perhaps she felt she had been wronged in her own upbringing and that by raising the twins she wanted to show that things would have turned out better between her and her own parents if only they raised her the way she planned on raising Yui and Yua. She had had converts and devotees before but this was different somehow.

The twins spoke while Shimiko ate her burger. They confirmed their stepfather to be a pedophile that relieved his perverted desires on poor and unsuspecting orphan girls. Shimiko had herself preyed on the poor and orphaned in order to sacrifice to her God. This man was using them for his own glory and pleasure before killing them, completely spoiling the point of sacrifice. Shimiko finished up her burger and washed it down with the blood orange lemonade.

"I see" she replied. The ruminations of a plan forming in her head. "I think I have a way to trick him. Him and that thug from the restaurant might normally recognize me on sight but I have a technique that I think will help disguise us. From there we can pretend to be one of his girls and infiltrate his base of operations before making our move to kill him. How strong is he as an individual? How many guards does he have working for him? How strong was that one guard in the restaurant?"

They listened to Shimiko say they did not need to repay her but still they felt guilty, to enjoy happiness after never having it felt impossible. She simply said grow their faith and kill, that would not be a problem killing people like their stepfather would bring them no greater joy in life. She began to formulate a plan as she listened to Shimiko it was a good plan but still she was worried, while her father was not strong that man was not someone to mess with.

"My stepfather is not a trained man taking care of him would be easy, he has about six guards that are likely high genin or maybe lower Chuunin level. The man at the restaurant is quite a bit stronger I would safely say he is likely close to Jounin level or stronger, I have seen him use techniques only a Jounin level could use. I do think this can work but if they suspect us it could lead to things we both don't want... like... sexual abuse or possibly death, do not think for a minute if he realized he did not control us anymore he wouldn't just go for it."

They were sure they would need further help, someone strong enough to deal with that man, the others likely could be taken care of. They would wait to hear what sister Shimiko would say as they were excited and scared at the same time. They could finally be free from the man that has controlled them from the shadows, and still they had so many sins and demons they have yet to tell Shimiko, the things they had done to people under orders from that man would make some people sick.

Shimiko listened solemnly as the twins explained the situation. The pedophile would not be a problem and she was confident she could take out a couple of Chuunin. The main henchman though would be a problem if he was Jounin leveled. Shimiko did not want to bring the help of another person in but she was content to do so if the situation truly called for it. She knew someone who would be willing to help them although the woman would not take kindly upon having her services called upon. She would want payment, certain assurances. Shimiko had felt her pressure before but if she asked for a favor this large there would be no avoiding a certain conversation that she had put off for years. Shimiko shook the thought from her head unwilling to have that burden on her mind right now. She'd find a way to kill all of them without anyone's help. She was a Chinoike, a warrior of the highest caliber. She could do this but it would require expert planning if they were to pull it off. The stakes were high as the twins informed her but she was used to that sort of high risk lifestyle. It turned her on not in a purely sexual sense but in a spiritually fulfilling sort of way. It was the entire reason she had become a Jashinist.

"I can come up with a plan. I just need some time.....I'll let you know when we're ready. In the mean time, try to think happy thoughts" she offered. "More juice?" she asked. She was content to letting the twins finish their juice. Once they had done that Shimiko would get them ready for bed. She'd tuck them in and spend the next few nights planning and thinking.

They listened to her say she had a plan as she would offer them more juice that they would gladly accept. They would finish it before going with her as she would help them bathe and get ready for bed, the pair would get tucked in and put to bed in a way they never thought possible, The two would unmerge and begin to hold each other's hands as they would pull each other close and begin to sleep. It showed they often had in the past to use each other for warmth as it was not in a sexual way but more of a need way, the two easily falling to sleep feeling more comfort then they ever had in their lives.
