Hiroji had returned home one day after completing a mission, since he's been doing a series of them over the past few weeks, slowly but surely getting more experience and as a result, growing stronger as a whole. His father had requested to do a sparring match with him to see how far he had grown, showing some form of a surprise at first to the request but since it was his father, he couldn't really refuse it. It was a check of everything that he had learned so far, with not even five seconds into the duel and Hiroji had been flattened out by his father on the ground.
"Where's your Strong Fist pose?" his father had prompted to Hiroji about, as Hiroji's first attack wasn't back up by much finesse or strength carried behind it with Hiroji simply telling the truth, "I don't know Strong Fist." which led to a genuine surprise from his father. "You hadn't bothered to seek it out or learn it?" Hiroji had simply shrugged, "I was simply too busy with missions, there wasn't much of an open chance for me to learn it."
After that, his father believed it was time to teach him the solid basics of Strong Fist, along with other Taijutsu moves to go along with it. He had given the typical lecture to Hiroji. "There are times when you'll have to use your fists, you can't always rely on jutsu." and so on. It's not like there was much jutsu for Hiroji to rely on other then that one earth release technique he knows, and even then the utility of that technique is far and between.
His father had started to explain the principle behind using Strong Fist, that it's meant to be a fair balance between speed and power, relentless, powerful Taijutsu strikes against an opponent that took advantage of every second in-between striking an opponent. He compared it to the two known chakra natures that Senju tend to have, being as hard as rock and as fast as water. Strong Fist is the combination of both forces put into one Taijutsu style and most of Konoha's finest Taijutsu shinobi tend to know the Strong Fist style.
They began the training by trying to get Hiroji to emulate the Strong Fist style since it's something utilised on it's own, since it's meant to be used in the sense of quite literally improving one's power and speed. Hiroji had managed to get the power behind his punches down but as soon as he connected, he reached some level of assurance and let his guard down, to which his father brutally capitalised on in order to beat that habit out of him. This lasted for a few hours as Hiroji just relentlessly kept going at his father getting a few hits in here and there and his father knocking back his own son with the very style that he's trying to teach his son, in order to teach him.
They eventually went for a break as Hiroji's mother had gotten worried about the injuries that Hiroji could've sustained from such constant fighting, with his father reassuring his mother that he's a Senju, he'll deal with the damage and get stronger for it. They had a quick food break and a reasonable amount of time to get their stamina back up before going for another round of fighting, and this time around Hiroji had started to finally learn, with not only powerful punches and kicks supported behind his attacks, but with intense speed that kept connecting with no second wasted in an effort to constantly attack his father.
It went on like this towards the night as his father wanted him to get used to the way of Strong Fist, to get accustomed to it even in tiring situations as he'd believed that one day, Strong Fist will save the boys life. It was mostly a repeat of what happened earlier as there seemed to be no hiccups in the way that Hiroji had used strong fist, which greatly impressed his father, pleasing him with the result.
Next was to teach Hiroji a couple of the techniques known exclusively to the Strong Fist style, which led to his father in an attempt to teach Hiroji Leaf Great Whirlwind, Shadow of the Dancing Leaf etc, which despite Hiroji's mastery of using the Strong Fist, was a bit harder to master. Hiroji had used the first technique several times as a practice against his father, messing up the exact coordination and power of the kicks a lot until he had it nailed down on the last try, with his father taking it on well enough from how it looked, which then led to learning another technique from the list.
His father constantly jumped in the air, and the purpose of Hiroji is to just reach high up in the air in terms of great speed to appear right behind him, to which he managed to accomplish well enough, and one more technique which is essentially a uppercut kick of some sorts, which proved to be quite powerful when it landed against an enemy as when Hiroji landed it against his father's chin, he looked to be out of it quite a bit until he brought it back together. His father had before ending the lesson to teach two techniques of Arhat Fist to him, since he knew that his son was somewhat proficient in his style, in-case speed doesn't do the job and raw strength is what he's after.
After a whole, exhaustive night of training, Hiroji had ended up learning a significant amount of Taijutsu from his father as a result for the future, in-case he needed to defend himself seriously in close quarters combat if his long-range ninjutsu didn't do the job. After all was said and done, Hiroji and his father were done for the day and retired to their rooms to get back their energy, with his father stating that he may have more to teach Hiroji for later on.
